PC Game, downloaded it a while back. When I say a while back I'm talking 8-12 years ago I think it was some sort of flash game.

It was a top down shooter where you played a marine who would land and were tasked with killing these aliens. The aliens shot brown goo-stuff at you and spawned from brown pods dotted around the map. The objective is to eliminate all the aliens and all the pods. There were buildings that you could go in/out of. The aliens could break the walls however.

You often had these gold badges drop which you would run to that would bring reinforcements to the field. There were also two power ups (from your original gun). A red one which game you a flamethrower and a blue one that made your bullets shoot in three but did more damage.

There was a special type of alien that when killed, split open and more of them came out (they look like the brain-eating bug from Starship Troopers). It's a shot in the dark here but I'm wondering if anybody has played this?

I just created this account so i could find out the name of a certain game. Hopefully someone can help me, but i don't remember a whole lot about it. Here goes, it was on ps1, you play as a robot and you fight against other robots. When you break off a piece of an opponent like a leg or arm, you would be able to add it to your own robot. I know it's not a lot of info but if you have any ideas it would be a great help. thank you.

Hey guys, I've read through quite a large portion of this thread and I'm amazed at how people can remember some of the old obscure classics so well. I've had a couple of games comes to mind every now and then and I've tried to track them down, but to no avail. After coming across this thread though I may have some hope yet to finally be able to know what those games were.

The first game was played on an old Acorn computer I believe. I played this back in the day while at school, so I'm gonna take a guess that it was released no later than '95. It was a point and click adventure which started you at the front of a house/mansion and you had to somehow make your way inside. Outside there was a crumpled piece of paper on the floor that had a code or some clue written on it that would help you get past the front gate. That's all I have for that one, not much to go on I know. -.-'

The second game was a PC game. It came on a 'PC Know-how' disc I believe and they were released late '90s. It took place in what I think was ancient Rome. It may have been about time travel of sorts. I remember being able to talk to people by clicking them and also being able to interact with the environment with clicks too. The easiest thing I can remember about this game is that you had to click some large-ish pink buttons situated at the bottom of the screen. You could go forward, back and turn 90 degrees left and right.

If you read through all this, thank you. And if you know what these games could be and let me know, THANK YOU! =D

Hello guys!

Im wondering about a game from late 90s or early 2000s. Its both a driving and a shooting game. You have a yellow or a orange car, with a gunner on your car. You drive (at least in free-play mode) around in a desert area shooting enemy cars.

I can remember something from the video when youre starting the game. Its about some man throwing dices wherever he should kill a guy or not...

I know its not too much information, but I would be incredibly happy for any tries :D
Interstate 76?
Ah fuck yeah! Thanks man!

Back in the '90s, there was this game I borrowed from a friend for PC.
It was set in the future in space, in some colony or something. It was run by a computer program with a face¿ The program or whatever went rogue and released a bunch of crazy science shit,
like these monkeys with over developed brains that would shoot waves at you,
or mostly a fuck load of robots all over the place.

I think you were trying to escape from it.
Crazy huge expansive PC game. It had a command line and you could type in your items to spawn:
lasers, syringes, laser ice picks, usual future stuff.....

What is the name!?
System Shock?

I think the first one might be one of the Gabriel Knight games (possibly Sins of the Fathers?). Sorry, dunno the second one.

I need some help.

A while back, probably 2005-06 although I'm not 100% sure, I used to play a game on the PC. It was a game in browser and it was based around making levels and publishing them. It was a 3D game and when you played other's levels you would play in 1st person. The game had a few mechanical things that I can rememeber: teleports, a slingshot with ammo pickups and enemies. Another feature was the ability to select a theme for your level such as horror where the screen would be a shade of red, and I think another one was night where it would be darker. That's all I can remember from it, and I just want to find it to see if it still exists.
Anyone? This is really starting to bug me. Thanks in advance!

I hate being a bother, but I thought of another game, sadly I don't remember the name. It was on pc, you control little robot-like cars, there were red, blue, green, and maybe yellow. There were a few different tracks, including one I remember rather well, there is lava everywhere. You could drive through the lava all you want, your tires would blow off and you'd be driving on the rims. unfortunatly that's all I can remember for this game, if i had to guess a release date I would say somewhere between :( 1995-2005.

Ok there was this game i use to play all the time on my brothers computer about a decade ago and i think it was a demo. So u were this hovering loooking ship that hoovered over a pyramid looking structure and this structure helped you regain health and regain points to be able to create your Tanks, Jets , Helicopters and other vehicles i believe. you were able to move your ship around but moved slow and were able to shoot with your ship also. In the game you were battling another hovering ship that was able to do the same tihng as you and basically you build your vehicles and send them to attack the other base to destroy it and he would try to do the same. you were able to control personally any vehicle you made and shoot with it when attacking the other enemy, when attacking the other you usually sent out a wave of your vehichles. when other opponents sent their wave of vehicles your vehichles automatically attacke back to defend. i remember when using a small map and you were always the blue icons and the enemies were yellow and red. In one of the maps i remember that you played againg both opponents which one was a yellow team and the other red and i remember the map been at night and there was tall buildings. This is all i remember
This sounds a little like Herzog Zwei for the Sega Genesis, but that is more 1990-era than early 2000's, and it was for Sega not a computer. But perhaps that will get you on the right track at least...
No its not that one, the game i played was much more modern and had good graphics for the time i played it, and i played it on a windows computer.

Okay this has been bugging me for a while and I apologize for the vagueness of what I am about to describe..

I can't entirely remember what I played this game on, something is telling me it was PC as it seams a bit too control intensive for original Xbox. The game consists of vast landscapes and goals you must achieve. You are in this form of futuristic spaceship/hovership, it doesn't actually fly it hovers. You have a heads up display that feeds you all your info, i don't believe you can see outside the ship. Anyway you can construct bases at certain designated locations, you can construct buildings to build units which you can send in to battle and you can construct defenses for your base. One of the things i specifically remember is a defense turret designed to stop missile attacks, it was called the 'Patriot' turret, had a strange round-ish front to it, like a gattling gun. There were two main factions, one looked human-based due to ship/unit designs, the other quite alien..I recall use of a lot of black and red for the alien faction.

Hope somebody remembers this as it's driving me crazy and the only thing i remember is the damn turret! Any help is appreciated :) this is circa early 2000's.

Hi everyone.

I have been looking for this game online for a LOOONG time now. I cannot remember the name of it, but I used to absolutely love playing it.

This is the best description I can give....

It came out around the mid to late 90s and it was a medieval game. I remember purchasing it with Age of Mythology.

Well this game had autosave about every 15 minutes, a tax collector that would always end up getting killed after collecting all of the towns taxes, and the game itself came in a brown box with yellow lettering.

The graphics were great at the time, and you could build your own castle, etc.

I can visualize everything about the game, even the box, just not the name of it. If anyone could tell me what this is it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! :)

GOT IT!!

Good game.
They made a sequel, finally, as well.

OT:
Looking for a RTS.
Full 3D builds/units so there was camera rotation

You could select species that are best described as:
Lizard Samurai
Generic Space Marines
Insects That Were Like Zerg Mixed With The Flood

Came out around early 2000s, on PC.
I recall the DEMO coming with either Tomb Raider Gold or Hitman 1.

Came to this site for a game that I used to play a long time ago.

It was like an Age of Empires game but you started each level with a small group.
For example you had like 3 guys with a crossbow (elfs) , dwarfs and some guys with swords.

You couldn´t get more and you were fighting zombies mostly of the time, I used to have the game but I do not remember if it was a demo or the complete game.

When you killed the zombies blood was spilled and the zombies exploded.

I hope someone knows the game...
thanks :)

There was one game that I can't remember. You start off in a castle and once you leave, you wander around the map, which is 2d, and you fight enemies that are already visible on the map.

To fight the enemies, you create your armies by "buying" (i don't actually remember the correct way it occurred) troops and you use these to fight other creatures.

You have a small ship and sail around, but I don't remember the purpose of the game whatsoever. I do remember that there were dragons, elves, zombies, fairies, and other types of beings that could be recruited into your army. Any help would be appreciated.
Heroes of Might and Magic?
no, it was na older gen game, most likely on snes, nes, or the sega.
You may have missed my message, but was it "King's Bounty"?

Hey, everyone! I've got this old game I used to play in 2000, 2001 or so but I can't remember the name. It was a first-person shooter game and all you had to do was to shoot people randomly appearing. You couldn't move, you always shot from the same point, you just had that one gun and the people you had to shoot were images of real people holding guns or machine guns or knifes. I remember there was a level where they came out of and behind barrels and even while playing you were in a horizontal placed barrel (but just in that level). At some point there was a guy with a knife appearing right in front of you, always scared me to death.
And I also remember that when you got shot, you didn't die instantly, you had something like a shield made of glass. And when you died, the glass broke and there was blood on the screen.

Any help is truly appreciated!

That sounds a lot like Myth, a rather unique series of real time strategy games.
