Ladies and gentlemen, hold on to your hats, because Steam has announced yet another sale.

The format is two sets of daily deals, for individual games [http://store.steampowered.com/] and multipacks [http://store.steampowered.com/give/]. Yes, you can buy ten copies of Half Life 2 for £14, yes that's 8 copies of Deus Ex 1 for £8.

So, post your purchases. (Also, make a wishlist with at least ten games and 30 people daily will win the games they designate as their top five. Post said wishlists here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.246951-Steam-Your-top-5-on-your-wishlist].)

You had me really excited with the bundle deals, until I realized you had to buy the whole bundle to get the deal. I still haven't played Half Life 2, but I'll be danged if I'm gonna pay more than $5 for it, or $10-15 with all three HL2 games in a bundle. $5 for both Deus Ex games is tempting...

I'm somewhat disappointed at this sale, it is pretty much a compilation of sales they had earlier in the year, and I guess it is ok if you didn't pull the trigger on the deal before. I have a feeling this year's steam sales aren't going to be really hot, I'm not hopeful but I really hope they surprise me. Though I seriously doubt they will beat the deal D2D had on New Vegas last weekend ($26) or Amazon having Black Ops for $55 with $25 credit. Somewhat crossing my fingers for maybe a Civ 5 deal or MOH but I wouldn't hold my breath.
I'm quite sure their holiday sale will be massive again.

Well I would like to buy Shank and Super Meat Boy for a grand total of $20 but I already have them for the 360. Microsoft should really allow my to play shit from the XBLA on my PC. My WINDOWS 7 PC, come on micrsoft, dammit this shit isn't funny anymore.

If I hadn't played it to death on 360, Borderlands would be a no-brainer for $10.

I grabbed Deus Ex and Counter Strike. Giving serious consideration to Prototype, but I sorta wish I could play a demo first...

Well, Myself and 5 friends managed to grab the RUSE 6 pack. $25 each and the demo made it seem awesome. Can't wait to play it.

Just the Indie pack so far, I'm just about done convincing myself the Deus Ex collection and Alpha Protocol are worth it as well.

Alpha Protocol, like Civ 5, is regionlocked and not available in Japan. Fury.

Bitterness aside, I got HL2 and Deus Ex packs so far. Own both, but eh. I figure someone must want it, and it appeals to my random stuff-giving side.

Deus Ex Collection because my original is dead. Of Deus Ex 1 that is. Really need to try Deus Ex 2.

And I wonder if I should get Borderlands. Is it really good? I mean, the style looks nice and funny but I have recieved mixed reception on that game and there is not even a demo :(

HL2, got ten copies. Want one?

As above. Deus Ex. PM me (I'm forgetful) with your steam name if you'd like a copy.

Aww, why do they always have sales when I have no money? :(
This. I am just hoping all that I can that Valve will choose me for their giveaway thing so i can get some games. Then I have more money to spend on the others at christmas.
Both of you, see above. Deus Ex/HL2 can probably be arranged depending on demand. If that's the game you had in mind, anyway. If not, sorry, can't help you.

Sometimes I am glad I do not have a gaming capable computer. Think of all the money I am saving! Ah, who am I kidding. It sucks having not having a gaming-capable computer and these sales only make me sadder. *sobs*
I don't know about HL2, but Deus Ex would probably run on a mud brick without any issues.

Likewise. Don't know your specs, so even on low settings, HL2 may have problems. Deus Ex? Highly unlikely.

In short: Deus Ex will run on just about any computer, it's hardly new.

PM me with your steam name and game request if you want Deus Ex (or, in light of the plot, Dan Brown: The Game) or HL2, and I'll see what I can do. Sorry about that huge mess of quoting.

The problem I have here is that every game I'd possibly want, I already own (except Civ5, which I'm picking up later, probably over the wintertime.)

So my wishlist is games I kinda want but wouldn't actually spend my own money on. Nice, but not a game-changer.

Mine has a lot of pre-releases in it, like The Witcher 2 for instance.

I stuck The Witcher 2 on mine even though I didn't particularly like The Witcher 1. Like I said, slim pickings for the gamer who has everything (not that I'm complaining about being able to afford everything I want!)

@Cogwheel Thanks for the offer, but unfortunately, no. Neither are the ones I'm out for.
Can't wait for the Christmas Sale. Hopefully they'll put Front Mission Evolved on sale.

Just added Witcher 2 to my own wishlist. Right at the end of chapter 2 of the first game. I will beat it goddamn it. I'm really looking forward to the sequel. I hope they added a fast travel button, because that is what is killing me about the first game. The story and gameplay are all nice but I really hate walking from area to area and being restricted to teleporting at places of power.

Gave in and bought the Deus Ex collection. If I end up not liking it five dollars isn't going to hurt too much.
