...a PC game It was a car game of sorts driving around and arena leaving a coloured trail behind you and you killed other players by getting them to drive into the trail you leave behind. I think the cars and arena were mostly black (or at least the version i had was) and the trail and 'walls' coming from the cars were really bright colours depending on team etc. Like red, orange, green, blue....
Troy, I just realized that your question, the one that started this massive, epic thread, never got answered. Did you ever identify the game you were looking for?

I'm looking for a game that i played around 2005. It was a pc demo game and for some reason I think Dark was in the name. It was kindof a mix between diablo games/ Runescape/ morrowind. You started off in a little town and you could talk to people and buy/sell things. You could fish and youd catch random things like a cheese head hat along with fish that gave you bonus's or turned your dog into something to help you fight monsters. The towns people would give you missions and you'd have to go into this cave thing and fight monsters but in the demo you could only go through a few levels before you couldnt go any further.

That sounds a lot like Fate. Could you also choose a cat? Because I know Fate let you do that.

Hello, I've had a game on my mind for 2-3 weeks now, I'm pretty sure it was on Playstation 1, I remember my father playing it. It starts (I think, not sure if the beginning or somewhere along the story ) in a desert-like place, you are a girl, and you are in a room then you take a bath, and then she looks down the drain how the water goes in, I think it has graphics similar to Dino Crisis or the early Resident Evil's, I remember there was a guy in the game from where you could buy items, and I remember dogs just like in resident evil I think, there was a scene with a dog on a wall if I remember correctly, and a boss... I think there was one similar to the Tyrant, from resident evil, I've checked and I don't think this is a resident evil game. Please help.

HI,

There is a educational pc game I remember playing in the mid to late 90's. What I can remember is you was in some kind of contest, where your given a clue and then have to drive across the United States to find the next clue to know where to go next. You started with some money and had several companions one being a dog to choose from, That also had some money. After picking your companion you would pick a car to rent and buy some food for the trip. While you drive it was in a top down view where you controlled your speed and which way you wanted to go, by following road signs and using a map. You had to watch the speed limit cause you could get pulled over for speeding, and restock your food, gas, and rest when needed your car also had a chance to break down too.

Thats All I can really remember if someone know the name of the game please let me know. Ive tired searching online for it but had no luck. Thank you for your time and help.

I played a computer game in the late 1990s that I can't remember the name of. I still think about it from time to time because of the feelings the game gave me and the memories I have from that time in my life.

I remember the graphics were very well done. You could choose the kind of weird machine you wanted to be--one choice was a sphere. You would start in the middle of nowhere in a strange, otherworldly landscape with strange ruins (maybe?). The landscape would change depending on what level is achieved and/or possibly how long you played. There was a winter landscape and I also think the landscapes would go from day to night.

I remember roaming the landscape looking for a certain number of jewels (I think) and maybe weapons and you would encounter strange monsters of different degrees of evil that you would shoot at. I think you could pick from different kinds of weapons and only certain weapons could kill certain monsters. I remember it was easy to get lost in the various landscapes. If you got killed you would be dropped back in the same place you started in which, as I recall, was one of the drawbacks of the game because it was like starting completly over and it was difficult to remember how to get back to where a power jewel was hidden and you had to battle the same monsters over again to get there.

I remember the landscapes made me feel erie, lonely, sad and addicted while I was playing.

Does anyone know what this game was?

I made an account just to ask this question. There's a.. I want to say it is an RTS game that I played a number of years ago. Nothing too fancy on the graphics side - top down view for the map, sprites for characters and such. Basically you had a castle that constantly generated units.. and you could designate those units to move to certain spots, to either block a tile or just stack up (more units meant stronger 'army', and as you got more in the stack the 'icon' for the army would change). The goal was to attack and destroy the castles of the other players. I think you were able to build farms and such with your army stacks, which would improve the number of units constantly generated at your castle, but I can't be too sure.

The only thing besides that that I can remember 100% for sure is one of the levels or 'scenarios' had everybody's castle as a like, fast food joint. And your soldiers were small fries, then became big fries when the stacks got big enough, and then a hamburger.

Anybody have any idea what game I'm talking about?

Dante's Inferno isn't available for PC
There have to be over 100 isometric PC dungeon crawlers [http://www.allgame.com/style.php?id=180&tab=games&sort=date_asc] made from 2000-2010. Can you remember any more details?

Was 'knight' the only character option?
Could you choose your gender?
Did the entire game take place in hell?
Did you play alone or were there friendly NPCs in your party?
What did the HUD look like? Health and mana or no magic?
Oh God, I don't remember so many specifics. The knight was probably the only character, I don't remember any other. Well I don't think I finished the game, but for the most parts it was in hell.
Health bar should have been in top corner, and as for magic I just don't know.
I'm not sure how much this helps.

There is this game I have been trying to find for YEARS, but I can't seem to be able to find it no matter what I search for.

INFO:

The point of the game was to get from one location of the map to another, whilst avoiding traps and going up and down ladders pretty much all the time. The map never moved, and could be played in 2-played where you occupied the two different sides of your keyboard using the W A S D and arrow keys to move your old Wizard-character with beard and a pointy hat.
This game was brutal, displaying a lot of blood upon dying to one of the traps (like a large rock or spikes).

When playing 2-player, you had to help each other reach point B by pulling levers and what not, so that your friend could cross. It was filled with puzzles.

Console: PC
This game is very old, and in 2D. What on EARTH is it called?

(It looked a little something like http://images.macworld.com/images/legacy/images/content/midnightmansion.jpg )

I will love whoever comes up with this game.

I know this is kind of a shot in the dark but here it is. I remember this game I don't know for sure from which year does it date I played it about 7 years ago. It was set in mediveal times and it was a fantasy 2d rpg game from the top view so you would move around the map until the fight starts kinda like final fantasy it was turn-based. I remember that somwhere at the start you were in a camp in the forest and you had to go through a path and then you were attacked by a spider like monster which was quite hard to kill.
Somwhere through the game you would pick up other charachters and form a gang. Don't take me for this but i think when they die they would like die forever. The part I a rembeber the most is when you were in a kingdom of somekind the king(or Lord or queen let's just say the ruler) announced a competition of somekind where they hid something in a for or a castle and 2 groups had to go in to find it. You then entered the castle and begin the search i think the item was a key. I remember it had some kind of cutscenes and I think the main plot was about rescuing a girl. I would appracite it if somoene could respond with any kind of soulution it would mean a world to me you can message me or respond here thanks in advance.

The platform was pc

Here's one for you: It was a collection of old games, I think 100 titles in total. Ran on PC, Windows 95, I think. It included the whole Hugo's House of Horror's series, but I can't remember what any of the other games were, only that I liked several of them. Any ideas on the name of the collection?

I need help remembering a arcade game from the late 80's to early 90's. It was a marital arts/ninja type game where you fought 1 on 1 and the people had different weapons. I remember one was a lady with a fan that threw knives out of it. Any thoughts? People have tried telling me King of Fighters but I do not recall the graphics being that good.
