Yeah you're right. I'm just jealous that you still get to experience it for the first time!
Well, Mass Effect 3 will be out in a while. Soon, you shall experience that too!
Really? Have they said it'll be out soon? That would be awesome. But at the same time I hope it isn't rushed...

I played through bioshock in one night. I was done at about 6 AM.
Slightly unrelated but I spent three hours arguing on the, "did your parents hit you" thread.

My curses are Tales of Vesperia and Saints Row 2.
Me and a friend teamed up on Vesperia when I first got it. We started playing few hours after it was delivered in my mail so from about 3PM to well... 3PM...

Saints Row 2 got that effect too, but I usually manage to tear myself away from the screen around 4am, but that's hard.

My newest curse is Monster Hunter. Played it last night, I had played it before I went to eat and after dinner I watched a few movies and I got back to the game at 2am. I was just going to save then go to sleep since it was late, but I ended up playing for almost 2 hours. Not much compared to either Vesperia or Saints Row 2, but I was right next to the save when I started.

It was about 5 years ago, tbh and the culprits were Eternal Darkness and Skies Of Arcadia (I played those games far too much)
I do play for too many hours on ME and ME2 but have a one year old baby so no playing through the night for me :)
That said I stayed up til 5.30 on Thurs/Fri watching the general election and got up at 7.30 before realising I am too old to get by on 2 hours sleep ;-)
Skies of Arcadia is a dangerous game... I wish I could play that again :(.
Why can't you play it again? :-O I am thinking of hooking up the Wii (or the Gamecube) and reliving it :) Just won't be playing through the night for reasons previously stated.
Someone's borrowing it right now. That, my GameCube and most my games. I borrow his PS2, but it's not the same without Skies of Arcadia. :p

I usually end up going to bed even if I'm playing some MMO.

Mostly because I generally have to do things next morning, being a student and all that.

On a somewhat unrelated note, I FUCKING HATE THOSE BIRDS. They start chirping at like 4 AM, and if you aren't already asleep by then they'll be bugging you the whole time until you close the window, but I like sleeping with my window open.

The day I purchased Crysis Warhead, beat it that same day. I got home, Installed it, and just could not stop playing it and beat it some time at 3am, starting at around 10pm or so. The single player was short, but for an expand alone it was fucking kick ass. Proceeded to the multiplayer right after I beat single player and played till 6am before giving out.

Same effect happened when I bought Dissidia, that was a whole day wasted away on the couch playing the shit out of that game. Didin't stop playing till 5am, and with a level 50 Golbez by the end of it(before I figured out the quick level-up trick).

I stay up until 5.a.m playing video games a lot more then I probably should.
but the worst (or best when i think about it) is battlefield:bad company, countless nights were spent playing that game from 1.p.m to 5.a.m.
and I'm sure the same will happen when i finally get my hands on bc2.
and that's not a typo up there i meant 1.p.m.

Recently it was L4D2 vs mode. But that was mostly because I was already having a hard time sleeping. I think the last time I played through KOTOR II I ended up staying awake until something like 5 or 6am, and that wasn't even the first time I'd played through the game.

Dragon Age: Origins. I still never sit down to that game unless I have at least 2 hours to kill.

Mount & Blade. If you haven't heard of it check it out.

That's pretty much it. Any other games I generally check out at about 1 since I get to tired to focus anymore.

First day-wrecker: Final Fantasy III/VI. Wound up playing it so long that when I realized the sun was coming up, I needed to get ready for school. Oh well. Took a nap in Math.

More recently than that: Maplestory. Wound up playing that in some crazy 16-20 hour sitting (well more or less; I mean I did get up occasionally).

And of course, WoW. When you realize that "Hey, I've been playing this since I woke up, and have yet to get up to go eat, drink, or hit the bathroom, hey, I may need a break".
