One time, playing Day of Defeat, I was playing the german team on avalanche. I was using the Kar98k, which has a bayonet. I was in the church tower when I saw three americans run underneath me going to the german base. I jumped off the church tower (using a parachute) and stabbed all three of them in the back. And then, they all started screaming OMGWTFBBQ into their microphones at the same time.

Well... I'm Awesome.

How long did you fall?
Let's just say that when I hit the ground, what once was the Hero of Cyrodiil was now a red little puddle.
You know what's great? When you live through it and talk to him again.
I need to try that.

Then punch him again for good measure.
Real men use a fire spell on him.

Just now, playing Yu-Gi-Oh: World Championship 2008, I was in a Structure Duel (where you and your opponent use pre-made decks rather than your own custom one), and managed to annihilate my opponent by destroying roughly 5000 Life Points in one turn, thanks to my deck's Harpie themed cards. Now I know how Mai must feel in the anime all the time :D.

Anyhow, I also had a similar experience yesterday in Rome: Total War. I had a small force roaming the area near Sinope, which I'd just captured from the Pontians, because I've been struggling for ages to make any headway in that region and I knew there were enemy armies prowling around. I had five auxilliary archer units and three Legionnary units, heavy infantry, in a Roman army. Outnumbered about 3-to-1, I annihilated an enemy force consisting mainly of hillmen and spearmen by battering them with flaming arrows then sending my heavy infantry in on a charge on each unit's flank. By the end I'd lost perhaps 30 men, while the enemy had lost around 300 and had completely routed...

You are truly a manly man of manly manliness.

I can't seem to recall any moments like that.

When me and a friend took down down the Mothrakk in Borderlands: Damn that things looks cool when it hit the ground! We actually had a conversation about how awesome it'd be if we could drag it by our car back to the city before it disappeared (sorry, faded away... doesn't make it any less disappointing).

When you take on a massive army in a Total War game with a little army and turn the massive army into a littler army using strategic skill and cunning. It is one of the most epic feelings a game can give.

Hey guys this thread is about the scene in a game that made you feel extremely awesome. I'll start.

I just felt like this when playing monster hunter 3 and killed my first Great Jaggi. It was my first boss monster in the game fairly simple by experienced standpoints but it gave me such a thrill dodging tracking just trying to find a pause to sharpen and heal. It felt epic.
Every monster in the game is like that. I'd imagine it only gets better :p

Beating Prinny Baal in Disgaea the first was kinda intense. Then in CoDMW sniped a guy, bullet went through wall, and killed another guy. Both head-shots.

The stage scene from Alan Wake. You know what I'm talking about. Not to mention the bonus points for doing it without getting hit once.

Playing Blazblue on line as Hakumen against someone playing as Bang. His speed and projectile attacks were not match for me. I didn't suffer a single hit in either round and I just felt awesome at the end.

Anything in the Left4Dead series. Shooting a hunter mid pounce and he falls down a building, ninjaing the tank so that he attacks your friends as you make a run for the safe room.
Bad Company 2. I was playing Valparado online, we were attackers. All of my teammates had fought our way to the top of the light house. Most of my teammates were either snipers or medics, while I was an engineer. All I could do was use my rocket launchers to try and blow up covers so my teammates could snipe them. The medics revived us because we were also being sniped at. We turns out everyone on my squad was a medic. The other team had found out who were the medics and who was blowing up there cover so they killed all of my squad, so about seven snipers who were low on ammo and health were left on top of a lighthouse with a 200 ft drop and a 90% chance of being sniped in a parachute. So my teammates and re spawned next to a helicopter, we all jumped in, me manning the turret, we flew towards the lights house when a tracer tart hits right below me. I alerted my team who started screaming, we decide instead of flying and shooting down the enemy as a distraction for the rest of the team to parachute down, to parachute from the heli onto the lighthouse. Well at that moment they shoot the RPG and it hits our underside so we all instinctively jump out and successfully land on the light house suppling the others with ammo, health, and reviving the dead ones. But here is the cherry. The heli also lands with us with approx. 002 health and being the engineer was able to repair it. We then made rounds landing the heli close to the enemy territory and deploying teammates. That is what online play was made for. My Best gaming moment.
