Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone remembered the name of the game in psx where u choose a vehicle to join in a free for all match against other vehicles. All vehicles have certain special abilities and classifications. You can also collect weapons such as missiles to use against other opponents. I remember it has a 2-player option and take your battles til final levels of stages vs boss vehicles. Thanks in advance :)

I've been looking for this game for like 4 years obsessively. I came across this post, so I figured, it's worth a shot.

It was on Floppy Disk, probably around the Windows 95-98 time. I believe it was a 3-4 disk set. Very pixilated and like 2-3D action. Low quality. Creepy narration.
There are multiple sections I have memory of:

1. You were a boy who woke up on the beach with almost no memory with subtitle type narrations on the bottom on the screen.
2. The boy had to pick from a selection of like 6 weird dolls from a shelf in (what I remember to be) a carnival.
3. Then I remember something involving potions.
4. And wizards shooting lasers in some form of black & white grid. (like a chess grid where the lasers are coming out of the walls and you have to dodge the lasers to do something involving a wizard.)
5. I also remember him having to drink something.
6. And in the beginning of the game he finds a bottle with a letter in it. (Or maybe a map or something)

I can't think of anything else right now. But seriously, anyone who thinks of the answer to this is going to make my life complete.
I also remember that I played it when I played where in the world is Carmen Sandeago.
I have no idea if you found the name or not but you helped me cuz i was looking for it for years too..the dolls helped me..but the name is THE SECRET ISLAND OF DR. QUANDARY (spelling could be off but that's it.) hope it helps

Hello to everyone!!

I'm so glad I found this site! I have been looking for a long time a PS2 game, with no results. This is what I remember about it:

- You played with a group of proffesional robbers
- For each mission you had to choose which members you wanted to use, each one with different abilities
- Depending on the mission the number of usable characters changed - from three to five I think
- During the mission you had to switch between characters, it wasn't multiplayer
- It had a split screen to see all the characters you were using
- The first mission was a museum heist with a time limit, it needed to be a stealthy robbery
- After the missions the characters you used gained xp points to improve their skills
- It was non-lineal, after you completed a mission you had three or four heists with different difficulty to choose
- There was another mission in a castle and at the beggining of it you were trapped in the basement

The only game that has something to do with this I've found is 'The Plan', but after watching some videos I'm 100% sure it's not the game I'm looking for.

I hope you can help me! This has been bugging me for a long time! Thank you all in advance!
I think its the plan? EDIT: Really? Because that one sounds so close. My browser loaded the rest of your post now I read the not the Plan portion of the comment.

Hi all, I remember playing 90s games on my PC. Its about plane shooter (arcade type). It has 3D graphic. First we choose 4 jet (I remember one of the is F-16) and we fight through some level. There's a boss in every level. And the last level was on space, the setting of the stage more or less looks like death star on star wars tome.

Thanks before for the help :)

Sounds a lot like Aero Fighters Assault, you could choose between 4 planes with different abilities, one was an F16, and every level had a boss. I liked it a lot back in the day.

Not sure if it's for PC though, I think it's Nintendo 64 only.

I'm looking for an older game maybe around 2000 or soemthing, I think it was an indie game.

-Topdown/isometric shooter
-Main character was a redhaired woman
-The game was rather bloody and there were a ton of weapons, I remember a sawbladelauncher
-The story was about time traveling, at one point you had to be a nazi
-One time period had several levels, you were visiting wars, world war 2 and vietnam for example
-One endboss was a Helicopter, I think it was at the end of the world war 2 stages
-next to normal enemys there were also engineers, who laid mines and in some of the vietnam missions you had to dodge artillery strikes.

I knew it was from fallen angles, found it myself, called Factor X

So, I don't remember a whole lot about the game, but hopefully this is enough. It was from the Windows 95-98 days. You would pick up a junk car and try to fix it up. You could go to a junkyard and buy new parts for it. When you worked on it, you had control over pretty much everything. You even had to take off nuts and bolts yourself. If you tried to take off a pulley before a belt, it wouldn't let you. The mechanics of the engines in the game were completely accurate to a real life car. You could also change things like the headlights, spoiler, quarter panels, paint, etc. I think the parts you got from the junkyard were just like in real life- a different color piece than your car actually was. If anyone could help me figure out what game this is, I would be so happy.

Okay, so I've been trying non-stop to find this game and it is driving me INSANE. My boyfriend says I'm crazy and this game is all in my head, so I really want to find it!! Lol. This is seriously a shot in the dark, because of how little I remember, but who knows..
I don't have any idea what console it was on I'm guessing PS1 or gamecube MAYBE. I have no idea.
The opening scene was these fairies and creatures running away while this darkness or some kind of corruption takes over this forrest area and kills all the plant life and turns everyone into monsters and what not.
All I remember from game play was that it was a 3D style game that you had to kill these things, either a stone/crystal thing or some kind of plant spore that was corrupting an area, while being attacked by the creatures that had been corrupted and when you destroyed the corruption, the monsters would turn back to normal. I think I remember the people in the game were kind of small considering that they were humanoid, but I'm not sure. I think the main character was a fairy, but I could be wrong about that, too. It will drive me crazy if I don't figure this out soon. Anything would be VERY much appreciated.

I need help.
I have been thinking about this old computer game I played (c. early 2000's, although the game had been around longer), [it was on a Mac(I know...), when they were colorful and as big as commercial air filters], and it has popped in and out of my mind for years but I am now determined to find it, or so help me god, I will not sleep tonight.
The game was a bird's eye view RPG. You chose a team of MAX 4 characters and they could be human, feline, or reptile.
It was medieval, melee, magic-related game... with portals.
I tried Google search to no avail. If anyone has a clue... I'd be happy.

Hi Guys,

Not sure if you can help.

My dad had a Compaq Laptop about 15 years ago, it was either Windows 95 or 98. It had a 2 player game on it where both players would try to kill the other using traps.

One of the types of traps included was a noose trap where you would be hung if you stepped on it.

The players went up and down ladders to get to different platforms.

There were lots of other types of traps but I can't remember them.

Any help would be massively appreciated...

Was it Lode Runner? The goal isn't exactly to kill each other, but there are ladders and noose traps etc. ( http://www.mobygames.com/images/shots/l/5319-lode-runner-the-legend-returns-windows-3-x-screenshot-brown.gif )

Hallo,

I'm looking for a game from the '90s.
In the game you 'walked'(the player wasn't human) through something like of maze with electic obstacles.
I think you had to rescue creaturs but i'm not sure of that.
I hope you can help me.

Hello everyone!

As always , I remember the story but not the name of the game. The game is quite old - early 90's. Player have a tank, the first mission begins in the desert (well, not a desert - there were hills everywhere - lets say a hilly area), the action is probably in the future. Also there are white crystals around - if you collect them - your tank can fly (yes , this tank can fly :)) but ofcourse not for along time. At first everything is quite - in this desert there ere two zones - people everywhere , also they can sit inside the tank. Also we can see time - when it expires, everything becoming dark/green and out of nowhere alot of giant birds appear. Also I remember that at the end of this first mission if you want to pass to the second level - then you must to fly through the circles which are above the ground. I will be glad if someone could help me to remember the name of this game!

Thanks in advance!

I have a very vague memory of a game that I would love if someone could help me identify. Sadly, I don't have many details. I played it with my Grandpa sometime in the early to mid nineties. All I remember is being inside of some kind of library ish building? Maybe? The only thing that really stands out is when it was "game over," someone/something would drag a woman (I think) off screen.

And that's all I got.
