Sewers in Goldeneye, you can't see shit, it's like blindfoldedly running through a minefield with as your only form of melee, sprinkling blood.

Array in Black Ops, any map in MW2 except that last map pack that came out.

Oh, Wasteland in MW2, oh man, I HATE that map.

I got sick of Final Destination on SSBB because it was played so often. That and it was too plain.
I never played SSBB, but this dispute about Final Destination always makes me laugh:

As for least favourite common maps, Bloc in Modern Warfare. That map should not exist...

I hate 2fort as well. It's static and most of the time you have a couple engineers on each side just building up sentries and blocking off areas. I prefer the more dynamic maps where the battleline can change. Even hydro due the fact that once a point is taken the map switches. In 2fort once you capture the intel... you have to go back and get it again. Boring. Doesn't help that there are always servers of it running while I have trouble finding some of the other maps (where's my Hydro? I like that map...).

Warsong Gulch in WoW back when I played was similarly not one of my PvP maps that I'd play for similar reasons to 2fort. Of course it took even longer for you to get across the map, well at least before having a mount.

Terminal in MW2 earns my ire for one thing: domination. I've played too many games where my team gets stuck at the one spawn point where the other team just spawn camps you to death, and then again and again and again... Eventually killstreaks like helicopters and AC-130's come in and it becomes so annoying because you'll only ever make it out of the area 1 out of 4 or 5 times.

I've played Final Destination way too many times on both Melee and Brawl. They aren't the fairest and they're boring as fuck. If you want a straight up fighter pick up SSFIV.

Surprising Shipment can actually be quite fun for the fact that it can get so crazy. It's at this point you don't try to survive, you just try to kill as many people as possible. Me and my friends would play it alot on local and it was still pretty active. Then I got online... the madness is so thrilling!

Its not so much a particular map that I don't like; its just that I never like the maps other people like.

No Blood Gulch from the Halo games? seriously that map would not go away
At least Blood Gulch and Coagulation both play somewhat well, at least whenever you aren't being spawnkilled repeatedly.

//=======

Hemorrhage in Reach is what bugs me; its layout makes snipers so much easier to conceal and defend than in its predecessors, despite giving them a far better view of the battlefield. Which is saying a lot. AND it's plagued by the spawn problems its predecessors had.
And, most of all, people always vote for it.

The crazy thing is that those same people who vote for it repeatedly seem to actually hate it once the game gets going. I've had several games of Invasion Slayer on Hemorrhage (note: horrible and unbalanced) where the type was voted for almost unanimously, and yet a ton of people from blue team started leaving when they realize that they'd just voted to be spawnsniped for 15 minutes. Thanks guys!

I think I'm going to have to join the hundreds of people saying Nuketown in Black Ops. SO many things wrong with that map. It's not terrible to play once, but I remember close to when the game came out it took me quite a while to get in a server that wasn't playing Nuketown repeatedly.

Sticking with Reach, I can never get why people continually pick Reflection. I hate that level with a passion, not least of all because you always (and I mean always) have one person in every lobby who thinks that picking Active Camo, grabbing the Energy Sword as soon as the level starts and then sitting at the top of the cargo lift is the height of tactical cunning.
Not as bad as this, though, Invasion, my favorite map is the Spire. My friend used to hate it, and now he likes it. Whenever we play it together on matchmaking, he camps next to the Banshee spawn, takes it and spams for the rest of the match, while I actually fight, then compares his ridiculous +30 to my, for example, +8, and gives me his best troll face. As far as I'm concerned, knowing the spawn point of different weapons and such, then spamming/camping with that far superior weapon doesn't really constitute skill.

Reflection is grating on me though. I have done some painful matches on that hellhole.

Crossfire - only good gamemode on this is domination, and even that is barely balanced enough to be any fun.

Shipment - yeeeeeeah... 3x frag anyone?

CoD4 by the way, for those who never played it
Yeah, Crossfire was pretty stupid, even for domination, I'd say. As for Shipment: ARE YOU Kidding? It's hilarious too play shipment with 3x nades, Martyrdom, and only shotguns, aka, Shit blows Up! I play that once in a while with my friends over LAN; hilarity ensues.

But i guess it wouldn't be as fun online.
I think its pretty fun online. I haven't played CoD4 in a long time, so I might be remembering poorly, but The only gametype I've ever seen on it was headquarters, which as I recall was 6v6 in that tiny little map, and it was always a hilarious fragfest with everyone completely ignoring the objective and racking up kills. (And as it wasn't deathmatch, there was no kill limits. scores of 60-80 were very common for a 10-15 minute match.)

Dustbowl itself I don't really mind. Dustbowl with fast respawn? Well done, you've just brutally murdered the game balance.

I love Nuketown and Shipment.

It's total complete chaos and pandemonium, what's not to love?

i can saftley say that after 2 1/2 years of playing tf2, 2fort has ended in a stale mate a grand total of 3 times for me, more than any other map i've ever played :/ sure they go on for a while, but they almost never stalemate.

OT: Hmm, can't really say. most of the maps in tf2 are either stuck on one for the whole server or continuasly rotated, so i don't have one. I mainly posted for the offtopic remark :) It's probably my server though, there are mostly no engies (which speeds up the game A LOT) and there are max of 3 snipers. Not an actual max, but not many people do it, and then they're mostly new people.

Mountain Pass in Killing Floor.

It is quite possibly the most tedious map in the history of zombie games, what with it taking upwards of 10 minutes for all the specimens to make their way to you from about round 5 onwards. It's so slow that I end up having to shave between rounds because it just takes so. fucking. long.
Aww, I like MP! Xd

For me it's Biotics Lab in Killing Floor. Too dark, too green and TOO narrow. It's almost as bad as Bedlam. >.>
I agree. Biotics Lab is just....bleh. Same goes for Wyre (I think it's spelled that way), I just never really liked either.

I like Crossfire.. T^T The server I regularly play bans for Martyrdom, they're probably gonna warn for Last Stand and 3x Frag soon.. Shipment is okay if you have very few people..

Counter-Strike: Almost every god damn Gun Game map..
Left 4 Dead: The 4th level of every campaign except Death Toll.. And FUCK The Sacrifice.. And Crash Course..
Left 4 Dead 2: Every campaign except Dark Carnival and The Parish..

The horrible spawning, the grenade spamming, and the inability to work as a team?
