After reading through these two hundred and five pages, I just have to say to the OP: Bravo. You made a thread that has survived two and a half years.
I have a couple games, two from the NES age and one arcade game that I played, but never could remember the name of.
First: NES era, a game about a boy who's pet frog eats something, grows huge and tunnels underground, the boy follows and finds a truck and high tech suit and goes off in search of his pet frog. (Edit: Nevermind, this one was Blaster Master)
Second: NES era as well, it involved dinosaur mechs. You'd do half the level in a dinosaur mech, then the game would drop you out and you'd go underground through an area until you came to the end. Some type of tall glass capsule that shot stuff. You'd kill it, then run all the way back to your mech and finish the level. (Edit: Internet is a wonderful thing, this one was DynoWarz)
Finally: Arcade era. About the time Mortal Kombat themed games were in high demand, this was a game involving some type of cyborgs fighting each other in mortal kombat style, you could cut arms off, and I remember one stage had a giant fan several screens up as a finishing move, where you could uppercut the enemy into it. I don't remember the exact name, I just remember it had a PG swear in the title. Hell, or damn. (Still can't find this one, if anyone knows)
