Look. It was developed for a reason, to use in multiplayer, not for it to sit in the custom class gathering Dust, so if people can use it, they will. Same goes for the Perks. They were developed too, and if no one can go in a game without someone saying "zOMG turn off Last Stand/Marty you noob" Then the person who said it deserves to be culled, because Perks and customizing weapons are what makes COD4 Unique to alot of other online FPS's. I hate it when people complain about such trivial things like that.TriggerUnhappy said:people who noob-tube on every game of Call of Duty 4.
As annoying as that is, you gotta admit, those killcams are entertaining to watch.Davey Woo said:"That Guy" for me is usually the master of Random Grenades (usually on CoD4) Thrown across the map, bouncing off twenty different objects to finally land at my feet.
I usually kick all three versions of 'That Guy' from my servers if I can. They just serve to cause problems for those who aren't 'That Guy.'Insanum said:Three that guy variants:
That guy that sits in the wall shooting you as you walk past.
That guy that stands next to your amazing sniping place with an AK Firing wildly.
That Guy that screams "cheatz!" Just because he cant play.
Nope, thats just awesome. 'That Guy' moments are when someone does something annoying/game breaking on purpose for personal gain or just to piss other people off.Craig FTW said:does playing COD5 for the third time in my life with my friends and shooting a bullet at 3 enemy guys lined up and the bullet somehow going thru them all, killing all 3 of them, and winning the game within the first 8 seconds count as being 'that guy'?
It should be LAW that you have to work to get them, instead of farming, and that there shalt be no penalty for interfering with such cheap asses.Diet Chaos said:Anyone and everyone who goes into achievement / idle servers on TF2.
I wasn't aware that true skill (Doubtless through many, many hours of gameplay) made one into 'That Guy.' I thought it meant the guy who takes advantage of glitches, not the guy who's better than you because he has more skill(z).Whistler777 said:Counter-Strike: Source, that guy who has mastered the AK47 and gets a 5/1 KD ratio because of it.
Me. Rocket launchers, too. None of my friends want to play Halo 3 anymore because if I get a rocket launcher, they're so screwed it stops being fun for them anymore.HardRockSamurai said:In every FPS known to man, there's always a guy who's a master of those bloody grenades.
Also camping (Unless in a deathmatch setting where you are fated to spawn in exactly the same point every time) is not against the rules. I think you're mistaking "Taking advantage of glitches" with "Plays the game fairly and adopts a strategy I dislike because I don't know how to beat it." The difference is one of them is actually cheating, the other is just your shortcomings getting the best of you. So here's what you do: If you know they're camping all game in the same spot, find a way to sneak up on them or otherwise outwit them and kill them. If they go back, more kills for you. If not, camping problem solved. Viola, camping is no longer "cheating" and is now somewhat worthless against you.dark-amon said:I once met one of those who took pride in it. he actually called himself masterCamper!
