Whenever I open the door in an empty house/apartment/hallway/bathroom, I do it slowly and put my dominant hand in first as if I were holding a gun, ala Leon in RE4.

I get nervous whenever I'm on the bridges in St. Louis and I see/hear ANG F-15s flying overhead.

I have to fight the urge to go Operation: Snake Eater during airsoft games in the woods.

I find moving closer to large round objects to be very unnerving.

I tend to consider tests and final exams as boss levels. So occasionally I'll say "I beat the test" when I mean "I finished the test."

I played Battlefield Heroes for such a long time, and got so used to firing at enemies in the distance that when I was walking around outside and saw people off in the distance, my first instinct was to start clicking the mouse to shoot... That's probably REAALLLY bad. I stopped playing for a while after that.

I also hear this, but when I finish something. So every time I'm done with something I feel special for getting an achievement.

EDIT: Sorry I'm new at this. Ment to quote Sh0ckFyre.

I got so used to killing and wrecklessly driving in GTA4 that I went on a high speed chase after a school shooting and blamed my videogames for teaching me their bad ways. TAKE THAT JACK THOMPSOM.

O.T. I always find myself singing some game song in my head because i listened to it so much.

Or I'll be in the passenger seat of my moms car (im only 14) and i find myself psuhing the "brakes" and the "accelerator" when we go around corners.

... No, actually. I'm good at seperating fantasy from reality.

When I dream, though, that's a completely different story.
same here but one time after a all night session of FEAR i went to my friends house and the hallway was pitched black and his little sister was walking towards me i screamed ALMA!!!! and run as fast as i could back to my house

Has something in gaming ever been repeated so much that it's become etched into your brain? Something that you're so used to that it becomes sort of a habit?

For me, I was so used to finding bobby pins in Fallout 3 to pick locks with that sometimes in real life I'll notice a couple of bobby pins sitting around and my first instinct is to pick them up so I can pick locks.
Yeah, that happened to me too.

well... i ussed to imagine bars of mood going up or down on peoples head according to the situation (like in the sims 2) much funny in a party and when there are groups of people telling jokes and some are amused while others not

also... i have this nagging feeling when i´m watching an old action movie where they don´t reload i keep thinking "reload damn it, clip almost out oooh! head shot!!" or something like that...

and one time i was driving on my car when in the radio a song that i used to listen on GTA San Andreas while doing drive by´s started playing... i had this nagging feeling that i had to run over people in the sidewalk :p hehehe (it didn´t helpted that i was late for work)

Whenever I'm killed by grenades I get a message saying I was killed by a grenade and I should watch out for the grenade danger indicator.

Oh right and I do a lot of photoshop and video editing, so from time to time I ask myself stupid stuff like:
I wonder how much fps life goes by at.
Or; gee, that looks pixelated. And then find myself looking for a mouse icon to smooth it out. Never found one though.

After a long time of playing monster hunter freedom unite, i started randomly hearing the pokke village theme in my head and i thought.. i should go ask the blacksmith to make me a new sword. Once i mindlessly wandered around my local supermarket looking for a blacksmith instead of buying the usual eggs, milk, cheese, and a lobster.I had a really bad headache and couldn't think straight, so im not crazy.

Them music. I once played Disgaea so much that, after I turned it off, I started doing other things... and had the Hub World music CONSTANTLY playing.

I usually keep things in my head, but my fingers will start spazzing out in motion with whatever I'm thinking of... makes things awkward once I realize what's going on.
