I remember this game from so long ago, maybe early/mid 90's. i THINK it was on the computer, but I am not positive... like 90% sure it was on the computer.

It was a game that.. you picked a race or something, similar to how you do in the starcraft franchise.
You then were given an army, and it would be given a level value (i think).
----------> It's not a top down view of the game, nor is it anything like a realtime strategy, i just remember my brother being able to pick a race of his army. I believe he chose humans. or the most generic one. I can't remember. I was like 6.

I remember... the "army fights" or w/e they were looked very similar to how it looks when you fight in say.. advanced wars or a Final Fantasy game, where your army was on the left, and the opponents army was on the right.

It was single player, and I am pretty sure that it was the same order of "army battle" scenarios each time you played the game.

I wanna say the game had a purple menu interface, but that could be wrong. I cannot for the life of me remember what this game is called.

- early 90's, army/battle/war simulating game.
- Not top down view like in starcraft
- you didn't control the army yourself, it's "level value" would either be better or worse than your opponent
- the fight scenes resembled heavily on advance wars style (http://gamersxtreme.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/Advance-Wars.jpg)

i'm looking for an older game i'm guessing around 2003. It's a 2D pixel game, you can move Up, Down, Left and Right. you start out as a guy with blond hair (i'd guess around 18 years old) and he wakes up and turns on the light, then turns it off (or something like that) and in that first scene you can see the moon out of his window. you fall asleep after that then I THINK you have lost your memory then he walks out of his room and he's not at his house, instead he's at some alien place. You're walking around in a robe examining various things and talking to other weird aliens. that's the only true part of the strory line that I remember.
I only remember a few scenes from this game. here they are.

I remember there was a weird theatre place and you were surrounded by aliens with you watching it. I think he looses intrest then leaves.
another part is where you have a toy car and you find a bumper sticker but say "That wont fit on my toy car.
I need a bigger one" or something like that. and the last thing I remember is you knock on one of the aliens doors and it rawrs at you really loud.

I know, I know it's a weird ass game but I really want to check it out again!
For anyone who could help, thanks in advance! :)
I'm DYING to know the name of this game!! someone please help! :p
I am assuming it was for the PC? Like an OLD game, NOT 2003
I played it in 2003 I'm not sure when it was made and yes it is PC.

Okay I've been trying to think of a pc game I played about 10 years ago, it was a bit old even then so I think it was made in the early 90's ish. It was a space based sort of adventure game. Not just one where there were waves of aliens. You chose which star system to go to off of a constellation map, you could earn money by doing deliveries and jobs between different satellites or planets I think. You could upgrade you ship from that and fight others. Also I think it was possible to hire another ship to fly with you, but that's really all I can remember at the moment. Does it ring a bell for anyone else?

So there's this old computer game I've been trying to remember for a while now and no one I know seems to remember it, and I can't find it anywhere on google. I don't remember this game being very good but I would still like to know what it was to play it again for old times sake.

Year(s) I was likely playing it (this isn't necessarily the year it came out): 1998-2001
PC OS I was most likely using: windows 95 or windows 98
Game type: Pac-man style game, you collect orbs (I think!! I could be hugely off on that fact), top down, I'm pretty sure there is more to the game than just orb collection though

So from what I remember (which is very little) you are a blue ball (you look similar to pac-man) but the environments are realistic (like houses, trees, etc) the game starts in what I assume is your house, you're in the middle of the room in front of a door and you hear a loud noise, I think it was a crash. So you go outside to investigate.

I drew a quick rendition (in paint) of what I remember that scene it looking like, also I remember the game used a lot of gradient in the environments to make it look more 3D

http://imageshack.us/a/img713/7513/thatgamefirstscene.jpg

I can't really remember what happened after that, I think one level is in a stone temple like place that has a lot of plants, and sand... things like that
The other scene I remember is the final cutscene, you are on a spaceship and something big is happening, then the spaceship blows up (i think), and I remember the guitar from the song 'Bad to the Bone' playing

Here's another rendition of what I remember

http://imageshack.us/a/img10/2589/thegameendingcutscene.jpg

My drawings ended up being more cutesy than I remember the game being, I think the game makers were trying to be gritty or edgy or something idk. If this rings a bell to anyone please reply! =) also you can PM me if you want, I would just like to get the name of the game please, thanks ^.^

Hey, guys! I've got a game that I've been trying to remember the name of ever since I played a demo for it from a PC Gamer demo disc back around 2000-2002. I remember it being a third person RPG similar to Baldur's Gate but with better graphics. I remember in the demo you start out as a mercenary/standard warrior outside of a large, one story building. I remember inside of the building there being a cat folk female that you talk to in order to gather information and to buy weapons and armor. I also remember that you can battle monsters a short distance south, east, and west of the building in order to gain gold. I also remember that north of the building you can proceed through caverns (ice caverns?) of some sort in order to fight stronger enemies and to proceed to the next area. The style of this game was dark color-pallette wise. If anyone has any idea of what this game could be I would be extremely grateful!

Hey guys I'm trying to find the name for an old school PS2 game that was amasingggg.

I cant really remember much of the game since i only rented it for a few days but it was a game about a guy who was in this weird world and you could travel though hundreds ( Maybe it just seemed like hundreds because i was young ) of portals and i think you could even put numbers/letters into some portals and it would take you to a different world where you'd fight monsters for exp and money to go back to the main world and buy items/weapons etc. You also had a weird pig looking thing you could ride and i think you could get different skins for it or buy new weird pig things to ride. This was the biggest 3D game i'd ever found on PS2 and i absolutely loved it. The game seemed pretty animeish aswell.

Alright, So I played this game a long time ago when I lived back in South Africa, in the late 90's, It was the German language version of it, but never the less I remember quite a bit of it, just not the damn name haha. So what I remember was a PC First person RPG game set in a fictional land where the people were actual people, like live action, or they were closely made to look like live human beings. The icon in the bottom is just like that of Doom style I believe where you see your characters face. Now one of the main features was that a bit in you would randomly turn into a monster, 2 kinds, one being a small little guy that runs fast and makes funny noises, or this GIANT strong brute like monster. Now one part I remember was when you get through this forestyish area you got to a cave where you had to fight a giant spider and afterwards rescue this woman trapped by it. Later on in the game you get to go to like a dense forest area after the way is opened up and there are what I believe to remember to be like Cat men. Like I know it is not much to go by but its just something that has been irking me for quite a while. Any help would be appreciated and probably the only way to identify or for someone to remember is the whole transformation part.

Any help would be much appreciate for my vague description of this game lol.

Thanks :D

That sounds like it could've been Star Control 2 (wikilink [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_control_2])

This is likely completely wrong, since it doesn't seem to match up with some of your description, but the only game I can think of where you play a blue ball is Airball. I know it's a long shot, but just in case I figured I'd pass it on.

Uhmm.. I'm gonna post here while reading through the older posts.

There's this game I saw on tv, a show called Game Juice, i think. There was this fps shooter set on a sci-fi theme, I cant remember the platform.

I can only vaguely remember the main character waking up in some room, and he was about to be killed by 2 or 3 guys, when suddenly the door opened and some girl entered and took down those guys in a special agent fashion (im not sure, really. My memories are scrambled).. Then she unties you from the bed and sort of explains the situation. I can remember the main character looking at a mirror and saw his reflection (so maybe the graphics are already high end during that time since there are reflections?).. The guy has no weapon at first, he has this strange arm surrounded by a glowing web of blue light.. if i remember the HUD well, there's this bar at a top corner (not sure if left or right) that indicates the energy level of the power in his arm (this, im not sure, since its a vague memory and i was young back then, getting excited by a lot of video games).. I think the crosshair was dynamic? It kind of shows information about the enemy when it focuses on one, and im not sure if the crosshair disappears if there is no target. Please forgive me, I really cant remember the exact details. I think there's also this boss which looks like a mutated human with long hair and stuff, and in a cut scene he pushes you down on the floor.. oh, and when you run, the screen bobs as if you really are running, unlike other fps where the screen sorts of floats straight through the air :3

please, If anyone knows this game, please tell me. I kind of can't get it out of my mind lately.

Thanks.

EDIT: Nevermind, I found it in the older posts.

Alright, this is for a game that was on the PS2 or XBOX original, though I'm leaning towards the PS2. It was a First Person Shooter, you were some sort of agent and the game started with your guy waking up in a lab of some kind. I remember that the game was really revolutionary at the time because you could see your legs and when you picked up sodas or candy bars for recovery, you had to physically eat or drink the item on screen instead of just a "*bing* health up" type thing. There may have been a fellow female agent with you as well. I'm sorry but this vague memory is all I have to go on.

And it's NOT Cold Winter.
You might be talking about "Breakdown", for xbox.

Okay so I'm going to give all the information I possibly can, you may go ahead and ask for certain information and I'll try my best.

The game is a PC game. I'm not sure if consoles versions were available. The game is an old game. I can't say how old, but it's sort of old.

The game's camera is third person. There are switchable characters present. The game had subtitles (or an option for them), pretty sure.

The graphics and feel of the game were sort of dull. Like, think monotonous. It was supposed to be a sad game, and I could tell it had an actual story to it. The colours were all black-white-greyish, but I can't say there were no colours in the game at all. There was a narrator present, during the cutscenes.

All the information above is something I'm dead sure of. Now for the information I'm hazy on, but I'll try my best.

At the beginning of the game, the narrator says something very much along the lines of
"This is a sad story, with a sad ending and a sad beginning, with little bits of happiness in between."

Now that wasn't the exact line, but you get the idea. It was something like that.

The playable characters (I think there were 3, but I'm really not sure about this) were a girl, a boy and a baby (really not sure, but probably XD). I think we were in an orphanage of some sort... Anyway, there were rooms, hallways and all that. Pretty sure we had objectives and we had to do tasks. Different characters were able to achieve different tasks (for instance, the baby would be able to crawl through small places). Now anything I've told you there could be vague, I'm just giving you bits of what I remember. So if you find ANYTHING close to what I describe here, please tell me.

Oh, and at one point in the game there was a man (or an old guy) throwing stuff at us. Or something.

That's all I can give for now. I hope you can help me out here! Thanks.

I'm looking for an old game i cant remember, i'm not sure if it was also on Windows but i played on the old Mac.

You are flying on stick? or an bird, cant remember but you have to fly over the top on the other birds and then you can kill them, each level gets harder and the birds are getting faster.

Not sure if they were looking like a bird, and i am also not sure if the enemies were also flying on a stick.

I think it was a Egyptian Theme. Like in some of temples or piramydes that's what it look like,

Can someone help me out?

thanks!

Hey, im looking for a game that i played somewhere around 2000-04. The things that i remember are that in the tutorial (The first level) It says "press spacebar to jump" and as you do that a door opens and later on you jump through a window out of the level.
Another level featured a couple of tunnels and some pillars, you could raise and lower these pillars so you could lead a colored droid into the tunnel of their color (there was also water, dont know why tho, you could swim)In some levels there were enemies that when they caught up with you they started bashing you and saying stuff. There were a couple of shooting elements to it but cant remember much.
The entire game was set in a colorful space station, so not very grim and dark.

I've forgotten about an RPG from the PC. If I remember correctly the first level was about a siege or something.

In the character's screen you had the possibility to equip the items collected from the missions(it was not an open world RPG). Also I remember there was a particular mission where I was taken in an island and the inhabitants of that island were looking exactly as the ancient Romans. Also I remember equipping a Roman shield.

The final level was about assaulting a castle where some skeletons fired arrows from the front gates.

and also I have to add that the whole game isn't inspired by the Roman culture, only that particular stage of the game.

I remembered that the game's name starts with the letter 'B'

Hi I came Across this site looking for a game I remember playing when I was a kid. I'd say late 1990's o. The ps1. You were a big muscled man walking around the street and you could smash cars with your fists and the car work would sound and it would start falling apart. You could pick up the car wheel and start smashing the car with it too or to her stuff you find. Pipes etc.. Idk what the objective of the game was I just remember destroying cars.
