Do you remember what the playstation game was called where:
- you had to set up the village to make everyone happy
- but you first had to earn the village pieces through temples (possibly temples)
- and you only started with one or two items?

Please and thank you. :D

I remember one where you played this guy who inherited his grandfather's (or uncle's) asylum. You helped a woman who is a ghost who thought she had a kid, also a dragon lighter that you used to escape an iron maiden. It was a first person puzzle game where you had to solve the mysteries in the asylum or be in it forever!

I have another one, I game I used to play on the amiga. It had these happy anime female protagonists who had magic wands.

You could create one magic ladder. If you created a new one the old one dissappeared.

When you used your wand you trapped the enemies (which were wasps, lobsters, sharks, mantisses etc. although each level had at most 2 different enemies). If you used your wand again you would slam them over your head to the other side. 3 Slams and they're dead (and they'd drop a one-shot weapon on pickup, like a rocket, basketball or 4 red bouncing balls).

The smart way to play was to collect all flowers in a level. If you killed monsters after that, they'd drop a letter instead of a weapon. Get E X T R A and you get an extra life from a fairy.

There were a couple of bosses. A whale (first one?), crocodiles (second one and easiest), an elephant. The final boss was a small guy that jumped around and grew bigger each time you defeated the previous stage until his foot is bigger than you.

I thought it was called crystal warriors or rainbow warriors, but no luck.
Rodland?

Nope. :/ It has brown dirt.
Did you try http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boulder_Dash

It shows a bunch of clones such as the pit, dig dug, repton and crystal mines II.
hm..the first two levels of boulder dash 2, but the monsters and diamonds aren't the same (monsters are insects, aren't really shown - they're squares, in the game i'm looking for you can see them). It must be a clone, but not the ones you pointed out or are written on wiki.
The game name had something to do with mine or coal. And you could use bombs & dynamites :)

hello everyone, im looking for a 3rd person based rpg on PC, i dont remember much about the gameplay except its like an rpg that you control 1 hero type character, i remember the intro being an army of orcs destroying this village, the orcs were bright red i think
any clues anybody?? :)
It sounds like it could be one of the Might and Magic games. I don't know which one, but the only game in that series that I've played also featured red Orcs.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Might_and_Magic

There's a list of the 9 games it could be, and you'll probably find a video of the intro you're talking about on Youtube.
I had a look but it wasnt the might and magic series, but thanks.

hello everyone.
first of all, awesome thread, i'm new here and i hope you can help me with a game that's making me going crazy becouse i can't remember its name nor i'm able to find it anywhere.

everything i can remember:
very old, dos game
genre: platform
description: you controlled a guy that was a bit robot-like, but somewhat remembered me about a penguin. the most important thing: it had a neck that you used make it longer and longer at your will (sorry for my english) to grab/reach things
the game started outside a building, while snowing and you had to go inside several levels, collecting items while passing through them
i can't remember more at the moment

i'll keep my fingers crossed

Hello to all.

I've looked all over the web, and have yet to indentify this old game.

I remember my sister's computer having windows 95 on it, and this was a demo game that was installed on it. I remember it being called "Drednought", but google has not been able to aid me in my search.

It was a click/command type of space game. it remember it having an asian looking 2d animated girl as your "communications" officer.

The ships themselves were very reminiscent of tempest, although the ships were solid geometrical shapes, not just lines.

I've been going crazy looking for this game, or any information on it, but have come up empty.

PLEASE HELP!

I remember and online game I played in early 2000s. The game was based on a series of customizeable action figures (or vice versa?), I remember one playable character being a cowboy kind of guy with two pistols, and a boss fight in which a dialogue preceding the fight went something like
Boss- How do you like my upgrades?
Cowboy- I like it, stupid and ugly really fit your style
Cheesy perhaps, but it was a fun game

Hey.

There was an RPG/adventure game around 2004, maybe a bit more recent, where you were this blond character (iirc) , on an island, and you had to fight all sort of beasts and animals. The game had an interesting feature that allowed you to choose where you attacked your opponent: head, left hand, right hand, body, left foot or right foot. You started with some sort of melee weapon, and you could craft armor and weapons with the items you found killing foes.

I played a demo of the game, on PC, it was demo on some IT magazine CD but I just can't remember on which, or how I even obtained it back then in the first place.

I looked on the magazine covers online, but can't seem to find it, and can't even remember its name.

Any hint or help is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

I have been trying to remember the name of a certain computer game for about 17 years now. It was a dos game in black and white where you control a character that is static using the keyboard. You went around solving puzzles and collecting keys to open doors. There was no menu or instruction screen. you walk into enemies to fight them but normally the best option was to avoid them. I used to play this game in computer class in elementary school. The only games they had was this, Oregon Trail, and Yukon Trail. Someone please help me with this. I have been able to find no mention of anything like it in years of searching the internet.

Hello Everyone,

I was hoping for some help remembering a game I used to play on my old WIN98 PC. The game was a in first person view and was a 3D game. Basically, you were in outer space and you walked around slowly, I think you clicked on doors and rooms in order to walk in. I remember looking in the mirror, and recall the character having some sort of mechanism on one of his eyes. I think you would teleport, or go back in time in this Subway looking vehicle. I think the vehicle would teleport you to different worlds and/or different times. I think you had to pick up certain items, for instance a fuse for the time machine/vehicle. There wasn't much contact with other life in the game, that I remember. I vaguely remember having some sort of laser gun that looked more like a remoter control. I actually remember being attacked by something onboard a spaceship (Possible Alien?). Sorry, that is all I can remember. The era was 1995-1999.

Thank You

Unfortunately no. i remmber the maps looking more detailed, like um, more pixels. and there were no actual "people" looking robots.they were more like drones actually.

I just found out about this thread and i am hoping someone can help me, i remember playing this turn based rpg, pretty much clasical boy becomes some kind of knight thing, you could control a number of characters during combat at the same time like with most turn based games , the main detail i remember about the game is that at the middle of the game or possibly the end you board a big ship with most of your villager or town and it takes you to some island and on that island you find a city wit phoneixes, you also recruit one in your party ( the phoenixes look quite silly) the character look pretty much like the humans from the pokemon game (when exploring the world) and the movement is like that. Also it might be quite old since i remember i played it arround 2004 maybe on my pentium 2.
