hey every one

So I'm looking for a puzzle game and it's really bothering me that I can't find anything about it anywhere. I played it like 5 6 years ago on my pc, so it's not that old.

So it's a 2D puzzle game and it's like this: in each level you have to guide the ball to go from Start to End and you do this by clicking on a few sliders that change angle when clicked on. so the ball hits them and changes direction and with each level it gets more difficult and some additional obstacles are added, like small holes that act like portals that when the ball enters them it gets out from another portal at another location on the screen, so the sliders have to be adjusted accordingly.

Would really appreciate your help.

I remember this ps1 game. The main charector was a red headed guy. I believe he had a parrot. This was a game with castles and monsters that you had to fight with a sword. It had anime style mini screen plays depending in what choices you made. It had multiple endings depending on your choices. The choice I made was to keep this girls comb but I think she was a spirit or she died after giving me the comb. I can't remember what the other girl item was because the endings split depending on which girl you chose. Its driving me nutts. This was about 14 to 12 yrs ago.

Hey guys, I have a few games that were originally made probably in the late 80's early 90's and were on floppy disk.I played them around the mid 90's

so the first one I thought for SURE was just called "Three" and I used to play it in the computer lab at school. The game essentially had a main segment where you are an alien in a spaceship being asked questions about the states of the US. History questions and whatnot. You'd answer about 10 then you get a mini-game of sorts. The one I remember most had maybe 5 or 6 horizontal columns on the screen, and the character you control is at the bottom. little orange pokey guys with big thick nerd glasses start coming on screen in the columns from the left and right, and the object is to hit them with comic books. If you don't hit them they come closer to the bottom of the screen, getting increasingly faster (invaders style)

The second one is a bit harder to describe because I was very young when I played it. All I remember was, it was like a tactical war type game, and for the most part all you see is a top down view of a tank (or something like it) that you control, and then the grey tiled floor. I also remember being horrified of a creepy grey face that would appear (i'm assuming) after you clear an area, like a stage boss.

The third game was very colorful, and you were a guy in an office building, in an office chair with wheels, going around the building getting items and solving puzzles.

the fourth one is probably the most fuzzy in my memory, and I'm not even sure if it was for NES or floppy. What I remember was a dungeon like setting, and an old man (maybe a wizard) and some crystals. It's for sure not Final Fantasy, or D&D, and I remember lots of colors, like maybe 16 so I'm inclined to think it was a floppy.

If you can help with any of these games I would be really happy! These have been racking my brain for 20 years!
The last one could be The Imortal for the NES. You played as an old wizard.

You are a life saver!! I can't believe it! I haven't seen this in years! Thank you so much!

Hello!

This one game's been bugging me for a while; I can't remember much of it, though. I imagine I played it somewhere around 2005 (again, not sure!), though it could be an older game, I just played it in 2005-ish. Anyway, here's a few things I remember about it:

-You start on this hill, road, thing, and you can see a castle, monastery or something on the other side of the sea, and it's filled with demons and stuff. There's some object you have to find, some holy Godly object to get rid of all the demons and stuff.
-If you continue following the road, there will be a tree log in the middle of the road, not letting you to go through, and some bandits or goblins or something there which you have to fight.
-It MIGHT be something like Neverwinter Nights 1, same graphics I believe, so it's not 3D, and same point of view. It's an RPG, of course, with talents and all that good stuff.
-You have to go way around the tree log, following a road filled with goblins and other evil guys. Then, after you've gone past all that, you reach a village/town, and if you continue through it you reach some big graveyard.
-I'm not all too sure, but I do think you can be a Mage, Warrior, Ranger, you know, the classic stuff.
-I played it on my PC, so it's a Windows game, clearly.

Anyway, that's pretty much all I remember that could be 'vital'. I remember it was super-duper fun to play and would absolutely LOVE to play it again. So yeah, any help would be GREAAATLY appreciated. Thanks!
That could be Dungeon Siege.

The graveyard in particular sounds familiar.
It's not Dungeon Siege, sadly.

In a way it's like Neverwinter Nights, then again in another way it isn't.
I'd describe what goes on after the graveyard, but I can't since I didn't get further than that. If I remember right, once you lower down the hill (it's not just straight down, more like an S , squiggly way down), and you go towards the monastery, over the small bridge, there would be some elite fellows there, I remember they were quite a challenge. And then, if you go left, you get to a swamp-ish area, with giants and stuff.
I understand this can't help much, but I'm currently at that point of thinking 'anything might be useful'.
Could be Nox, if the main character is from a different dimension and wears a hoodie and sneakers.

So ive been trying to think of what this game has been for a long time. I believe it was around the PS1-2 era if im correct because it was an erly 3d game from a 3rd person view. It was a rpg game i believe, that had a setting where there was an advanced world but it only existed inside a big bubble on earth and noone knew what was outside of it. And the whole game you find out the history of the world by fighting people and you eventually find out that the world was destroyed and everything outside the world was ruins and one of the last places you fight this robot boss is in the creepy run down amusement park. Im really hoping someone will help me figure out what this game was. Thanks guys -Andy

So I used to play a game on the PlayStation 1 and it was a kind of 3D game (very cartoony) where you go from one section of a place to another rather than a smooth scroll. To start off,you picked a gender and then a weapon. The weapon options were like a sword, hammer, nun chucks, and maybe a dagger. You wake up in your house, which is where you can save by sleeping. You go from your house to town and have to talk to some people about who knows what but there's a place called gato grotto and a beachy place. you find you have a fruit bearing tree in your back yard and you can smith, get pet monsters from dropped eggs, and there are like 500 quests to do. I can't remember what it's called so if you could help me that would be much appreciated.

Hy! I've been looking for the name of this game since forever now...It's a fighting game in 2d, I think it's made by snk or
neo-geo or something like that, it's something like samurai shodown, I remember the character I used to play, he had blond
hair that was a little long but not to long, his weapon was nunchucks and I think his name was Golden, but i'm not sure
Another character was a purple robot(not a good looking robot) that had only one wheel, with forks instead of hands and it use to spin a lot. I think another character was a fat dude that spitted fire, that is all i can remember because I played the game back in 1995-2000. I hope you can help me. Cheers.

Apologies if this one has already been identified (don't have the patience to review the other 294 pages!). It's a PS1 FMV-heavy adventure game where you can inhabit the minds of other people. (Note: It is NOT Psychic Detective.) The scene I remember most clearly was where you're at a party and you could jump into any number of people's mind and they would be unaware of it. There was this old lady however that looked like the stereotypical gypsy who'd detect the player when trying to go into her thoughts. She looked into a mirror and said "ah, you like riding around in there do you? Well you won't find the answers you seek here now get!" or something to that effect.

So I'm looking for this old racing game.
Platform could be PC as well as N64, not sure.

You could choose your own ship (you could also fly on the tracks)
and I remember one of the ships being sauzer-like.
In the 'pick a ship' menu every ship also had a character next to it, but these weren't actually shown while playing.

It did not feature pickups if I remember correctly, and all the gameplay was pretty intense/fast paced. (at least for me, at the time)

(One of the ships had a mix of green and yellow for a paintjob, if that helps)

EDIT:

The ships and characters kinda reminded me of the games featuring Captain Falcon.

EDIT:

A game that kinda has the same feel to it is AeroGauge (a N64 game)

EDIT:

I remember one of the levels being a sort of canyon, with a few tunnels too.

I made an account just to post here because, well I'm sure everybody else here knows the pain of remembering a game they used to enjoy, but can't remember the name of or find it online. The problem is the games I remember playing are ones that somebody made in their basement long ago that nobody knows about. With that being said here's what I can remember:

The big one I want to remember is a game I played on my old Macintosh, a graphical text adventure if you will. You had to type out typical commands like "East" or "Eat Chicken" and each area had its own illustration for what was happening.
The parts I remember vividly are that at the start (maybe the first screen I'm not sure) there was a market to the right, from which you could purchase chicken you could eat; and to the left was a castle/palace wall with a trough/fountain built into it which you could use to fill your canteen with lukewarm water. (I remember the word lukewarm very clearly)
The game I think takes place in some sort of desert as I remember sandy sort of colours, and somewhere within the palace there was a mirror in a back room or something, which you could smash. no reason I think for doing so but you could anyway.
If it helps this game was in colour so it was probably on Macintosh system 7 or later.
I've combed through macintoshgarden but couldn't find it, anybody else is welcome to try.
*EDIT* I should note that the game was in the 1st person perspective, if that helps.

Another game I remember playing was on the pc, it was sidescroller with a pixelated art style where you control a small red devil/demon sort of guy whose main attack was a red beam that could be charged. It had rather cool music if I remember correct.

Another pc game I remember (during the same time as the game above) is more of a story point and click game, it takes place in some walled town where there's some form of mystery that you're to solve. The perspective is a birds-eye view of the town below but you could go into some houses and stores, set in the medieval(maybe?) period. The entire game was drawn by some guy who at the end of the game says that the assets used in the game can be freely used by other people.

The above two MIGHT have been on some UK pc magazine game disk together, which I just remembered here myself and am about to google after posting this.

If anybody can provide images I'm sure I'll recognize the game(s) instantly, any questions feel free to ask.

Cheers

Okay, this is going to be a massive stretch as the details which I actually have on this game are extremely vague.

It was on the PS1, at least I'm fairly certain it was and had a sort of steam-punk art style to it and you played as a man and the controls sort of felt like Resident Evil.

One of the first mission I can remember is you were thrust into some water with a piece of underwater breathing apparatus, went under a wall and emerged in a submarine bay. You then had to climb up a bunch of gears and infiltrate the enemy base. At all times you're pretty much outgunned and out manned so the emphasis was on sneaking and using your wits (or at least whatever wits an 8 year old possessed)

The only other bit of this game that I can really remember is that there was a dance that you somehow became part of (Someone probably kidnapped your girlfriend or something, I really don't know) with quick time events and once you completed it, you escaped on Jet Ski's. That's all I can remember as I wasn't allowed to play anymore once I got to the ball bit, my step dad said it was too girly ¬__¬

This has been annoying me for a while now, so if someone could help that would be great :)

***EDIT***: Found the game. It is Cloud Kingdoms:

http://www.mobygames.com/game/c64/cloud-kingdoms

***/EDIT***

Alright, this one is a C64 game. You control a sphere with a pair of eyes in top-down view where you can move and jump in four directions (plus diagonals) where moving in a straight line speeds you up and then you can jump further. And there are tiles that modify behaviour eg. speed you up, slow you down, make you stop, make you bounce, jump over wall tiles or teleport. There are also "void" tiles that you must avoid or fall through to the space ie. die. It had a rather dark and brownish colour palette.

To recap:

- C64 game
- Top-down view (not a sidescroller like Wizball or Spherical)
- You play a moving sphere and can jump
- Dark and brownish colour palette
- Some tiles can speed you up, slow you down, make you bounce horizontally or make you jump over walls

I've been going through a nostalgia fix, trying to finish games that I never could as a kid and this one has been driving me nuts since I can't seem to find it back.

Some of the games that are NOT:

Boulder Dash
Paradroid ( http://www.mobygames.com/game/c64/paradroid )
iBall ( http://www.mobygames.com/game/iball )
Pengo ( http://www.mobygames.com/game/c64/pengo )

I remember a pc game i used to play in school, you were a little worm looking ninja guy and you could use a ninja rope to swing around on the map. You could shoot mortars and destroy the terrain to try and find your enemies...it was a lan game. There was no story line it was just shoot eachother down.

and no its not worms lol
