Hell yeah, gin!subtlefuge said:Jack Daniels is roughly the quality of "well" whiskey, and twice the price. It tastes good with coke, but so does the cheapest of liquor.
Anyways, whiskey's a decidedly winter drink for me. When summer rolls around it's all about:

Too bad there's no variety with gin. I'll drink it straight, or with tonic, but anything else sounds like something that one would use to induce vomiting.
I swear, someone suggested gin and milk on another forum I was reading. Just thinking about it makes me want to throw up a little, and kill the guy through my computer screen.
Ugh... Hell no, Gin and milk...
I agree. Gin straight and gin and tonic are about the only two sane ways to drink the stuff. That being said, I tried to get creative once. Gin and tonic is good with a dash of lime, right? I tried to extend that concept and ad gin to lemonade, and it was actually pretty great. If i were to do it again, I would home-make the lemonade and add much less sugar. I think store bought lemonade is too sweet and it overpowers the piny taste of the gin.
