Altar of Blood in Brutal Legend. I love the idea of the map, but I can never work out when to use the blood, and always seem to get completely destroyed in every game I play on it.

Oh, and Crucible of the Titans. The amount of times I've lost half an army just because the Titans seem to pretend they're going to hit somewhere else, then change their minds at the last minute...

Yeah. Hazard maps, not really my thing. I do like Feeding Area though.

Bah! Nuketown is nothing compared to the hell that was Shipment from CoD4!

Why is this? Imagine if you took only the little inside portion of Nuketown situated between the houses, cut that out, and made it into its own map. Sounds like a terrible idea, right? Well it is, and that is basically what Shipment was.
The only thing that pissed me off about shipment was the constant grenade spam. Man that sucked.

Nuketown in Black ops, stupid spawn trap...
Also, Battle for Gillneas in World of Warcraft cataclysm. It's boring as hell. It has a nice design tough.

I consider Suburbia worse then Bedlam. At least Bedlam has glow sticks. xD
Eh, Suburbia is ok if people do what they are told and STAY UP ON THE GODDAMNED ROOF. Sure, you can do alright down on the ground if you have a decent team, but there are very few people I've played with that seem to know how to kill all the low level enemies. It's especially bad on that level since at least half my games on that level I'll take a fleshpound down with my xbow, only to discover that the commando standing next to me decided to shoot at it instead of the clots, and suddenly there are 20 of the bastards grabbing at us.

The easiest way to level Medic is partner with a Zerker or a Demo person. Easy free heals from carelessness. <3
Eh, I'm only about 1000 short of getting medic up to 6. I've been spending more time with Berserker recently and am attempting to get it up to 6, too. It's level 5 now, but spawning with body armour and a chainsaw would be nice.

Team Fortress 2: 2Fort. God, I hate 2Fort. The battlements are plagued with Snipers, and the entrances to the intel room are narrow chokepoints, perfect for Engineers to turtle with their sentry guns. Because of this, the match frequently ends with a stalemate.
I actually enjoy 2Fort. I think it's a good way of showing off the abilities of all the classes. The battlements exist for the whole purpose of snipers being able to be snipers, and if defensive classes didnt have a good place to defend from, no one would bother playing as them. Its the same with other classes. As a pyro, I appreciate the smaller spaces you can find, because thats where my Backburner is really effective.

I don't find Biotics Lab all that terrible. At least it's got decent choke points and the level layout makes some kind of sense.

Bedlam on the other hand... Ugh...
Exactly. Biotics Lab is awesome, especially when everyone turns to face one direction in a corridor, and then when you turn around you discover that the game spawned 2 fleshpounds about 5 feet away from you.

Other than that moment of complete retarded game logic it's pretty awesome, though.

Mountain Pass in Killing Floor.

It is quite possibly the most tedious map in the history of zombie games, what with it taking upwards of 10 minutes for all the specimens to make their way to you from about round 5 onwards. It's so slow that I end up having to shave between rounds because it just takes so. fucking. long.
Actually, what I hate more than anything is not the repeat of maps, but the use of vanilla maps on custom map servers.

Especially when you have custom campaign maps.

Cold War in BC2, otherwise known as Bloom War: Revenge of the Bloom.

[small]Even when I have bloom turned off, bloom still strikes with a vengeance...[/small]

Oh yeah and it's generally a shit map anyway.
What?! That is my favorite map on BC2. With balanced teams it is an intense firefight with buildings crashing down and lmg fire spraying everywhere!

While on the topic of Battlefield... Strike at Karkand, anyone?

Unoriginal, but I agree with you. I don't understand it's popularity, I just find it frustrating.

I don't play enough competitive multiplayer online anymore to have anything else in mind.

Dawn of War II. The entire campaign has like 15 maps, each of wich you have to/can revisit each and every campaign-mission-round. And the enemies always come from the same direction. This is one of the reasons I stopped playing.

Apparently Perfect Dark and Goldeneye shared some levels... :p

OT: I don't really play online FPS, but knowing people that do, I assume it's because they like to have the most hardcore fights where they can prove how mega awesome they are. There will always be mass favourites, sometimes based on other criteria, but I'd imagine mostly this

Aww, I like MP! Xd

For me it's Biotics Lab in Killing Floor. Too dark, too green and TOO narrow. It's almost as bad as Bedlam. >.>
Oddly enough I like both Mountain Pass and Biotics Lab. I hate Bedlam though, and Suburbia. Suburbia is probably the worst map in the game considering you can't see anything because of how dark it is. Luckily, it's never played.

Estate in MW2 pissed me off. Especially in CTF where the team up top would just capture once and then camp the rest of the map.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Montergogini.

I freakin hate that map. You can't play tactically because of the multilevel map. People just blend into a group on the top of that balcony and BAM. Free kills.
