Welcome to The Escapist! Glad you've decided to join the site; I don't think you'll be disappointed. And, if you loved March Mayhem, keep an eye out because we've always got fun new events, contests and prizes and badges of all sorts.

I'm one of The Escapist's community managers so feel free to PM me if you ever have any questions and friend me because, well, friends are fun.

Hopefully I'll see more of all you in the future.

This thread represents like.. 5 or 6 out of about what, 4000 or so?

Not that I am saying anything about those other 4000, I am saying something about you 5 or 6. Welcome!

Welcome all Turbine supporters! Now, I will direct you to the special Turbine ghetto we have constructed for you. You will receive a ration of 3 posts every day, not to exceed 50 characters, as well as...

Just kidding :D Seriously, welcome! Glad to have you.
You forgot having a Turbine logo sewn onto their clothes, and carrying work game playing papers.

On a less offensive and Godwinny note, maybe there's finally a big enough D&D population here to form a forum organization, particularly 3E focused. That's something that can bring BioWare and Turbine fans together, right?
Should be!

CURSE YOU TURBINE SUPPORTERS >.<

steam shoulda won :(

haha :)
Maybe if they had treated their customers like Turbine does, they might've won.
What does Turbine do that's better (In treating their customers)? I've had the same experience with both companies in how they treat me. (Which was excellent)

The difference is, I prefer my Half Life and Team Fortress to LoTRO.
Then how will you explain games for $50 that cost 50 EUR in Europe? Even in countries that not only don't use EUR yet, but aren't in the European Union?

Rather upset that a sub-par MMO making company beat out Nintendo, Bioware and Valve, but whatever, whats done is done. Welcome to the Escapist, chances are your brain will deteriorate at a faster rate.

1. That doesn't mean they are fair.

2. Constantly ignoring customers for 4 months?

3. If a game is no longer sold in any shop I've seen (for example, even though I have 2 copies of Beyond Good and Evil, one was pre-ordered for full price, the other was off Steam), I am forced. Or to pirate the game, and that's what they want, I think.

4. Are they idiots or what? People noticed that their games are much more expensive and are boycotting.

I'm surprised.
I was almost positive this would be a thread with an OP raging about how much he hates turbine, and how they cheated and are trolls.
Pleasant Surprise.

Welcome All

Personally, I wanted Bandai to win.

No prizes for guessing why.

But if you see a Vault boy to the left, then you are forgiven, and please wait a few minutes

Welcome and enjoy your stay here. And remember, when posting new topics, the search button is your friend.
There's always one guy on a thread who has a witty way to present and old topic that relates to the current one. I love it!

Welcome to the new additions who are planning to stay. I don't post as much as I read, but I've been around quite a long time and keep coming here daily because there's a lot higher signal to noise ratio. Hope you help contribute to doing that....

But I fully plan on helping topple Turbine from the top next year.

You could have bought beyond good and evil PC version from Amazon there for you are not forced to buy it from Steam.

You shan't mention the word Turbine around me. Not after what they did to my precious Valve...
