Now I have been an escapist member for a few years now, and I use to be a pretty active member here for quite some time. Now I'm not only come on from time to time. When I was first brought here I came here during the time escapist had a whole bunch of different series going on like: apocalypse lane, unforgotten realms, and my favourite internet series of all time, Doomsday Arcade. Though these series have been long time finished, I still have a gapping whole left from when I use to look forward to and enjoy these series. Now they're gone and other series I have enjoyed since than have been short lived, and the only videos the escapist has anymore, are review vids. It also has loadingreadyrun which i enjoy fairly casually, but I keep on hoping that I will log on one day and find a new and interesting series.
So do you guys feel the same?
Give me your opinion if you have the time.

I miss Drinking Games and Top 5 with Lisa Foiles.

I never really got into any of the other video series, save Zero Punctuation and the occasional Escape to the Movies.

Top 5 with Lisa Foiles was one of my favourites. Actually it was the only series I watched every week here for awhile other than Zero Punctuation, before I started viewing Extra Credits episodes. It was pretty silly, but very entertaining for me. Plus it introduced me to the Monkey Island games.

I'd say Extra Credits as well, but since they're still going strong on a different site, I don't have to miss them. :p

I miss Top 5 with Lisa Foiles and Doraleous & Associates.

Those were both hilarious in their own way.

Doomsday Arcade was brilliant and I'm really surprised I haven't seen anything else from those guys.

I liked all the series here that had a continuing story. There isn't any series here that is animated or has a story in it now. =(

I loved Unforgotten Realms, Doralious & Associates, Apocalypse Lane and Doomsday Arcade.

At the moment I only watch Zero Punctuation, Jimquisition, the Big Picture and Escape to the Movies. It's either a review or someone talking about a certain subject nowadays, not nearly as interesting as before.

Frankly, I miss Extra Credits. Once they left I stopped watching it and I thought the series had died. Apparently I'm wrong. Then again, I completely missed out on the last few months of the show so I never fully understood why they left anyway.

Like others I miss Top 5 with Lisa Foiles, really enjoyed it. I do miss Extra Credits being here but if I care enough to watch it I can always go to Penny Arcade.

The only ones I can think of is Top 5 and Doomsday Arcade. Escapist has had a lot of crappy shows.

Drinking games and Extra Credits (I know they're still around, but its not the same). Honestly I haven't watch a ton of shows; it wasn't until a year or two ago that I started watching non-zp shows.

Drinking Games is the only Escapist show that was running after I joined and ended. It was pretty funny at some points. I wont count Extra Credits because it still exists.

My friend showed me the old episodes of Unforgotten Realms, and that's pretty awesome.

While we're on the subject, are there any shows Dan is featured in a lot besides No Right Answer?

Lisa Foiles, definitely. She still does a variety of stuff but her cheeky fun videos were a nice counterpoint to some of the other Escapist content.

Extra Credits. Sure, they still exist but their content fit absolutely perfectly here and always generated a lot of interesting discussion that has definitely disappeared along with them. It wasn't just another weekly faux angry faux cynical nerd rant.

Rebecca Mayes. She did some really cool stuff but, while I miss her videos, I'm also sort of glad she's gone. Partially because the demands of constant content seemed to have her in a creative rut, but perhaps even more because she seemed to be falling out of love with the medium anyways. She went from fun but cynical tracks that praised games as often as shunned them to a biweekly musical rant about how terrible games were.

I really liked There Will Be Brawl. I know it ended because it was done storyline wise, but I'd like to see Mercer do another show.

Its a shame to see some of the series go, but for all the people missing Unforgotten Realms the series is still ongoing (technically). I linked it below, but fair warning that episodes come out really slow, like really, really slow.

Go to the right side and click the + beside Unforgotten Realms.

Well, there was that one series... with the dogs... that worked in a break room...

But I think we're all supposed to hate that one.

Lisa Foiles (but only during her more natural days. The blonde thing did not work)

And Ill likely be the only one, but So I hit it with my Axe was a personal favorite. I mean cmon, D&D with porn stars and strippers, whats not to love?

Well, if you're looking for a new, inspiring video series, the Escapist's Film Festival is coming up. Maybe there'll be a new gem in there...

Doomsday Arcade was quite good, although it seemed to run out of steam at the end. The Dicemaster was absolutely brilliant.

Top 5 with Lisa Foiles was a complete and utter waste of bandwidth. (Actually, that may not be entirely fair. When she wasn't doing the extremely tired top-5 schtick and instead interacting with other people (crew members, her "roommates," etc.), it was vaguely engaging.)

Others:

Rebecca Mayes Muses: I came to this late, and found it rather uneven. Seems to have been largely replaced by Miracle of Sound.

Daily Drop: Wonderful in its simplicity.

ENN: Now morphed into Checkpoint, with a far more obnoxious video player.

I Hit It with My Axe: Was interesting/novel for about three episodes, and then kinda fell flat.
