Hi I'm looking for 2 (possibly 1) game, from '95 or '98 on the PC, one was more of a collection of games such as pitfall and other games (I think mainly demos if I remember correctly) and in order to play the games you had to find them in a brief maze sort of thing, like you had a collection of games but they were set out in a ship or something, possibly at control panels.

The second game I am looking for may actually be one of the games the previous collection came with, you are flying a jet and all I really remember about it is that a boss (maybe the end boss) is a giant cobra, pretty sure I also remember pyramids too. I know this isn't much to go on but if someone can help me find what these are I would greatly appreciate it, it has been annoying me recently.

Something from before the turn of the millenium, a game about a boy wizard who has to do, something or other. It plays out as a 2D action-platformer where you shoot a lightningbolt at enemies. I recall one powerup that gave autofire.

Yes! and i think it was 2.5d because the models were 3d-ish. My mind is slipping though I can't remember anything else.

I don't remember the name of a game from 2003-2005 I think that at the beginning of the campaign u are in the space and your ship crashes (i think) and when you wake up u find your friends head on a stick.

I remember 2 features from the game:

1- the aliens or enemies you're fighting are blue (except their weapons).

2- the guns that you have are a normal sub-machine gun (or machine-gun) and a special gun that has special "powers" i remember that u had like 3 colors and one of them (white or yellow) if you shot it to the ground it would create a shock wave damaging all enemies in that area and pushing them back.

If you know what game it is PLEASE tell me what game is.

This is giving me a headache. I'm not even sure if this was a game or if it was a bonus level of a game. :-D I remember you were supposed to collect candy or you could shoot candy, not sure. And I remember there were big chairs and other big furniture in the background. And the colours were pretty bright. It must've been an SNES game. I have nothing more to go on... :-( Really appreciate your help! Thanks! :)
Zool? Cool Spot?
It's neither Zool nor Cool Spot. :-( I'm absolutely sure about the big furniture in the background. Thanks again!

Oh i got one.. and if someone can tell me what's it called i give you all the internet cookies of this world.

It was on the Amiga 2000. The game was a sidescroller and you were playin' as Helicopter and shot other jets/stuff and the really funny part was, that you could play it with a 2nd player but he could only control a lousy jumping jeep with a machinegun of some sort.

It was literally a blast :)
But i never knew the name of the game <.< And roughly once a year i wonder what game that could've been.

Hey, everyone! I've got this old game I used to play in 2000, 2001 or so but I can't remember the name. It was a first-person shooter game and all you had to do was to shoot people randomly appearing. You couldn't move, you always shot from the same point, you just had that one gun and the people you had to shoot were images of real people holding guns or machine guns or knifes. I remember there was a level where they came out of and behind barrels and even while playing you were in a horizontal placed barrel (but just in that level). At some point there was a guy with a knife appearing right in front of you, always scared me to death.
And I also remember that when you got shot, you didn't die instantly, you had something like a shield made of glass. And when you died, the glass broke and there was blood on the screen.

Any help is truly appreciated!
Sounds like Lethal Enforcers, but that was a heck of a lot earlier than 2000. Possibly Mad Dog McRee, if it was Western themed?
Lethal Enforcers is really close to it! The sounds and screams are really alike but it's still not that game. :( I clearly remember a level where there were a depot and barrels. The quality was definitely better than that of Lethal Enforcers. And I used to play it on a PC.

I remember playing a game in which there was a dinosaur and two kids...a boy and a girl....it had different mini games in it....like in a cave i guess....spelling and stuff....and it had another part of time i suppose :| PLEASE HELP!!
I believe we're looking for the same game! That certainly sounds like the game I posted this description of a while ago:

I also just joined to see if I can get any help finding an old game!

It was a PC game for kids with an environmental message. I remember that the basic "plot" was that there was a planet which had its natural environment destroyed by industrial pollution, and you had to do various minigames in order to get the resources to return it to its former state.

Each minigame was associated with a different planet in the same solar system. You played as 3 different people in the different minigames - either a blonde white girl, a brown or black haired black girl (who might've been a boy), or a purple dinosaur (I don't know how they had a sapient purple dinosaur with them). I only remember two of the minigames:

- A maze minigame where you play as the blonde girl. The maze is underground on a red planet (I believe), and you have to search the maze for a bag of seeds, which you then must return to the surface. I remember there being riddles in the maze that you would have to answer to advance.

- A minigame where you played as the dinosaur, in which you had to sort recycling into plastic, paper, and metal. The recycling would come along on a conveyor belt and you would have to press the relevant button before it reached the end of the belt.

I really don't remember much else about it other than minor details (the two human characters wore identical white clothing, the screen where you selected which minigame to play showed the different planets with a progress bar next to each of them - once you'd progressed far enough through each minigamee you won), and that it was probably made in the early-mid nineties, as that's roughly when I played it.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give! :)

my turn.

Maybe mid-nineties. Its a computer game, a rpg. You start as a baby and you start in a ?cave? when you gain exp you grow up, and you have red hair, eventually. Outside you fight wild animals. I remember if you went directly left of the starting position there were some really strong animals-elephant and alligator- but if you were lucky you could get to some kind of knife that was really helpful in the beginning. If you killed a jaguar you received its pelt as ?armor? it was an overhead view, not a side scroller. thats all i remember
Anyone have any ideas? i have been looking for this game forever, and i know the information i have is really vague. I think that end game you could get or buy a gold sword. also something about a secret key that you had to buy online that opened a boulder that allowed access to a different part of the map...

anyone? anyone? bueller?....

There was this game I played a while back on PS2, but I can' seem to remember what it is. You started off at your house on a farm like place and you played as a wolf or dog or something and it wasn't Okami. Does this game sound familiar to anyone? I think it has Quest in the name.

I played this game in the mid-90's on PC (I'm almost positive it was a DOS game).

Basically, you had a team of miners and you mined for jewels and gems. You could sell these gems back at your home base to purchase mining equipment like better drills, elevators, and such. There was an enemy team of miners that would attack you on sight, and you were both trying to mine towards something in the middle of the map.

Anyone remember this game? I want to say it had "dig" or "gold" in its name, but i don't really remember.

Are you thinking of Shining Tears?
Nope, thats not it. :/ It had to do with a rather common plot of a band of rebels/outlying nations trying to stop an evil empire from subverting the entire realm, etc etc. But it turns out in some weird twist that the main character, who had amnesia, turned out to be THE emperor. And so at the end, you can choose whether or not to be the emperor, or to stay with all your friends and stuff you made playing the game and whatnot. The game was a strategy game, turn based. And the characters fought with "ring" weapons, as in...all the weapons were rings. Just rings, anyone could equip any ring, but based on their soul, it would turn into different weapons. And the main characters ring always turned into a broadsword. I remember another character you get later on was a bard who had a rapier.
So far, no one has been able to find this, i've been spending several hours a day for the past three weeks trying to find this game to no avail, can anyone at all help me identify this? This is pretty much my last shot at finding this amazing game again, I won't repost this again. :/

I'l ltry to explain the combat system as best as i can, because that is what was so unqiue about thius game...
Instead of finding weapons, you found rings. The rings had diferent stats and attributes on them, even special affects liek vampiric, etc. You could put a ring on anyone, but whenever that person entered combat, it always turned into their soul weapon. The main character had a giant two handed broadsword, like almost cloud buster sword style. It was a turn based strategy tactics game, and I can't recall how many peopel could be in your party during combat at once, but I do remember there being like 20+ diferent playable characters you could recruit, each one with individual storylines and personalitys, and based on who you recruited, how, and how you treated them, affected the ending of the game. And I also remember that at the very end, you can choose to save one. (all of them, even the male characters start to fall for the hero by the end, and based on how you treated them, even when they find out you're really the villain ,they still like you, and at the very end, you get to choose one to save, and thats what chooses the ending you get, because they end up as the characters romantic interest and the rest of the story plays out based on the goals of the hero + their romantic partner. I believe it may have been over the course of two games and had to have your save file imported, but I am not 100% on that.

Can't remember the name of an rpg I played as a kid. It may have been for the NES or SNES, I don't believe it was later, but I really can't say for sure. It was similar to a final fantasy game, could even be one, though no searches I've made for final fantasy turn up the information I input. The most notable scene I remember from this game was that one of the characters die, whether he is a party member of simply an I ally I don't recall however.

There is a touching scene after his death, where he is buried and the party stand around his grave, where his sword is pushed into the earth to mark his final resting place like a tombstone. Now what I distinctly recall was being able to activate the sword once you regained control of your character again, and then had the option of taking the sword for yourself - a dilemma, as the sword I recall was pretty good, but you were kind of defiling his grave by taking it.

Other than that, I don't remember anything else. I played many rpgs in my life, and I just remember that scene distinctly from one of them, as I remember the choice actually being a difficult one for a young me to make. If anyone recognizes the scene I am talking about, or knows the name of the game it is from, I would love to know so that I might replay the game for nostalgia sake.

Is actually a pretty common scene in a lot of RPG's, a DLC for dragon age even had that exact same dilemna, and it would lower party members friendlyless to you if you were crass about the choice.
