Hello everyone, I tried to search for a particular, quite old PC game but I just can't find it anyhow.Maybe you can help
-Turn based mix of RPG/RTS
-You first chose from knight/mage/archer
-The fighting screen was looking somewhat like a card game. There were 8 slots for each side to fill with soldiers represented by their portraits. One row of 4 for melee, second one for mages/archers. The soldiers could perform one or two actions represented by a simple, red circle icon with either swords, arrows or... skull thingy. The amount of damage was made visible by slowly filling their portraits with red
-Both you and the soldiers could level up, you could even choose distinct evolution paths for them to create a versatile squad
-Most of the time you had a city where you could recruit lv1 soldiers, buy items and get healed
-On the world map you walked with your hero somewhat like in HOMM
-The game mostly consisted of a single-player campaign with missions getting really hard later, making you engaged and satisfied with every battle won, especially when you leveled up your precious soldiers (losing too many of them means it's over, as level 1 soldiers were quite weak, and there was often a time limit)
-The hero and soldier portraits were photos, so it wasn't any kind of anime game for sure, and they were really classical, looking like a real-world medieval army.
Thanks in advance

I'd really love to play this little gem, as I already replayed almost all of my favourite SNES/PSX games and I'm hungry for some more retro gameplay
