Fallout 3 and Mass Effect 1 and 2 have this effect on me... last time it happened was just on friday night/saturday morning. Only reason I went to bed was because I couldn't be arsed on probing more planets before going to the Omega 4 relay >_< Planet-probing = BORING

i was staying the night at a friends house next door, and watched dad go to work, i was playing Mega Man X (when it first came out) he used to leave for work around 5 or 6 AM

Pokemon will do that to me to if i let it

and it did happen when Killer Instinct Gold came out, but not sure if that one counts cause i blanked out for like an hour, but some how was not only still still playing, but at the boss o.0

Demons Souls did it to me to and since people are quoting there MMOs, City of Heroes has keep me up into the wee hours more then a few times

Fallout 3. I played that game until 7 am and, surprisingly, my 360 held it like a champ. Mass Effect 1 and 2 are guilty of this as well, and Pokémon Silver Soul took me back to play the whole night without making a stop to sleep.

Paper Mario had this effect on me once. A friend was over, and we decided to start up both of the real Paper Mario games. We ended up staying up all night. We beat both of them though.

apparently you and i "study" for finals the same way, since I was up all night last night playing WoW. But, in my defense I never can sleep during the week of finals, so it gives me something to do all night.

good luck with yours

I have a friend who can continue to play a game indefinitely.

When he comes over, extreme insomnia follows.

The last two times he came over we played Resident Evil 5, and Unreal Tournament 3.

We beat Resident Evil Co-op in one straight sitting in seventeen hours thirty eight minutes.

With Unreal...

Oh, gawd...

I'm pretty sure the total playtime was somewhere around thirty two hours, forty six minutes.

...

Continuous play, mind you.

I'll go check the save and get back to you with an edit for confrimation.

When I first got Team Fortress, two Saturdays in a row I started playing at maybe 9. What felt like two hours later my mom walks in "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING PLAYING VIDEOGAMES AT 6 IN THE MORNING!" At which point I finally went to bed, and proceeded to have a dream of my friends being TF2 characters. I killed this kid I didn't like though. So it's ok.

I'm surprisingly time-conscious no matter how engrossed I am.

I turn the clock to face my desk (from the bed-side table) so that I can see it whenever without it breaking any immersion for me. Not that I care, if I get a new game I have a compulsion to play as much of it in one go.

I bought AC2 on the Friday it came out, and started playing at about 6pm. I finished playing at quarter to 9 Sunday evening.

Obviously I slept and ate, but other than that that's pretty much all I did - luckily I didn't have anything planned that weekend!

Oh, and I finished everything except a few side-missions, the treasure chests and the feathers.

STALKER, Monster Hunter, Metal Slug.

Just look at the game then after a while I look out my window and it's light. I'm like... Say what?
Ninja'd! least for Monster Hunter and metal Slug... but i'll consider trying STALKER now ^^

Fallout 3 also did this to me once, but never since...FF Crystal Chronicles, as in the Original for Game cube... but instead of 5am it was about 4am... and instead of being alerted by the sounds of birds, it was by our GBA's running out of battery :p

This frequently happens to me when I'm on this site

Soldier of Fortune 2 :) Did that "play-until-am-hours" like tons of times. Team Fortress 2 or latest battle field now but I (almost) never even stay up to 1:00 am.

My first time playing Half Life 2 I sat there from like 7pm until nearly 3am (I got just inside the doorway of Nova Prospekt) before I decided to call it quits.
But even farther than that, I've played Sid Meier's Railroads until half to 5 in the morning once or twice.

There are loads of games that kept me awake all night long, but the one I remember most was Final Fantasy IX. I spent the whole night digging for Chocographs. Damn those addicting, time-consuming sidequests!

Gran Turismo 4

On the 24 Hour Nuremburg race, I didnt actually drive for 24H but you can put it on B-Spec and fast forward at 3x speed. Every time your car pits you have to turn on 3x again, So I was up until 1 or 2 reseting the speed
