I'm looking for following:

PSX or Xbox game - I recall playing it around year 2004
Fighting game similar to the Mortal Kombat series (without being a MK game haha)
VERY explicit and gorey - you might lose limbs (as in both arms and a leg) and still 'fight'
I recall some/all characters to be able to fly. I think there was a female character with 'wings'
Similar to MK, one level starred meat grinders that triggered an instant death.

The game was in 3d

Thanks in advance. Cheers :)
There was BIOFREAKS that sounds similar to what you described but it was on the N64

Yes, that's it! I have a bad memory, impressing that you guessed it - thanks!

Parrapa the Rapper or Um Jammer Lammy, maybe? Was singing the focus or just something that happened in the opening cinematic?

There was a old game i dont remember the name of, it started with you choosing a picture out of 5 or 6 differnet picture, and you gave it a name, and that was sort of you. one of the pictures was like a grim reaper or something. The point of the game was that you were the leader/chief of a village, and you had to make different choices about what animals, and how many to slaughter to give the villagers food trough the year.

some small quizes that determined how well the winter and stuff like that went, how many people died and got born.

You could also sometimes go to a market and trade food, steel and wood(or somehting like that)

It was more or less a point and click game, or clikc and choose or something like that, it was no animations, only cartoonish drawings.

If i would guess how old it was, i would have to guess around the age of 1998-2003 maybe?

Hey all,

I am trying to remember this game I must have played over 10 years ago. I think it was for the Playstation. I'm not sure. I seem to recall it being an RPG. One of the antagonists was a red spiky haired dude and when you were fighting in battles, you had to input moves (like up up down left etc). I think one of the characters was named Vaughn. Sorry I don't have more to go on!

Ok, so it was an old PC game I wanna say in the late 90's early 2000's. It was a first person maze game in a medieval setting. You started down in the village and worked your way up to the castle level by level. You had to find keys in each level in order to progress and there were enemies in each level to avoid. I think there were like rats or bats in the early levels and then knights and stuff in the later ones. Early 3D graphics, all the characters were very boxy and relatively low res textures on the walls. No idea where I got it, it may have been on one of those game of the month discs or something idk. Thanks ahead of time.

I found out what it was called: Legend of Legaia! The main character's name was Vahn*.
Yep, you could rename him though. Red haired guy was Songi and the battle directions were called Artes.

Just found this thread and wondering if anyone can help. I remember playing an old game, NES sort of era on a gamejoy so I don't really know what system it was on, but the game started with you, a pixelated short man standing on top of a train. The woman you are trying to rescue is in the drivers cabin below you and to get to her you need to traverse the entire roof of the train and then into the train, then back again. I really can't remember much else except after you have completed the train part, you are put on a birds-eye map view of yourself on an island I think. Take everything I described with a pinch of salt as I barely remember this so I am sorry. Anyone know of it or something that may be it?

Thanks for the reply, but that's not it. I kind of remember very short sprites used, like the early zelda games, and the movement was pretty fast paced. This game has been bugging me for years...

I got one,
It was much more of a little kid game, I used to play it all the time.
It is a game where you play as a young girl and you have to walk around a house talking to all the appliances and furniture. From what I remember you were trying to stop the house from running away. at some point in the game it actually does just get up an walk away. I remember the game featured the song "Mr. Lonely" because that was the first time I had heard it. if it helps, one scene a remember the most is when the girl is singing in a purple bedroom or something, my sister remembers that song or one of the songs being about pickles. it was sort of a point and click, but there weren't really any puzzles, just things you could interact with.

There was this old PC game, very basic. it was like a first person shooter with a blank white screen. you have to wait for this man to pop up somewhere random on the screen and shoot him before he shoots you. if you get shot, the screen turns bloody red and you lose. anyone have a clue?. its something like a gunslinger style and very basic.

It was a Playstation game circa 1998 or later. I think the Chemical Brothers did the soundtrack. U r a spaceship in a wormhole. U can go 360 degrees around the inside and have to avoid these alien bugs. U get boosts by going over these yellow arrow type things. It was one of my fave games and I would like 2 buy it since I used 2 rent that one back in the day. As u progress thru the levels u move faster. Does this ring a bell with anyone? I tried googling all of this to no avail...I'd love if someone could help me out. :)

It isn't one of the wipeout games is it? that fits the Chemical Brothers soundtrack and boost arrows don't know what one has a wormhole level or the alien bugs you have to avoid.

I know this is old but if someone could help it would be great, anyway, when i was somewhere between the age of 6-8 me and my brother multi-played on PC a game where you are worm kinda things and you have a huge arsenal of weapons (no it isn't any of the worms series) and in the game all the landscape was destructible apart from the odd spec or two and it was utter chaos. I thought it was called Nero but I can't find anything along those lines. It was a side on game if that helps, and not turn based
