Hello everyone!

I'm trying to remember the name of a game I used to play on hot seat multiplayer with my brother. It wasn't a mainstream game (even at the time), although I can't remember where I found it... You played as a space soldier (or something like that) and it had a top-down view. There were different weapons and objectives on each of the levels but basically you had to defend a base from Aliens. And I remember that the soundtrack was basically MIDI and the title screen had a very cartoon-ish (almost anime, actually) drawing of a space soldier in a green armour and a bandana.
It was a really cool game, but I can't remember it's name... If anyone knows, please tell me :)

OK, I have one that I have an incredibly vague memory of and one that I have a slightly less vague memory of...off we go!!!

The first game was a game for either PSX or early PS2 (leaning more toward PSX). I think it was a survival horror game? I recall you being alone in one giant structure, a recurring character/ally who eventually mutates, the environment getting gradually more...meaty? (like in Dead Space where the walls become like they're alive), a boss on top of a tower that you had to shoot down, and a gap that was really difficult to jump so that me and my dad ended up calling the "hint line" (which is why I think it was PSX because they had that shit back then). Anyway, sorry for the vagueness.

The second game was a stealth? game that I remember you could get an uber-powerful taser that could demolish enemies (it wrapped around them like a snake weirdly enough if I recall correctly), the first level had a boss with a flamethrower, and the second level I remember you couldn't get caught and the guards were wearing tuxedos (I never got past that level because I was like 7).

Any help remembering these two is greatly appreciated. Their vagueness levels are over 9000, but maybe somebody knows what I'm talking about.
2. Syphon Filter? It has a taser and a flamethrower boss. ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gPvsUKZ1Cnc )

Yep. That's definitely it. Thank you so much!

Now if only I knew what the first game was, my life could finally be complete.

Hello, I am a new here and I am desperate finding one game I use to play long a go. Sorry for noob mistakes in advance. I hope someone of you will help me :)

It is a platform game, action genre. I played it in 1998. on PC. It has approximately 10 levels.

You play as a man/soldier handling gun struggling his way to final boss. First level you start in town, battling with some aliens/creatures. Second level is on some unfinished building (construction with couple of floors). Third level is in the forest (here you can have assistance from some levitating head sized robot who shots at your enemies). Eventually at the end, you meet boss who is a some kind of doctor/scientist in laboratory complex room (last level). He turns in some kind of monster (I think he turns into some monster like boar ??? remembering guess)

Any help is appreciated. Thank you all.
Hello, I am looking for the same game for years now. I played this game a lot, however, I was like 6 years old, so I think I couldn't get through the 4th level (which looked like the town from the 1st level).

As nobody has found out what's it yet, I have some more clues:
There was a civilian on every level who you could save. On the first level you had to go up a building which had a broken window. You could go through that window and there were a teleport inside (I think that took you to the civilian). On the third level (in the forest) the civilian was on the right side of the level (she was a girl). I can remember 4 types of enemies: on the first level a small purple pacman-like thing that jumped towards you and a lizard-man like green thing with big eyes. On the second level there were only one type of enemy, a big red insect thing running on two legs and it could be transformed into fire. If it was in "fire mode" (I don't know how should I call that), it could hurt you, but couldn't hurt it. The 3rd and 4th level had the same enemies as the 1st, but on the 4th there were a very little green slime sliding on the ground. The only thing you could do with it is to jump it through. You could jump or crouch down, but you could only shoot forward, so the slime was too small to shoot it.

I hope someone will find out what's that game, I really want to play it again.

PS: Sorry for the grammar problems.
Hello friend, I found it :D

Game name is Bio Menace ;)
I am playing it now :)

I'm looking for a game I can't remember the name.
I've just searched on google in countless ways, but I didn't find.
* I used to play it by 12~15 years ago.
* It's a PC Strategy game, like Age of Empires, and the same top to down view.
* In this one you control a Blue team against a Red team.
* The caracteres look like stone or clay. They are Grey and Blue, or Grey and Red.
* When they are stopped, they turn into a Pyramid that brights in blue and give you mana.
* They turn into a soldier just to walk or atack and turn back into a pyramid.
* These are the simple army, but you can transform your basic unit (that one who looks like a clay man and change to pyramid when stops) in Clerics, Griffin, Dwarfs (they have a hammer and a cap, but they don't look like a D&D Dwarf, they look like a Snow white dwarf, but ugly) and others... I also remeber a creature that looks like Medusa e maybe there are Gargoyles too.
* I don't remember clearly, but I think you also can transform a unit in stone towers.

Well, I think who played this game will remember it just because the basic walking pyramids / stone(clay) men units.
I've been looking for this game for ages... After reading your description it helped me in my search.
I went through several pages and saw no one has answered you. (Maybe someone has but I didn't see it).
I even made an account just to do this, without further ado:

Blood and Magic
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blood_&_Magic

I'm downloading it as I type, pretty excited to play this game again. I remember playing it rarely at my Grandparents house.

Enjoy!

Hi guys, I remember playing this game when I was about 8 or 9 (am 20 in a few days) and I remember starting off outside of a house/tree house thing in the middle of a desert and then you went into an old mine, I'm not sure if there was any combat but thats all I've got for now :/. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Edit, It was on a demo disc with a tony hawks game or something similar and it was either a ps1 or ps2 game

Assuming it's a Neversoft game, maybe Gun? (ps2) ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpnTeAAQQY4 )

(Was it ON a Tony Hawk disc, as a demo? Or was it on a Demo disc WITH Tony Hawk (and other demos)? :p )

I'm not sure but it definitely wasn't a shooter that I can remember, seemed like more of an exploration game, and it had mine carts if i'm remembering correctly but I dont remember being able to ride them. Also I dont know which way around it was with the demo's but the disc didn't have any art on it just was a blue colour if that helps at all.

There's a game that I played when I was younger but can't remember the name. It was for PS1 or PS2. The cover was all black with a sword on the cover (if I remember right). The game was an RPG game with a guy that traveled through different places (or worlds, can't remember)with a sword that took on different characteristics. Unfortunately my memory is very vague. Each place traveled through was like another level of the game. One place was like a circus type setting with evil beings and there was a sword covered with poison ivy that could be used. Another thing I remember is the last place or level of the game was in a cave where you had to kill a dinosaur type creature. This was a horror action type of game. Anyone have any idea what game I am thinking of?

I am surprised this thread is still active, I have found quite a few games from my childhood, but there is one I still can't find. It was a point and click adventure game that was really similar to maniac mansion but may have been a third party rip off of it. It was either on win95 or 98. It was halloween themed. There were 2 main floors and on the top floor to the right there was a laboratory that had an assistant similar to an "Igor" type hunchback. From what I remember this game was fairly easy to die in, once you die you have to start completely over. There was also a dog that was next to a trapdoor, I think you had to use a whistle or meat to get past it. Any help would be appreciated.

That kind of sounds like Devil May Cry, but it wasn't an RPG.

Okay this is Really Vague But it's all i can remember.

Like over 10 years ago probably, It was a game for the Pc, A demo i'm pretty sure, but it had a top facing down view like the old zelda games (I think). You were a boy, and you had a sword i think(Maybe not) You had to go around and collect things.

The graphics were sorta cartoony, At one point in the game, A witch or something can curse you and you become a frog, But you can reverse it with a certain power or item, But if you didn't have that you couldn't reverse it.

The life is show as hearts and you can gain more, But when you become a frog you only get one heart.

Sorry for the little detail, but that's all i can recall.

Hey there, I'm here to try and find an old 3d "point and click" adventure with quick time events.
The details I know about it is as follows:

- It was a PC game from 1995-2000. The game had 3 cds which you had to switch.
- It featured some decent 3D graphics from what I recall.
- It had a live action intro in which a military guy told you your mission and that it was to save the world.
- You were placed on an island and tasked with finding 3 alien keys.
- You had to move around and react to quick events such as sinking in a swamp or being attacked by aliens/dinosaurs and a giant toad.
- You moved around in some sort of robot. You had to click a panel to turn to your left and right, and to move forward and backwards.
- You had 3 weapons; rockets, laser and a third - you had to react quickly and choose the right one when attacked.
- Failure would result in you going of as a nuclear bomb - a video of the island blowing up would play.

Have wracked my brain on this one can't figure it out.

2d sidescrolling platformer in the vein of the old Apogee platformer. PC game, I remember it being shareware.

Blue protagonist in the shape of a rectangle with only 3 sides (you basically look like a big mouth with eyes). You have a whole family that looks just like you, with small varying characteristics like long hair, lipstick for the mom and sis...

In the beginning your house burns down and you go on a quest.
