Tons of childhood memories coming to life with this forum. I love it. Okay I got one for ya. I feel like it was a ps1 or sega Dreamcast game. It was a sorta rpg/kill everything in the level kinda game. Had an overhead veiw kinda scroller type. I remember as soon as you start a new game you walk forward and there a bunch of different colored locked worlds on this bridge. Kinda rmemeber a large gate on this bridge? Anyways there was only one color world you can walk onto and enter. After you beat it another would unlock on the bridge. I think u could choose between like a sword guy or magic or ranger. First level or two you walk into like a lower level and have to fight a bunch of creatures. Then hit a switch to activate to move to the right. That's all I remember. Edit. It might not be a bridge I now feel like you start out in a castle and walk to the balcony that has the world's needing to be unlocked.
Gauntlet Legends [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GD3rPUdt2CU], maybe?

(Mind, the version in the video is the N64's but it was on both Dreamcast and PS1 as well).

1 Game:

I've been looking for this game for years.I think it came out at around 2005, I used to own a disc of the Demo. You start off in some abandoned theater building or something and I think your main weapons were sawed off shotguns. You are killing bunch of vampires/zombies (can't really remember which one, but I think it was vampires) and you had an ability that you could activate once in a while when it's available. When you activate it you turn into a badass monster/vampire/zombie type thing that has 2 blades/reavers instead of arms and you are basically immortal and are dominating everything you see during the time you are that monster. Then after a few seconds you transform back into human with guns. I am really looking forward to finding out this game's name, it bring back a lot of good childhood memories.

Ok,I've spent the last hour at work trying to figure this one out.

I played it in the early/mid 90's. I'm fairly confident that it was through DOS, maybe Win3.1. It was a space flight sim/combat game. I think it was polygonal (maybe not the cockpit). There were a variety of different ships you could fly. One of the missions involved flying into a portal of some sort with a probe ship. The cutscenes were really goofy 3d, the one I remember in particular involved a pyramid, a human wearing a pharaonic headdress and some sort of futuristic jockstrap looking thing. Any help would be super appreciated. I think a copy is still at my parent's place but don't want to bank on it.

I remember playing this game about 10 years ago.
it was a third person game for mac.
you could choose a different avatar to play as; both female and male.
there would be zombies and spiders to kill big muscle men to kill.
there were portals to get to different parts of the levels.
there were a number of weapons to choose from.
i remember distinctively using the flamethrower a lot.
you had to destroy the machines that kept generating all the monsters.
i can't remember if you had to find something or just get through to the other side of the level to finish the level.

Hmmm...that could be quite a lot of games. Is it Age of Mythology or Populous: The Beginning?
Hmm well you could not freeze the time and still use god powers or set constructions in those games. I think this game came after AoM! I am not sure. The graphics were quite good as well. But thanks anyway!

I remember a game when you would be a turtle I think of some sort and you would go under water and find some stuff. I think it had odissey in it, but I can't remember exactly.

Also I used to play a game with elephants in which you would have to shoot some things coming from the side. Both of them were early 2000s I think.

OK me and my mate have been tearing our hair out over this one. Its an old game we used to play on PC. From what i recall the start of the game is set in a garden and your protagonist is super small though i can't remember for the life of me what the protagonist looks like... One aspect i certainly remember is the objective. You have to find and destroy hatch-lings and eggs laid by an evil bird. The more you advanced through the levels the more hatched the chicks became. They would release their legs so the eggs appeared to be walking and you would have to chase them. The only boss fight i can remember is against the giant bird that lays the eggs. You fight it in its nest which i think is an the top of a skyscraper or an antenna. The bird attacks you by shooting eggs from its behind.

-Sometime between 2000-2005
-Third or second person
-I only recall it being on PC

This is about all i can remember from the game. I know it's not much to go on but it would mean the world to me and my mate if somebody could identify this game. I'm sure it's probably an average game but it's sentimental value is priceless.. please help!

Hello Escapists!
I'm looking for a small game that I played on WinXP back in elementary. I'm 22 now if that give you a better time period. All that I can remember about it is that I played as someone with an afro, and the point of the game was to time your jumps correctly so you could gain more height and thus more points. I also recall that every 100 or 1000 floors the theme of the area would change. The title might have included some form of the word funk in it as that word seemed to come to mind when I was thinking of how to describe it in the Google search bar.

Well, after an hour of searching, I'm calling it quits. Here's what I remember.

The only things I can recall are that it's a Lemmings-like clone, except it was with fish trying to escape from a lab. There was a large amount of power ups, including a snorkel that allowed them to leave the water at certain points to walk across land for a brief time. I know it was pretty old, thinking Amiga or MS DOS, but I cannot find any evidence of it existing. I think the name was a pun as well, but again I haven't had any joy with it.

Good luck lads. You're going to need it.

Hi there! I remember a game on AddictingGames.com where you play as a princess or a woman whose prince or husband was kidnapped by a witch. Every level or two, you'd find a piece of armor, and the weapon you had on the first level was a knife. I really wanna play this game again and i would be so glad if you found it!!!! Please reply! -Andrew

So, I've posted about this before but I'm still looking for this game, please help:

I remember it being a DOS game; it starts with a sailing boat, which docks on a small beach/alcove with a path that leads up a (EDIT:) cliff to the left. I believe you start standing on the dock, as a warrior wearing blue clothes or armor (I definitely remember blue, could also be the colour of the boats sail)

*You could go into the water where there were fish that would attack you
*I remember it being very dark, not just in style, but I believe it was night
*I think you collect items, like potions, but I don't remember if it had RPG mechanics
*What I played was most likely a demo, as I had quite a few PC demos at the time

I have not found this game anywhere on this thread, and I have been looking online for a very long time, please help!

Icy Tower (2001), maybe? One of the characters had an afro.

Edit: Called it. For some reason, Icy Tower was a common school game. Used to be played in my school too.
