I miss Top 5 with Lisa Foyles and Doraleous and Associates the most. I also miss Extra Creditz but they are on PA now so that's cool. I only watch Yahtzee and Moviebob nowadays.

I miss extra credits and before you ask yes I do know they're still going but I don't like their newer stuff compared to the stuff they did for the escapist.

I never watch the content anymore. I haven't seen Zero Punctuation in months now.

Then again, I completely missed out on the last few months of the show so I never fully understood why they left anyway.
Huge debacscandal almost exactly a year ago now. Art director broke her arm, EC asked Escapist for money to pay for surgery (because of the recession Escapist wasn't paying a lot of people, which is why a lot of shows got axed; EC stayed because it was practically taking IOUs as payment), Escapist wouldn't pay up, EC left for YouTube, Escapist eventually pulled the video archive off of the site around half a year later.

Well, i really did love Doomsday Arcade (in fact, I´m pretty sure it was my all time favourite escapist show), I was quite sad when there were no more episodes to see.
Of course, i miss Extra Credits, but episodes by them can be seen on other web pages, so that`s more or less okay.
And Doraleous and Associates. Oh god, it was such a brilliant, hilarious show. Laughed so much when watching it. I just really hope there will be a next season of that, be it on the Escapist or on Machinima. But the guys who did D&A did some other pretty funny stuff, too.

I miss Extra Credits but I still keep up with them on their new site, just wish they were still here :p

Also Lisa Foiles. Show wasn't THAT engaging but slightly entertaining and quite a piece of eye candy I must admit.

Now I have been an escapist member for a few years now, and I use to be a pretty active member here for quite some time. Now I'm not only come on from time to time. When I was first brought here I came here during the time escapist had a whole bunch of different series going on like: apocalypse lane, unforgotten realms, and my favourite internet series of all time, Doomsday Arcade. Though these series have been long time finished, I still have a gapping whole left from when I use to look forward to and enjoy these series. Now they're gone and other series I have enjoyed since than have been short lived, and the only videos the escapist has anymore, are review vids. It also has loadingreadyrun which i enjoy fairly casually, but I keep on hoping that I will log on one day and find a new and interesting series.
So do you guys feel the same?
Give me your opinion if you have the time.
Yeah I miss a lot of the old shows too. No Right Answer seems like it could be good, but I always feel like they skip over MAJOR points in their arguments. But yeah I could do with some of the older comedies and stuff. I'm just going to do an info dump right now of some shows that were on here and some that were not.

Unforgotten Realms is still going on: http://urealms.com/
Extra Credits is still going on: http://www.penny-arcade.com/patv/show/extra-credits
Not sure if you only watch webshows here, but Felicia Day has a channel on youtube with a lot of different shows: http://www.youtube.com/user/geekandsundry
I also like Freddie Wong if you haven't seen any of his stuff. His youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/freddiew and his external site: http://www.rocketjump.com Give his show VGHS a try. Also Lan Party looks like it could be fun.

Those were both hilarious in their own way.

Doomsday Arcade was brilliant and I'm really surprised I haven't seen anything else from those guys.
D&A is doing crowd funding for an independent comeback :D

Need mo escapist series running though.

I've been here for a large majority of the video series and have watched those that came before and I miss nearly all of 'em D:

Don't want to see again:
- Hit it with my Axe. I've never been a fan of watching people play DnD and I found most of the guests were really annoying.
- Game Dogs. Didn't find it funny myself, I saw why some people enjoued it but it wasn't for me.
- Drinking Game. Wait before you burn me alive, I didn't mind watching if I was drunk with my friends, but since I'm younger than the drinking age this doesn't happen that often. While sober I found them a tad dull.

What I think the escapist is lacking at the moment is a series either comical, (UnforgottenRealms, Apocalypse Lane) or serious suck as (There will be Brawl). I know we have Space Janitors (or is it done?) but the main story comes out so irregularly I just don't fine myself looking forward to each episode, like I did with so many older shows...

We need a serious, regular series like the epic that was There Will Be Brawl.

Seriously, why did you kill Red? He only wanted to be the very best, that no one ever was...

I haven't been here long enough to miss anything, but I've seen a lot of old shows, and I really liked ENN and Drinking Games. I also liked There Will be Brawl and Doomsday Arcade, but those shows have run their course.

I remember it going like this:

EC = Extra Credits, TE = The Escapist

EC: (Sadly) Hand broke. Need money.
TE: (Also sadly) We're sorry, but not have money.
TE: (Brightening up) Do have lots of readers who might give you money?
Later, after fundraising
EC: (High fives all round) WOO WE HAVE LOTS OF MONEY
TE: (Joining in high fives) Sweet! Can we have some of the excess?
EC: Nope. We're using it for a project. You get nothing.

Okay, I should say Extra Credits too, but let's just face it...the Escapist wasn't the best environment for them. No, not because of the users. There's a ton of people here who liked EC and an amount of them left when they did. Everyone around at the time of EC's departure KNOWS why that happened...

...but MODesty forbids the actual talking about it, I'm sure.

(Oh, and yeah I'm aware that UR still has a place of its own and updates, and that they left the site for...about the same reasons as EC, but I really did like those guys here.)
It's pretty tragic if a site refuses to allow users to criticise it, though admittedly it's been way too long to bother dredging that up again.

O.T: De-Rez were pretty fun. I loved their Yahtzee marathon video and the one TF2 one that ended with that great "No one expects the Yellow Team!" line.

Unforgotten Realms were hilarious although, as someone already mentioned, the incredibly large gaps between episodes have stopped an urge to follow them elsewhere.

...Cheesy as it was, I still enjoyed Top 5 with Lisa Foiles.

And of course, Extra Credits. I still watch their videos when they're out. I've always found them informative and uplifting.

Apocalypse lane & unforgotten realms were amazing. I also liked there will be brawl. Anyone remember that?

The current shows are pretty good, but I do miss ones that had narratives.

I kinda miss Drinking Games (Why did they leave again?) and Extra Credits but that's about it.
The rest of the videos I like are still on the Escapist; Zero Punctuation, Loading Ready Run, Unskippable and the occasional Escape to The Movies. Plus we got a few new ones which I like with No Right Answer and Miracle of Sound!

Doomsday Arcade and Unforgotten Realms are the only shows I miss.

Although maybe it's best they finished before they jumped the shark.
