Many years ago, when my parents surprised me with a computer for my birthday, there was a game on it... I really enjoyed playing it and now I can`t remember its name... and that`s killing me.
It starts in a circus... and you fight the first boss in a little dark room full of barrels with gunpowder.
Then the second part`s /where I always died/ boss is a spiderlady... she wore purple clothes and had something like a spider on her head... or maybe her haircut looked as if it was a spider.
And when it came for the boss fight... she turned into a huge spider.... and that`s where the game was over for me.
I`d be really grateful if you could tell me the name of the game - thanks in advance for the time spent!
PS: It`s not KISS: Psycho circus, I checked! :(

It sounds like a CD-ROM based game that had to access the disc in order to play cutscenes. I don't think this is what you're talking about but perhaps it will jog some memories and you'll remember more details.

Maybe someone remembers this one .. should be from around 1990?

Game was a racing simulator(?) ... where player would fly some kind of hovercraft on race tracks, that looked like trenches shaped like this \__/.
The whole track, or at least the turns consisted of red and white polygons/tiles ... kind of like the red/white curbs on the sides of Formula1 track turns.
The tracks were closed circuits, sometimes going into tunnels. Track had a 'pit lane' - so you could repair the craft if you bumped it too much against other players or track walls.
The game was single player, as far as I remember.
Sound - I dont remember ... just know I was playing it listening to Erasure album Wild! all the time. Now every time I hear a song from that album - I remember the game, but have no clue about its name.

Anybody?

Thanks.

I need help finding a game's name.it is a PC game. I played it maybe 10 years ago. It's a game where you build your own army on a small base on a large map and attack the enemy base which I think was alien but you had to search for their base first. It's army guys remind me of avatars huge 1 manned super robot and their plane/helicopter. Please help!

What is the name of this game?

It's bothering me so much.

I played it for either the PS1 or PS2. It was very difficult and fairly violent. It was a very Japanese game. Kinda like RPG style. I remember the name being like oshimoru or something like that. It was pretty popular from what I remember and I've been trying to look it up for weeks.

It had a part of the game where there were floors and each floor was progressively harder. The game seemed almost impossible at the time of me playing it, but I want to try again, and I don't have the game anymore. Please help!

Thanks so much.

Hello

I am looking for old DOS game where you had space ship and you went to different planets to buy stuff and then you would choose different planet where you could sell it and make income. There was other people doing the same and you had some kind of race with them.

Greetings!
Ok this was for snes I think, you start in some kind of underground mine, from where you are trying to scape, there are elevators and doors to pass through, you see diying slaves trapped with chains and you can actually kill them. There's a moment when you can scape the mine and go on in a strange forest. Monsters will try to kill you, and don't remember anything else well.
Some help?

Based on your guess of the name alone, I'd say Onimusha, probably the 2nd one.
Onimusha 2
Strange, for a PS2 game, it certainly reminds me a lot of Demon's/Dark Souls.

Yes the whole animation system looked like that and it did have a play CD, but that game wasn't famous or part of a series, it was propably a very bad game and it came bundled with my pc. Do you know any site to find games like that? Or what should i google for exactly?

How weird, I was just looking up DOS games for a friend last night and came across these titles. Granted, there are more space exploration/trading titles on DOS and C64 than we realize; it's amazing just how ambitious games were back then on such limited hardware.

Maybe it's Hard Nova [http://dsob.wordpress.com/2009/05/05/hard-nova-retrospective/].

Then again, maybe it's Sentinel Worlds I: Future Magic [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sentinel_Worlds_I:_Future_Magic]. There's more linked in Wikipedia from that era. You have Elite, although it wasn't for DOS, Star Trader (that game is probably too old), Iron Seed, Starflight....

Since it would probably be better for you to search directly, I'll tell you how I found one game in particular.

Somebody asked for a game about piloting a submarine, and there was a miniature town on the bottom of the ocean that was so small, your house gets crushed by an empty soup can that a human tosses from his boat. And then you have to perform salvage missions. The actual description in the thread was longer, but I found that game in less than 15 minutes despite never playing it. I used three words:

Game, Submarine, Salvage

It was #6 from the top in Google lol. I would start by searching for sentences like 'classic pc games' or 'DOS games', that sort of thing. And of course, if you remember any more details, it can't hurt to post it back here. Some people would refer to asking others as 'the power of the internet'. I prefer the term The Wisdom of Crowds [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Wisdom_of_Crowds].

Thanks for helping but it is none of these. The Graphic in the game was kind of "advanced" and the plan was buy cheap then look statistics where the item you bought is expensive go there and sell it. Between planets or asteroids you had sub sequences one I remember was a guy asking that you give him money and he will return it after 3 days he looked nice so he returned the money and gave some extra. But there was also shady looking thugs who did not return your money. I don't know if this is helping at all. This is all I remember.

And there was no combat at all just buying and selling.

Does anyone remember that computer game- where your player is like a chess piece with a head that you can choose, and ur stuck on a volcano with other players, and u have to start in the center and escape to the helicopter thing? It was like a game where it has 6 or so tracks from the center and depending on what colour u land on is a different subjects question. It was like a quiz game or something, and everyone was like addicted to it? It also had like a castle version i think... Does anyone know the remember the name of it? Cos i totally wanna replay it lol!

This computer game had a space station on a planet with different characters assigned different duties on the home based ship where they would either build a protection robot, build a better bedroom while sometimes having to leave the chore they were doing and fight off different aliens, Someone learned to be a cook, etc,,
It was on a personal computer disc game not on any of the game boxes, and it could of been in the 80s/90's.. I am hoping the company updated it and it is out today.
Thanks for the help.
