Watching the new ZP (Particularly where Yahtzee talks about chainsaws being more prominently used on zombies than trees) made me realize that I had completely put it out of my mind that chainsaws are supposed to be used on trees in the first place.

I'm not saying I forgot what they were made for I'm saying that in the wake of all the zombie/serial killer games/movies out there I don't associate them with what they were made for.

Anybody have something that they know exists for one purpose but has now been more associated with another?

I forgot that shotguns were used for hunting things that aren't zombies.

I just can't trust the egg whisks. Never have, never will. I almost lost a leg to an evil egg whisk...

Anyway, on topic. I'd forgotten that guns aren't just used for shooting people... oh, wait. No, scratch that :D. I'd forgotten that doors are not there to be picked open for me to steal whatever is beyond said door. Damn RPGs...
