I'll tell you about beauty. One when I was younger I was walking outside at around 21:00 and then I decided to lie down in the snow, for you see it was winter. And the suddenly these really bright northern lights popped up.It almost brought a tear to my eyes.

One of my absolute favourites when it comes to beauty is when I a couple of years ago climbed up a small mountain around 00.30, in the north of Sweden, on the night the sun stood the highest. Apparently it's supposed to be possible to see the midnight sun there (it's just the right altitude for it to be possible) but it wasn't. someone had forgot to mention there was another mountain in the way.

Anyway, up there was the most beautiful view I've ever seen, when looking out over the lake a few hundred meters below, and the odd light...

I adore the night time. I feel so relaxed and calm at night. I can lay outside and just look up at the sky and be at peace. Also the ability to create new things and think of new ideas. It happens every day in this world. It can be art, music games or even a new life. This happens will keep going even after Earth is gone. Life and time move on even after we're gone and are nothing more then a blip in history.

That's a ridiculous claim. Your concept of ideal behaviour is just as subjective as his concept of beauty.
it's not a claim. it is an opinion, with all its subjective merits.
There were no uncertain terms, so it doesn't read as though you're putting forth an opinion, it reads as though you're stating a fact.

Anyway, you didn't contribute anything to the thread, you just dumped on it. That's the only reason I called you out.

*cough* gay *cough*

seriously though yeah ive had those moments too. In music festival everyone getting along, now fights, no hate, people sharing drink and smokes, jumping madly to a band with complete randomers, it seems unreal. But i guess thats cause im so used to hearing and seeing bad news most of the time. Nothing is more beautiful than people uniting just for fun and putting aside all differences. awesomecakes

I am in the most happy state of mind when listening to Steve Vai.

Him with an orchestra... I won't cry, I won't cry...

Other than music, my best friend always restores my faith in humanity. Doesn't matter if I'm not her best friend, she just makes me smile whenever I'm with her. :)

What do I love about life?
I'm going to be cheap.

I love the person who has been there for me all these cruel years the one who has loved me back but I can't love him.
Also I do like money :D nothing more sweet in this world then money, and scotch....And australians.

I find so many things beautiful. The most recent example would be...well, right now actually. It's rather stunning outside. If I ignore the shitty looking houses for a second, I see all the trees in fresh, new green colours rustling softly in the wind. The clouds are magnificent against the bright blue sky.

Yesterday night was fantastic too. The wind was away from the freeway, so it's sound were muffled and barely hearable. Instead you could hear the wind blowing through the trees, you could smell the sweet spring air, but the best of all was the absolutely stunning night sky, the best I've seen in a long long time.

But that's far from all of course, I find beauty in many things:
- A big city's skyline at night.
- Nature as a whole (from bombastic, breathtaking views as seen in Planet Earth, or just a simple meadow on a summer's afternoon)
- The smile, eyes, well everything a certain somebody. Shame I almost never see her.
- Love, even though it hurts me more than anything.
- Architecture
- History in the flesh; think ancient rock paintings. The feeling to be able to touch something humans made so long ago that you just cannot phantom it is just indescribable.
- Music
- Humanity's good qualities; ingenuity, bravery, resilience, that sort of thing.

And I can keep going on like that for a while. Also, here's my musical contribution:

ah yes, the subjective beauty of a universe filled with atoms in vast and different multitudes.

i keep wondering why people ask for the opinion of others here, as if they mattered.
It's far more curious that given that attitude, you also decided to make a post here as if it mattered.

The art work of Yoshitaki Amano.

Don't recognize it? This might give you a hint:

Yoshitaki Amano designed all the characters and environments for the first six Final Fantasy. When they switched to 3D, Tetsuya Nomura's manga-style was deemed easier to model in 3D, so that's why FF7 look so different. But Amano still does all logo designs, and he still gave his own perspective on the characters.

I was walking a 60 km route and was starting to die a little from exhaustion since I had been walking for 8 hours, so I took my bag off to sit on, and when I looked up this amazing view hit me straight in the face. A big, no, huge, field of grain with a small "island" of trees in the middle, and everything was painted in orange and blue. I just wanted to stay there forever, it was so calming and relaxing there.

call me out all you want, see if it changes anything. if it was a fact or claim, i would have supplied proof. i see that's not the norm around here, but what can you expect from people interested in other people's opinions?

i only spend the least amount of energy on gambling. there are diamonds in the rough where ever you look, it's just a question about finding them.

I live in Michigan near...Lake Michigan of course.
We have a bluff and sand dunes that stretch the entire coastline. Amazing view. If you look hard enough, you can actually see Chicago.
It's a shame their using the land for building. Damn Chicago people building condos everywhere!
CURSE YOU!!!!!
