That sounds a lot like Golden Axe [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Axe#Ports_and_remakes], but I don't think it was ever released for PS1.
No, its not Golden Axe it almost does look like it though.
I am not 100% sure if it was on the PS1 but it had good 32bit graphics so the closest console i think is the PS1.
the game i used to remember was like you don't climb on a dragon when you play it, when the game start you fly on the dragon with a man on it, and if you died the man goes down with his dragon.
So its like flying dragon shooter i am not sure if you can climb off the dragon after some part of a level though.

Probably Zone of Enders, or Z.O.E?
Haha, one look was all it took to recognize it in the Youtube thumbnail.
Turns out it's Zone of the Enders 2.
I guess I better pick up that HD Collection.

The PS3 browser is annoyingly slow so I had to move to the shared computer, but the first captcha was kindness of strangers, fitting huh ?
Thanks for the help!

Also: What gave it away, was it the splitting missiles/lasers ?

Dante's Inferno isn't available for PC
There have to be over 100 isometric PC dungeon crawlers [http://www.allgame.com/style.php?id=180&tab=games&sort=date_asc] made from 2000-2010. Can you remember any more details?

Was 'knight' the only character option?
Could you choose your gender?
Did the entire game take place in hell?
Did you play alone or were there friendly NPCs in your party?
What did the HUD look like? Health and mana or no magic?
Oh God, I don't remember so many specifics. The knight was probably the only character, I don't remember any other. Well I don't think I finished the game, but for the most parts it was in hell.
Health bar should have been in top corner, and as for magic I just don't know.
I'm not sure how much this helps.
I'm guessing... Maybe something from Legacy of Kain series?
No, so new description: So the knight, always walked really slowly like his armour was heavy. The scenary was always dark, lava was around. The knight would just walk around hell and kill scary and horrific creatures. And I remember a lot of latin and pentagrams in the game.
And it's possible the knight was a crusader.
Sounds more like Diablo now...
Diablo 1,2 aren't realistic enough, Diablo 3 has too many characters and magic

Hey, I got this game i played like 10 years ago but cant remember the name. Its an first person shooter with monsters i it, and its also a bit sci-fi. I think this game is from late 90s or early 2000.
I dont remember much of this game, but i know the beginning very well. This game starts in an rainy area. When you walk forward wou will get atacked by big spiders, or big scorpions. when you killed these you have to get trough a door by shooting at a button trough a window. Now wafter that i dont remember much, but i remember something you get to fight that is like a flying thing that shoots at you. This thing lookt like a robot wearing an army helmet i think.
The last thing i remember is the cover of the box. It had an green goblin kind of thing on it with an joker suit, and it was wielding a circle saw.
Its a bit of a vaugly discription, but I hope someone knows the name of this game.

Hey everyone, I have one.

I remember this game being on the original Playstation. It's possibly late 90's. It's a 3D third person dungeon-crawler game, where you can have many different weapons, some of which are specifically good against certain enemies. Specifically, all I remember about this game is that one of the weapons you can have is called a "Blunderbuss", and that one level has you spawn in and get instantly attacked by a Medusa-like creature that can only be damaged by a poison blade (or something like that). My memory really hazes here, but I think the/a controllable character was female?

Any help is appreciated.

Yeah you fly on dragons with a man on it yes, but its not a 3d game though
its PS1 game with 2d scrolling graphics and i think you can play multiplayer with it as well.
not sure how many players you can play with it but its not like playing against each other but completing the stages together on the campaign mode, and as i remember it was very hard to beat the game when i was a kid.

Any game that is 2d with dragons with man on it may help.

You're quite welcome. I've never played it, but it looks really cool! Although I hesitate to put an image of Red Lotus on this site, lest I get the banhammer :)

Ah, yes, I can see why. Not entirely the finest hour of character design...

Hi, a challenge for you. I've been trying to remember the name of an old PC game I used to play around my friend house about 10 years ago. All I remember is that it started on a stormy island (possibly shipwrecked at the start?) involved giants/ogres or something and you could get a bow and arrow. Oh there may have been wolves as well. The menu may also have had giants on it.

Unsurprisingly google searches of "Island, Giants, Bows, Wolves" have not yielded fruit.

So if you can discern what game I've been looking for with such bizzare, varied scraps of memory then you'll be a smarter man than I!

Hey people.

Sorry for not quoting you guys. I joined the board just now. Don't feel like scrolling all the way through to find your posts.

1. Someone ask for a racing game similar to twisted metal (but with racing)? Futuristic? PS2 Title? These games came to mind:

- Kinetica
- Wipeout
- Vigilante 8

2. Someone mentioned a female voice "mothership" that gave orders to attack the other "mothership?"

-WarGames Defcon 1 came to mind. I don't know about the "mothership," but the female voice is there, and you do destroy the enemy main base. You choose either humans or futuristic aliens. Go at it with vehicles.

3. Someone also mentioned a game where "an ATV or something" shoots missiles at something and blows it up, and that's all he/she could remember. Wargames came to mind again, all about vehicles. Switching between the vehicles you were given at the start of the mission.

Now if someone could help me?

Sega Genesis. The game was based off of a T.V. show or comic. Something similar to Bucky O'hare maybe? I don't even remember. The comic/cartoon/whatever it was, wasn't all that famous. Side scroll like Streets of Rage or Golden Axe. Start off in a suburban neighborhood stage. I do remember there being a blue character. I also remember finding helicopters parked along the way, which you could hi-jack and pilot until damage sustained blew you back to the ground to fight. Somewhat futuristic. Sorry, that's all I can remember. I was a child.

I have been trying to find this game for years, but I don't even know what console we were using...You were a kind of Knight guy with a sword (I think) and one of the levels was underground and you could collect little gems as you jumped from "rock" to "rock". It was in the late 80's and the game kind of scrolled left to right, and when you were in the cave it scrolled up I think. It must have been on an NES or maybe Sega. I know this isn't a lot of detail, but any help would be great. Thanks

Umm I was wondering if anyone could help me name this game.
It was played on a PC, you played as a white man/boy who had an overly large head (no clue why).
You adventured through a castle and you entered different rooms and i think you had to fight different monsters.
The main monster I can remember was a grey 3-headed dog zombie (there may have been pumpkin men i'm not sure)

I think it was released in one of those multi-game disks and it may of been produced by EA. I think it is really old as I can remember playing it about 10 years ago. Thank you in advance if anyone can remember it :)

I remember playing a demo of this game so many times, I don't know if it was ever officially released, but it was a sort of 3D/overhead scrolling space shooter for Playstation 1. I'm thinking it offered both 1 and 2 player modes, with the default single player ship being red and white and the second player ship was blue and white.

The gist of the game was you flew your ship through what appeared to be a huge fleet of other larger ships with smaller fighters flying in to harass you and you blew everything up with either plain lasers, or a special that blew up most of the screen and had an interesting sound effect. If I remember correctly, you'd also occasionally get a second ship that you could latch onto to form a larger ship that had more lasers and stuff if you were playing single player. Most of the game was shown as a sort of overhead view, but the game was very much 3d and the camera tended to rotate a lot with you as you flew around the areas. There was a lot of detail in the game graphically, like planets in the background and things.

I'm wanting to say it was late 90's early 2000's when it was released. The demo disc it came on included a demo for the original Metal Gear Solid, Steel Reign (a tank battling game), MediEvil, the first Legacy of Kain game, Test Drive 4, and some kind of ninja game that was an overhead view and involved crossing a log bridge over a waterfall that I remember falling off of quite a bit for some reason (would like to figure out what that game was called to, if I can).

I'd appreciate it if anyone has an answer, thanks!

I had that demo. I did a quick search on youtube. At 1:45 I saw a picture that is shown for about a second. The picture seemed like it might be what you're looking for.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S5zCPsCBBOQ

It read "Project Wormhole."

I did a youtube search on this "project wormhole." doesn't sound exact to your description, but it was the best I could do. Hope it helps. Good luck!

Speaking of which, It was 2-4 years ago... I was in the base BX in Japan (pretty much a military Wal-Mart). I saw a game on the screen that looked very similar. I played Wipeout HD a couple years later, by chance. A song was familiar, so I assumed it was the game I had seen. The music was what peeked my interest, but after watching Project Wormhole, I am convinced Wiipeout HD was not the game. The game more resembled project Wormhole. Any other games like that? It was part of a video demo of a 3D TV. I just want the game's music. It was awesome.

DEMON SWORD - NES.

IT MUST BE DEMON SWORD! I searched for this game a couple years back. I had it on NES when I was a kid. Your description of the cave upward scrolling sounds like a match. If you go right in the cave, it goes on forever. If you get smart and make your way up, boss battle.

Im trying to find a game that to me was really fun when I played it as a kid. I remember it was a Playstation 2 game and you were a boy and before the game starts you I think dreaming or being read a story by your sister. It goes with your father being a great knight and he is fighting a dragon with two heads I believe then you wake up and go to the castle in a city nearby to become a knight. And you have to fight against other people trying to become a knight and then theirs this girl same age as you and your like between the ages 12-18. This girl beats everyone and you, you cant beat her even if you try your supposed to lose. Then after that I forget their are all kinds of creatures and people humans, Fairies, dragons, Ogres, Goblins, Elves, dinosaurs. When you go around to fight you have a party you and three other people you wander the land its not free roam that much you stick to one path that splits off every now and then. And in the middle of the game when you have to choose between the biggest choice in the game where you go with that girl or go with the knights. The leader of the knights is evil in the end and is the last boss you fight he turns into a creature I don't know what he looks like. You can change your armor and sword in stores you buy everything and you get quests.

if anyone can help me try and get the name of this game I will beyond grateful towards you thank you for your time and sorry for bad word placement.
Radiata Stories. That game is one of the best RPG's I've ever played. So many characters.
