Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

I have one, it's been bugging me for years, the problem is my memory of it is incredibly vague and possibly some of it is dreamt up :/

What I remember:

A sidescroller, where you are in some sort of caves/tunnels. I very distinctly remember it being puzzle-like, you had to find objects like a levitation device and also some sort of key for a bridge... You go to the left or right end of the screen and it takes you to another part of the cave/tunnel etc any enemies are a blur, but what stands out (and this may be the part I dreamt) the image of a 'castle' with some kind of fire and guarded by I think Anubis-like creatures. I don't think it was a castlevania game as some have suggested.

Okay! So! There is this game I used to play all the time on Playstation when I was little. And for the life of me, I can't remember the name! All I can remember is that you were in a metal suit type thing and you had a jet pack and you had to go to the different isles to collect things, and there were also levels with boss's or whatever that you had to fight. I think your person was a fox looking thing? Not for certain. But please, if you can help me with the name at all, it would be much appreciated.

Hey there guys. I'm trying to remember a game I played long time ago. It had these two characters and it was RPG-ish. During daytime you would play with a guy with a sword and during nighttime your character was a vampire girl that had two blades in her hands slashing her enemies. They would eventually meet somehow and go to a castle. I'm sorry if this is really vague but I can't quite remember. Thank you in advance!

I can't for the life of me remember the name of a mobile game I used to play a lot.

It was a puzzle game. You would battle against computer opponents. The game itself was connect 5 of a kind by pushing whole lines or collumns. And the game was in space. The main trait of the game was that you have to match red blocks to attack with rockets, green blocks to get defensive powers, yellow to mess with other players (like jamming) and blue for buffing yourself.

Hey,

I remember playing a certain PC game but I can't remember its name. It was a sort-of cartoon-styled point and click mystery game based underwater. I remember there being some puzzles and sharks maybe? And it was replayable in a sense that everytime you played it, there were different items in different places and so on - so it wasn't that long, maybe made more for younger kids. It had a lot of dialogue. I also remember some parts being above water. The game was probably made around 1995-2002.

I also remember a part where you auctioned stuff across the world to an Elk named Tony from Montana, but I'm not sure it was the same game.. If that's not the case, the name of this game will be well appreciated as well!

hi im looking for a game , its from the 90s pc game. it is a written interactive game were you must write what you want the character . you start out side a house i think its haunted, and you have to find a way in. you must walk up to ther pumpkin pick it up , drop it then pick up the key. then through the lounge you go to the kitchen were you m,ust pick up the stake to feed the dogs down the celler stairs?? I am trying to find it but can not get a gist of how!!! Please help !

everything i can remember:

genre: platform
description: you controlled a guy that was a bit robot-like, but somewhat remembered me about a penguin. the most important thing: it had a neck that you used make it longer and longer at your will (sorry for my english) to grab/reach things
the game started outside a building, while snowing and you had to go inside several levels, collecting items while passing through them

On Windows or Dos (before Windows XP)
Prehistoric themed
It had some dinosaurs cave men and wizards
I remember some buildings green filds, forests and deserts.
Your units got leveled for kills or someting like that.

I remember playing Blood and Magic, Red alert 1 and Settlers but I am pretty sure they were released few years later to this game.

Awesome thread! Had a good trawl through, but all the ones I can answer have been answered..

So I recall a coin op arcade game in our local newsagents. Must have been 87-90 or thereabouts. 2D side on platformer where you played as either a young boy, a girl or a strong man. Each character had it's own strengths and weaknesses - eg there were certain gaps that the strong man couldn't get over as he couldn't jump as far. You could switch out between the different characters (possibly by collecting tokens to allow the swap?). It was all kinda swinging jumping falling dodging kind of action and hella fun.

Been evading me for 20 years this one...

Hi guys, From along time Im searching about 1D game that contain two little soldiers green and blue in a maze every one got a seat with two doors that just can be openers by him, in game play two players, fighting each other by a little gun, there is a small tanks in the maze too, the soldiers must collect bombs to open paths and must collect money to buy radar,guns,bombs and other. The soldiers can also collect items to make them faster or make them into stealth for some time, we can also put mines .

Someone please help! I remember playing this computer game when I was in elementary school so early to mid 90's. The main character was a troll, he was on a mountain and he had to collect keys, they were hidden and he had to find them all over. I can't really remember anything else about it..

Jesus, I found this thread because of another urge to find this game.
When I was 10-ish yrs old(20 now), a friend's sister came back from Japan and bought us PS1 games.

I remember this one adventure game where there is this old man(grandfather or father) and a young man(probably his son or grandson) on a jungle and they were wearing safari suits if I remember correctly, they explored the jungle and wildlife, they have a tent and you can enter it. I think the young man's the one you control and the old man just follows him, the young man has a wooden mallet(a huge one lol) and the old man can die when we were exploring so we had to be careful. I think there were dinosaurs in that game. Not sure. Aside from what I already said, there was a point where the old man became ill and you had to cure him.

That's all I could remember. It had a japanese title so I couldn't even remember a word on the title, I hope someone gives me justice >u<

I remember playing this game. It probably came out in 2001-2005 sometime, so u could play it on win xp. It might be a demo of an FPS. So this is what i remember.

First you started in space around some planet on a bigger ship then your team goes into a smaller one with a woman logo on it(somewhat like kappa logo but only one woman and I belive it was a red woman in a yellow circle). Then the ship took of on that planet and you were on the ship playing when it was flying to the planet. You could even mount the minigun on the side of a ship. I remember going past some towers, when finally landing. When you land and go off the ship the pilot flies off and you team is on a dessert like planet with palms. Then you shoot mainly robots. Then a 300 meters away there is like a bridge. When going around a bit I once stumbled upon some little blue robbots that attacked me.

Thats all i remember. I hope some of you guys know this game. Thx

Hello.

My name is Dusko, and i am writing from Ex Yugoslavia. In my childhood there was this arcade game that we children used to play on fun fair (every year when it used to come to our city), that i realy cant get out of my head, but at the same time i dont remember its name.

Hints: Its about little yellow creature, probably a duckling or a little chicken, where hes female match has been taken by a whale of some sort, and then that little duckling-o-chickenling hero is going on a quest to save hes beloved one, by having all kinds of adventures on some island (if i remember). I also remember that every now and then he has, what we used to call, boss fight with this ICY WHALE, where he eats our little hero and then he spits fire inside it avoiding drops of water of killing him, once he destroys that whale, he is free to go with hes chicken love. (or duckling love...i am not sure)



Please if someone can remember this games name, i would be grateful.

I've been looking for a game for years, if anyone could help me out I'd greatly appreciate it (I made an account just to ask).

Things I remember about the game (memory is kind of fuzzy, I'm now 19 and I played this around the time I was 6-8)

-Arcade System (like knobby d-pad [joystick?] and flat round slightly indented buttons.
-Fantasy setting.
-It had a storyline, but I don't remember much except for some guy in a blue or black robe standing in front of a blue crystal.
-There were selectable characters, and I believe one of them was a valkyrie or something akin to that. One had a spear and I think another shot lightning.
-Eyeball monsters.
-Horizontal Side Scrolling shooter.
-Up to two players.

I can't really remember anything else, but if anything else pops up I'll be sure to let everyone know.
