Ok while we shouldn't have a Alice Liddell statue (who inspired Alice in Wonderland) but she did spend her holidays over here. I suppose the closest thing was an Alice in Wonderland shop but that close down years ago.

Bristol...Blackbeard?

Pirates and Darth Vader, I think there is a Darth Vader statue somewhere down by the docks...

There isn't much else of note, maybe Massive Attack. How about a feotus statue in their honour?

My hometown has... uh, A Walmart.

What now fools?!

So, I guess we should have a statue of the founder of Walmart. Walmart wasn't founded in my town, but we have the only one in our vicinity.

Or maybe we should have a statue of a donut, because we have like a bajillion donut shops.

Yeah, my town isn't really home to anyone notable.

We already have one of King Alfred due to the whole Ex capitol thing. I think we need one of Yatzee seeing as out cathedrel was referenced by him.

Plenty of real people; Marlon Brando, Fred Astaire, Warren Buffet, Chip Davis, Henry and Peter Fonda, Malcom Little and Gerald Ford were born here.

The only fictional characters from our town I can think of are... umm Penny from big bang theory... and

BROCK MOTHERFUCKING SAMSON.

What does your town DESERVE as a statue?

(If you already have one, what other one should you have?)

It's not my hometown, but my mother teaches in Rome, Georgia. In their town quare, they have a statue of Romulus and Remus, that was sent by Benito Mussolini. Yeah.

And, at town meetings, they put diapers on it.

NOBODY OF IMPORTANCE!

All we have is the statue of some guy from the revolution.

There seems to be a lot of figures of importance, but the three I'd choose are:

Sean Connery - James Bond.
James Hutton - Basically 'invented' Geology as a science.
Alexander Graham - Credited with the invention of the telephone (he has the patent) and set the world marine speed record in his time.

But a couple with statues I know of are, John Hume and Sherlock Holmes.
