Recently it was bursting into a room and shooting the guns out of 3 bandit's hands in Red Dead Redemption. Just try to imagine how awesome that would look.

Beating Baldur's Gate 1 when I was nine. Soloing Baldur's gate 2 with a thief (including Kangaxx). Actually managing to beat a few bosses in demon's souls with my pure LUCK based thief (work in progress). I'm working on a solo thief run in BG1 which will probably be one my most difficult BG runs yet (not that it's impressive or anything compared to some of the stuff people have done in those games).

I might say that defeating a half-dozen level 35 guards at level 6 in Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura by using aggro to trap them in the wall-negative zone. Anyone can beat a game, it takes real manliness to outwit the very logic of the game.

Killing two El Gigantes in Resident Evil 4 in the same battle, with just the knife.

The awesome of the scenario was mitigated by the fact that I was forced to because I'd run out of ammo. Then again, it made me desperate enough to push through with just that equipment.

Such moments are part and parcel of trying to conquer a game like RE4 in a single night while at a friends' place. This is why it should be gaming tradition to have such gatherings weekly.

After I beat a whole table of players at Liars Dice and walked out of the saloon $1000 richer, in Red Dead Redemption.
You lucky bastard...
Not that hard I almost never lose the AI is very predictable.

OT: the first time I hacked the international criminal database and removed my criminal record and log in records in uplink
I felt like I was untouchable... then they caught and arrested me via a cold trace >.<

I have!
Me too.
Poseidon, I beat the crap out of him.

And the moment you get the Super Gravity Gun in half-Life 2, that's a moment of pure awesomeness.

Today, in AoE2: I maxxed blacksmith upgrades and created 5 champions, with one monk support, they swept clean 2 opponents. I felt like a madgod.

Any mission in Earth Defense Force 2017.

If you haven't played that game and you own a 360 or know someone who does you have no idea what you're missing. There's NO shooter like it. Have you shot giant ants? Killed a godzilla sized monster? No? Then PLAY IT.

28 kill, 23 head-shot, 47 point rampage as sniper on TF2.

EDIT: its my birthday in 14 minutes.
Happy birthday!

Also, as always, the entirety of Prototype is one big "I'm awesome" moment
As are the stealth portions of Arkham Asylum. Because the words "awesome" and "Batman" are entirely interchangeable.

For less common examples, playing team deathmatch in MW2 in which I got first blood, the game winning kill, 18 kills, and no deaths. Despite having to take weapons from the other team because I ran out of ammo.

Ran up to a bear in RDR and started punching it with my bare fists. Theres a challenge for doing it with a knife but I wanted something different.
There's a trick to getting that kill with the knife. Go to Aurora Basin, draw a bear out, then hide in the little fishing hut. He can't get you, but you can get him :)
