I never played SSBB, but this dispute about Final Destination always makes me laugh:ThatFanBoyGuy said:I got sick of Final Destination on SSBB because it was played so often. That and it was too plain.
At least Blood Gulch and Coagulation both play somewhat well, at least whenever you aren't being spawnkilled repeatedly.AK47Marine said:No Blood Gulch from the Halo games? seriously that map would not go away
Not as bad as this, though, Invasion, my favorite map is the Spire. My friend used to hate it, and now he likes it. Whenever we play it together on matchmaking, he camps next to the Banshee spawn, takes it and spams for the rest of the match, while I actually fight, then compares his ridiculous +30 to my, for example, +8, and gives me his best troll face. As far as I'm concerned, knowing the spawn point of different weapons and such, then spamming/camping with that far superior weapon doesn't really constitute skill.Grouchy Imp said:Sticking with Reach, I can never get why people continually pick Reflection. I hate that level with a passion, not least of all because you always (and I mean always) have one person in every lobby who thinks that picking Active Camo, grabbing the Energy Sword as soon as the level starts and then sitting at the top of the cargo lift is the height of tactical cunning.
I think its pretty fun online. I haven't played CoD4 in a long time, so I might be remembering poorly, but The only gametype I've ever seen on it was headquarters, which as I recall was 6v6 in that tiny little map, and it was always a hilarious fragfest with everyone completely ignoring the objective and racking up kills. (And as it wasn't deathmatch, there was no kill limits. scores of 60-80 were very common for a 10-15 minute match.)GrizzlerBorno said:Yeah, Crossfire was pretty stupid, even for domination, I'd say. As for Shipment: ARE YOU Kidding? It's hilarious too play shipment with 3x nades, Martyrdom, and only shotguns, aka, Shit blows Up! I play that once in a while with my friends over LAN; hilarity ensues.Rhymer said:Crossfire - only good gamemode on this is domination, and even that is barely balanced enough to be any fun.
Shipment - yeeeeeeah... 3x frag anyone?
CoD4 by the way, for those who never played it
But i guess it wouldn't be as fun online.
Dustbowl itself I don't really mind. Dustbowl with fast respawn? Well done, you've just brutally murdered the game balance.thefreeman0001 said:dustbowl in tf2 -__________-
Yeah, cause liking something you don't like makes people idiots...Fidelias said:This. Just goes to show you how many friggin idiots play Black Ops, that so many people would love this map.
I agree. Biotics Lab is just....bleh. Same goes for Wyre (I think it's spelled that way), I just never really liked either.Aylaine said:Aww, I like MP! XdSteppin Razor said:Mountain Pass in Killing Floor.
It is quite possibly the most tedious map in the history of zombie games, what with it taking upwards of 10 minutes for all the specimens to make their way to you from about round 5 onwards. It's so slow that I end up having to shave between rounds because it just takes so. fucking. long.
For me it's Biotics Lab in Killing Floor. Too dark, too green and TOO narrow. It's almost as bad as Bedlam. >.>
I like Crossfire.. T^T The server I regularly play bans for Martyrdom, they're probably gonna warn for Last Stand and 3x Frag soon.. Shipment is okay if you have very few people..GrizzlerBorno said:Yeah, Crossfire was pretty stupid, even for domination, I'd say. As for Shipment: ARE YOU Kidding? The horrible spawning, the grenade spamming, and the inability to work as a team?MiracleOfSound said:Yeah, cause liking something you don't like makes people idiots...Fidelias said:This. Just goes to show you how many friggin idiots play Black Ops, that so many people would love this map.
I love Nuketown and Shipment.
It's total complete chaos and pandemonium, what's not to love?
