Okay, so I'm trying to remember a game that my brother used to play. All I remember is that it was animated, with really nice graphics, and you had to go around and fight things. There also might have been something with collecting keys (?) I remember one scene of there being sort of wyvern-like things in a swamp/forest. There was also a talking dog who would call you whatever your name was plus -ypoo (so, my brother was Andrewypoo.) This has really been bugging me. Help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,
I've been looking for ages for this game and i never actually knew it's name, when i bought it, it was in russian(could be just a russian version of it).
It was an RTS game, like starcraft but older, it had both Space battles(taking over planets) and when you attack a planet, it starts a planetry mission.
You can't do both at the same time.

MAIN REASON WHY I'M LOOKING FOR IT, is because i remember it had some really kick ass soundtrack, rock music, guitars.
Also the game was awesome.

Please email me if you have any thoughts, i've been diving through the forum and google for a long long time...nobody was searching for it...

Anybody knowledgeable about PS1-era fighting games? I have no clue of the name, but my most distinctive memory was playing a wyvern-type creature and spamming an attack where I'd fly up and spew flame. So little to work with, and my Giant Bomb search has proved fruitless :/

I am looking for a ps1-era console game.
It is a turn-based JRPG with cute cartoon style.
Most of the time the player is walking around a 3D world,
when in battle there is an action bar to fill before doing any command.
The most distinct feature is that most of the time monsters only drop fruits (orange, apple, etc)
and the player can combine those fruits afterwards in the menu to turn them to juice.
There is a blender anime when combing. The juice can be use to gain exp.

Does anyone know the name of the game where you are like a blue ball that can punch things, I barely remember anything about it though, I do remember one level where you had to scale the side of a wall using the Fish-Shaped flags that would stick out occasionally because the wind would blow. I just remember as a kid, raging really bad at this game because I couldn't get far. All I really remember is being a blue ball that rolls and round and punches things. It is a 2D platformer. I don't remember what system it was for either, maybe PS1.

I'm looking for this game I played a couple of times back in 1996 or 1997. It was on a Panasonic console, I think. It was a war game. You would drive around in a tank. Sometimes you could get into the adversary camp and when you drove on soldiers' tents it would make a squishing noise. I also remember something about having to plant a flag somewhere and it would play this classical song which I just found out is William Tell's Overture's "Finale : The March of the Swiss Soldiers". Also when you'd die this skull face would come up in the middle of the screen and laugh in a very funny way (at least my 12 year-old self tought it was funny).

Any ideas as to what this mystery game is? I've been trying to find it for hours through Google but no such luck. Thanks!

Trying to find out the names of 2 games please.

This one has been bugging me for years. It's not even a very good game and I could never quite figure out what the point of it was, which is one of the reasons I want to remember what it was called.
It's an early/mid 90s PC game, I think it was dos. Can't remember much about it so apologies for the vague details...
I think you play the role of a knight/prince (maybe even peasant?) and it is set in the medieval times. I remember there was a castle courtyard and a pub. I think you can get in a fight at the pub or get stabbed, but that might be my memory playing tricks. It had a day/night cycle, which I thought was very cool and advanced for a computer game at that time.
It had a very primitive 3D perspective to it and was none-linear game. By that I mean you could just wander around at your own pace a bit like Zelda on the SNES (but not as good obviously).

For some reason I thought it was called 'gambit' or had gambit in the title but I've not had any luck searching that name so ignore this if it doesn't help jog your memory. That might have been a different game.

2nd game is an old Japanese Gameboy (first edition) game. Might be Chinese I'm not sure. The packaging was all in Japanese/Chinese so I've never known the real name for it. Not sure it had an official English release and I don't know anyone else who owned the game, so it must have been pretty rare (in western countries anyway). My brother and I just used to call it 'Chinky Chonky Chinese' because we didn't know what it was called (we were not racist - just children).
It is a platform game similar to Super Mario Land, only you play as a Sumo wrestler and it is set in Japan/China. It was a really good game - as good as Mario Land but maybe a bit slower, and some of the levels were quite tricky. I never completed the game, which is one of the reasons I want to find out what it was called.
I remember one of the company logos on the box said IMAX. Pretty sure it was IMAX anyway, or something very similar.

This might be my memory playing tricks again, but I'm sure you have to arm wrestle or play cards with someone at the end of each level. Could be wrong though, so ignore if this confuses things.

Any help much appreciated.

Just found out the name of that Gameboy game I was asking about. It's called Sumo Fighter. Look it up it's a good game and brilliant early-sonic-like music.

I still don't know the name of my first game ^above^ so please help.
Thanks

I am looking for a game that has a similar feel to it as The Legend of Zelda. It was for the PS2, and it was an adventure game and it was also played in a similar was how you move from one designated section to the next by reaching the other side of the screen. I played it all the time with my friend when I was in elementary school. I think we started playing it in 2001. the graphics were good for an older top down adventure game, and if I were to see an in-game image of the game I would recognize it. It is 2 player, one of the characters, if I remember correctly, is faster than the other.
