That's Vib Ribbon. Released in Europe and Japan only I believe. It's not necessarily a favorite around here, but it's come up before. I still have my original Japanese copy. (= Unfortunately it doesn't work on my NTSC PS3 so I have to keep my special PS1 around.
you dont realise how much i love you right now, thank you so much :D

You're welcome. I hope you find a copy!

A side note: Vib Ribbon allows you to load the game and then choose an option to load your own music CD into the PS1. This will generate unique levels based off of your music. I'm not sure if the PS1 requires official music CDs (as opposed to a burned disc with .WAV or .CDA).

In addition, the music tracks on the Vib Ribbon disc are readable in a CD player (the disc is only 171 MB). There are 8 tracks on the disc--seven of them will show up on iTunes (PC) along with their correct track names. The first track contains the entire game!

Here is another description, please help me guys
. This game is a Top down, multiplayer Maze game with. There are neutral tanks driving around the maze that will kill anyone they're near, there is also money and various items in the maze for you to gather.

You set how many rounds you want the game to last for and at the end of each round you spen money on tanks, weapons, armour and abilities that allow you to faze through walls for a short time, turn invisible or ran faster for the whole round. Each player had a base in one corner that would only open for you unless they buy a one time use key, (i'd buy them and place mines in their base :).

The multiplayer was played using the same keyboard, not sure if it was possible to play LAN but if it is possible I'd definately like to find this old game and play against family and friends.

Hey there guys. I have this vague memory of a game I played when I was very young.

I believe it was a Commodore 64 game. I believe it was a top-down view RPG game, set in some medieval setting. I believe the beginning of the game was something about you were outside a castle. I remember something about a ring, maybe for a princess? You would move around the map and fight, I believe with an axe, but I'm not very sure about this.

Any games sound like this? :D

Another game I have been looking for is some kind of medieval zombie game. Or perhaps other monsters. You start out with a band of soldiers and you fight in some village. You're traveling further and at some point you are also fighting inside some dungeons, still with a band of soliders that either grows as you find more people, or diminishes as they die.

It was a 3d game with a kind of top-down view.

I figured it out. I believe it is from the Myth games!

Right this game i believe was on either Ps1 or Ps2, im not sure, but i have a feeling it was out around 1999 - 2000, i cant remember much about it, but it was a semi-birds eye view camera so you could see the whole stage but it wasnt too high up, i think you had to make it through different stages, and i think you couldnt attack enemies, but i remember one of the enemies was some sort os Mushroom head enemy, and they would charge at you and headbutt you, but that is all i can remember, and it just wont leave my mind.

I am looking for an old dos game. I played it around the time that Blake Stone: Aliens of gold was out and I believe I got to play the game I am looking for because I wanted Warcraft II, and it was on the same disc. (Warez compilation disc popular in the netherlands around that time.

For more reading on twilight :)

So,

It was a multi-directional scrolling free-roaming space-shooter, where you would collect shiny stuff that came out of asteroids that you shot. There were not a lot of enemies (i remember only 1), but the one there was, was of end-boss proportions. It was a metal round face, about 5-10 times bigger then your ship, and said "Run, run, run!!". If you shot off enough pieces it would then run off, only to come back later. It also was a lot faster then you i remember, and i think movement of your spaceship was indirect (thruster based). I never finished it, but i remember it so well because my broter and i were playing it in the night and his the end-boss his face plus his lines were so rediculous we were rolling over the flour laughing :).

That is all i remember. I hope someone can put my mind at ease :)

Got a touch one here, because so far no one has been able to figure out what I am talking about. :/ I'd really like to find it again, because it was a beautiful game.

I've been searching for a while for an older game, I believe it was Japanese (which is why I can't find it) but translated into english. It was for playstation 2, and it is a turn based strategy RPG. The characters fought with "Ring Weapons", rings that became a weapon based on the soul of a wearer. The main playable character, or hero, fought with a large broadsword and had a case of amnesia. I remember it as being very wlel thought out, having many, multiple endings depending on which party members you were able to save, what you said to them, who you romanced, etc etc. If anyone could tell me what the name of this game is, I would much appreciate it.
No one at all?
Its not Dragon quest your thinking of is it?

I have two that I can't remember they are both for a computer/pc game. First one involves a side scroller style game play with heroes that use swords or magic to attack enemies... in one of the cut scenes to advance to the next level the heroes have to get on the back of a giant moving island that is actually a turtle! The second computer game is and educational game that uses math to solve problems but takes place in a cold type environment you use a character to move around and you can go around the village collecting crystals or diamonds...in one of the futuristic city environment you get up on a ledge that goes invisible and if you are not in the right spot you will fall off the invisible ledge. If you can get the names to these two computer games that would be great.
First game sounds like Golden Axe.
Thanks Batou667 that is exactly the game (Golden Axe) I was looking for! Now If I can just get the name to the educational game I mentioned above I can clear my mind in peace...hahahaha! When one is young...one doesn't pay much attention to names..haha

I sounds like Zork to me I played this game way back when there was no such thing as windows lol you had to input the commands and move through the world using your imagination and commands typed on the keyboard. the original game dates back to the early 80's, maybe even the late 70's. It has been remade for numerous OS's over the years I currently have the Zork Anthology which has all of the released versions of the game.

Hello, I am hoping there might be someone here that remembers this game. I am not sure if it was a platform game or a pc game but here is what I can remember.
1; It is a battle type racing game
2; released sometime in the 1990's
3; Featured an annoying CG announcer (He reminded me of MAX Headroom)
4; The race was one when you killed all of the other contestants.
I hope someone out there remembers this game because it is driving me crazy trying to find it lol
TIA
This could literally be anything from Micro Machines up to Destruction Derby or Twisted Metal. Can you give any more information? Were the graphics 2D or 3D? Was the view from above, behind, or in-car? Was it cartoony or realistic?

I guess it was 2d but the graphics were pretty good for the time. the announcer was obviously rendered in what should have been 3d but badly done, he was a total smart ass and would critique your racing, the cars were futuristic, and the tracks were wild sometimes broken freeways others were in cities through buildings, the object was to kill your opponents in order to win.

Do you remember if it was a isometric/top down race game or if it was viewed from behind the car ?
Also, do you have to kill all the contestants or just what you usually did to get first ?

Have a few different alternatives that I think it might be, but don't remember the names ontop of my head so want to know a bit more before I search them out.
you could choose either top view or be inside the car default was top and yes to win you had to kill the others

I'm hoping someone knows this game...
It was either late 90s early 2000, it was on the pc and it was very much like pokemon but you didnt use balls to capture new monsters.
I think you started off inside a crystal forest of some sort.
If anyone thinks they know the game just give me a hint thanks :-D

I've been racking my brain for days and done so much googling but no luck.

I used to play a game when I was 11/12/13 (so early 2000's) - i was trying to think of it the other day when telling someone about it. But I have completely forgotten where I can find it or what it was called. This is what I remember though:

It was a cartoon game for the PC (I think it was downloaded or an online game as i don't remember a disk for it) and the mainscreen was a bungalow/house with a garden. You could go into the house, if you went into the kitchen you could get recipes and make cakes with ingredients in the fridge - behind was a window where a bird would be. There was also a garden which you had to look after - plant flowers/vegetables and look after them. I also think you could paint if you went into another room and there was a few activies in another room of the house. It was a very simple game and pictures were big and clear and simple, with bright colours.

I don't think it was educational. But I couldn't say for sure.

I know there wasn't levels or anything in the game and there was only the one character. I remember the living room in the house was simple with a sofa and chair and an easel. There was a door at the back which led into the kitchen where you put ingredients in to a large mixing bowl from the fridge which was on the left.

To go to the garden you had to go outside and go left where there would be a late patch of soil made into squares which you would click to plant seeds (blue, white, yellow, green and pink I think) and try and get them to grow.

The 'menu' was on pieces of wood as well.

Anyone got any ideas? It's bugging me so much.

Im looking for an old game that was on one of the school computers at my elementary school in the early 2000s I'd say. The graphics were a bit better then 8bit and you controlled a space ship and had to shoot the other ships that came on the screen and they would always be rotating and making patterns that would change and get faster as the levels went up. Kind of had a space invaders feel to it. Don't remember the name of it.
