There was this game I used to play back in the 90s, about a camp which apparently a dog was the owner. The objective was to accomplish several "camp tasks", like a run to the lake or fire pit stories.

A particular level of the game was one of those fire pit stories, where you were given a story with blank spaces, where you were able to fill them with things like "ice cream sandwich" or so, and then a NPC would read your story...

The loading screen of the game was an apple, similar to the Apple logo.

Alright, made an account for this thread. Currently in the process of reading through the absurd backlog but I'm not having luck, haha.

I have vague but persistent memories of a windows 98 or 95 game I played as a kid. probably sometime between '96 and '02. I don't remember there being any overarching objective, but there was a central hub with a number of math or word games you could click to. I'm pretty sure the person explaining things to you was a girl with long hair. The game I remember most vividly, I'm not sure if it had objectives, but it was a geometric coloring game, like stained glass, I think. You clicked on something on the left side of the screen to get to the game.

There might have been a dragon somewhere, and it may have been in a castle, but I also might be conflating that game's and another's (RR 2nd grade) aesthetic. Everything was cartoon/2D, but the colors weren't super bright? If anyone has any sort of recollection of this game, it'd be really validating to know b/c nobody I talk to has any idea what it was. Thanks in advance!

Math Workshop is exactly it! Thank you so much! I kept getting hung up on the "math blaster" series because the name was so similar, but nothing looked right. Also I knew there was something about bowling but ended up doubting my memory too much to mention it. You're a lifesaver, for real.

(also funny thing is I was also looking for doctor brain ages ago, but ended up finding it in my search for math workshop lmao)

Hello
I remember playing a 2D PLATFORMER, just like Super Mario, it was for the PC, but the player was controlling an ONION (or a little drop, maybe), lavender colored. The levels were long and the bosses were very difficult to win. Please someone help me :(

Another game I can't remember was a 2D PLATFORMER too, something ispired from Super Mario, for PC, the player was a kid with a red (I'm not sure at all) cap, and the background of the levels were mostly all of a beach, the terrain was mostly blue squares, and sometimes you had to walljump to get higher (special squares for that), the name included something like "summer" or "summit" :(((

Please help >.<

Hi guys,

I am looking for two games. I played both about 10 years ago on PC, so probably Windows 98 or XP (we skipped all versions in between these two).

First of them was a brick breaker game, but is was very specific in having many power ups like fireball, metal ball and so on. I remember very specificaly one power up named Sputnik that added another ball orbiting the original one.

The other game was 2D platform jumper, multiplayer (on one PC). You played as a builder on some sort of skyscraper and your job was to build short sections of walls (on the background) and you had to build more of them than other player. At some point you could grab hammer and smash other player's walls. And at some point some gangsters on motorbikes showed up and attacked both of you.

Does anyone know what they might be?

Hi Everyone

What an amazing thread! I was scrolling through it and feeling delighted. Now here I go, lets see if someone finds out:

First person action adventure kind of jump'n'run, windows 95 in a 3D maze-cave area. I only played a Demo so I don't know how this game starts but basically you are inside a huge Temple or Aztek/Egyptian kind of Maze/cave. You somehow have to find maybe the exit or a treaure. In order to do that, you were jumping and running grabbing on Ropes, jumping over rocks and eventually there were enemies I think you could fist fight them. The game made me a bit dizzy sometimes due to its moving and jumping holding ropes in first person.

Anyone has a clue? Cheers lads

Pretty much everybody would suggest to look at "Montezuma's Return!" (1998), I guess.

Still bumping this in hope someone knows what i'm looking for

Hello guys,
I'm also looking for an old PC game I just can't find.
I remember playing a game about 10 years ago. In this game you would be flying an aircraft in 3D shooting lazers and destroying enemy aicraft and bases (radars, hangars, .. ) and crystals would come out of destroyed enemies. You would collect these crystals and upgrade your lazers, adding more guns, etc based on the order and color of collected crystals.
You could also shoot the landscape basically making holes and ditches in mountains.
You would start each mission on a mothership and have to land back in it to end the mission.
Thanks!
the collecting crystals thing reminds me to

Starfighter 3000 (1996)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfj0MZKx2uY

of course, quite older...but check it out.
That's actually it. I guess i was playing it a long time after it actually came out.
Thank you so much!!

Hey guys ,

2nd game: I played on Windows 95 (so it's not a Dos game) on cd rom, it was imperative to insert the cd rom in order to start the game, the game is a pinball, and the year was before 2002. The game contains at least 3 different sorts of pinballs, the detail that marked me,there was some sort of super hero in a pinball, but it not a well know hero (so no Duke or Batman etc ...) I believe also remember the existence of a radioactive barrel in the scenery (nop that it was not Balls of Steel) I believe that the game launched in windowed mode, in colors I would say that it was a depth to 16-bit.

Thanks in advance
Perhaps Full Tilt! Pinball ( Maxis 1995) ?
No,it's not the right game,in my memory that pinball have some scrolling.

Hey guys!
I can't remember the name of a game i used to play at school on computers (i was 8 yo i think). I can't really remember all things but i know there was a damaged ship, a "young" boy and a bad guy with a long hat and red eyes (ghost like so he was "faceless") with a long black jacket. I think the point is to escape the ship and finding things to help the boy (point and click ?). It's a "horror" game, not scary but the mood was pretty creep.
I remember the bad guy had a minion with a striped T-shirt, and i remember that he was sleeping in one of the rooms and the boy had to pass this room without making any noise (there was a "trap" in the middle of the room)

That's all ... I already searched on google and some video games websites but i could not find it. Please help XD

Sorry for potato english !

old game either snes or genesis i do believe. could even be nes. i remember playing it as a small kid with my uncle. but you can play two players. your both pirates. you kill ghosts and other pirates. and other baddies. its a 2d sidescroller. you run from level to level on a ship killing things. one pirate is red one is green. you can upgrade your swords and get diff weapons and powerups. i just cant remember what its called and its been bugging me for years. (not pirates of darkwater either. or pirates gold. or pirates gold edition)

as i search google i might remember it could have been ninjas fighting pirates and ghosts on a pirate ship. you could also go from top level to bottom level on the sails and beams of the ship.
Skull & Crossbones (1990)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hU2kz_bitpc

NES game.
that looks kinda familiar but i dont think thats the one,its so hard to remember. but i think the graphics were more later genesis. i do believe the two player was splitscreen. but im gonna go play that one there lol looks cool
check out the arcade version

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=paIzUCauZyw

better graphics, there are no snes nor genesis versions of this game..maybe it was on another platform, DOS, Amiga, etc..
I haven't seen another game with pirates vs. ninjas!
it definitely wasnt arcade, cause i remember playing it at home. my uncle would bring over his genesis, super nes and we would play games. the game you mentioned seems familiar but just isnt hitting what i remember or can picture in my head. granted this was awhile ago so i may be remembering wrong. but i swear it was a red pirate a green pirate and they were 8bit looking. posible 16bit. i remember swords and a ship lol. and upgraded weapons. mentioned game has all that but just doesnt look right and the music is def not it. it was more of a spooky eerie kinda like castlevania esq mummy frankstien old movie sounding music. oh and it was much more faster paced playing then that one there. cause you could jump from sail to sail and deck to upper deck running around shooting and slashing at the monsters. was there a remake or clone or ripoff of mentioned game ? ... it could have also been ninjas im thinking of and you fought pirates and ghosts. but i do remember the very first level took place on a pirate ship.

Well I remember all my games mostly because I still have them so I can look on that rack right behind me and see what I forgot.

I can not for the life of me remember this one japanese movie though, it was about these kids who had to kill eachother on an island so that they could survive.

I was thinking eariler about all the games i used to play and one came to mind that i used to love, but i cannot for the life of me remember what it was so I wondered if anyone else gets this same memory issue and who knows Might end up finding some classics we forgot long ago.

My one is a PC game It was a car game of sorts driving around and arena leaving a coloured trail behind you and you killed other players by getting them to drive into the trail you leave behind. I think the cars and arena were mostly black (or at least the version i had was) and the trail and 'walls' coming from the cars were really bright colours depending on team etc. Like red, orange, green, blue.

Well there you go, What games have you forgotten, Hopefully we can rediscover old games we thought long lost!
From how you describe it, it sounds to me like that one flash game where everything is black except for you and any other pc controlled players you put in.

Edit: It's called BM Tron I found it on Coolmath4kids in spikes game zone. You can look it up if you like.

the movie your thinking of. is it battle royal ?

There was a game available through the old AOL dialup platform (think late 90's). You had a spaceship, and could look at a delivery order board. You could claim a delivery, and then you had to navigate to the pickup location for the cargo, and then get to the delivery location in a given period of time to get paid for the delivery. Given sufficient money, I think you could upgrade to a larger ship or build your own base or something. Ring any bells?

Sounds similar in some respects, but now that I think of it, the game I'm thinking of was in black-and-white.
