I used to play this game, It was a 2D Action/Adventure RPG. You had a map, and it was the style where to move, you had to click on a directional arrow. You could find treasure from killing monsters, and then sell/buy armor or weapons from a player made auction. I think you might have had energy as well. Combat was turn based, and you just clicked an "ATTACK" Button

This game is on PC. Any Ideas?

I remember this old pc game that I used to play when I was young. I can remember the thumbnail to the game being like, the head of the main character, being a black and white dog. In the game, you play as this black and white dog, or I think you can choose character between different animals, and in the first level, you live on an island, and every character/animal has their own child, and they all get kidnapped. Then I remember the next level (which I think is the second, from memory) is in like, a skyscraper, & you have guns, & the enemies are like, other dogs, in suits. It is a 3d game. That's all I can remember, hopefully someone knows what i'm talking about, because I can't find in anywhere on google...

Alright so I remember playing a game years ago on PC with some-what 8bit graphics, and I really liked it. For about 2 years now I've been trying to find this game but I've had no luck.
It was an RPG. There are 5 friends in the starting of the game, a blond haired sword fighting man, his green haired elf girlfriend, another red-haired girl, another man I can't really recall, and a green slime/sludge creature which is a sidekick/pet of the swordfighter.

These friends start out together and fight enemies together but then we reach a point in the game where they all have to go their separate ways, so we have to choose any one character to proceed with the game.
The swordfighter goes his separate way to take swordifighting training, and his sludge pet goes with him. The elf, and the unknown man, not too sure. The red-haired woman goes her separate way to train herself with magic and spells and such. Now there comes a time in the story where the elf girl misses her swordfighter boyfriend and leaves everything behind to re-unite with him. Once they're back together, the couple spends more time with each other and the sludge pet feels left out, so the sludge runs away and goes his separate path. There was one such quest for the sludge's story where it has to fight these brown earth monsters called Golems and retrieve a certain amount of Golem heads in order to complete the quest.

This is all I remember, and I was never able to complete the storyline because my PC was formatted years ago.

Please help me out.
Bump..
Any help would be much appreciated, I really, really want to find this game..

The game I played when I was younger was kind of like Age of Empires. The only things I can remember about it include caged fire breathing dragons(or some type of fire breathing animal) and when a character from the opposite team was killed you could revive them, a fat looking man with a book would come and do something magical or something LOL, and keep them as your own to control. The last time I played it was 2006 or before I think, if that helps lol. So it's a pc game from 1999ish-2006 .. I think that narrows it down a bit ?

Okay, I've been stalking this thread for ages now catching up, and I'm usually pretty good at googling the games I vaguely recall by myself, but I'm stuck at this one darn game and I can't get any results on this. I promise I'll help out later, too!

Okay so my memory is hazy but I remember the game was a sort of rpg style, for the PS2 (I'm almost certain it's PS2, if not then PS1). But the whole "thing" about it is that you have to replay the game again and again, each time with a different character with their own storyline and past. So you start off with one default character, do the entire thing, blah blah then you start over with another character, rinse and repeat till it leads to a big finale. The plot as far as I recall was that there is a shipwreck at a sort of abandoned castle/island place and you and the survivors have to battle your way through everything. There were various characters, I think I remember a little girl or a woman abandoned/orphaned? I can't recall right now... The graphics weren't spectacular but it wasn't JRPG style, it wasn't anime/manga inspired, cause I keep getting JRPG's and euuuugh google is failing me.
Sounds like Orphen? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orphen:_Scion_of_Sorcery

Edit: I know you said it wasn't a JRPG, just I'd played Orphen a year or so ago and the story is very similar to what you explained :p
Oh my god, it is!!! Wow, I never remembered it this way! That's somewhat disappointing for my memory. But that's it, thank you :D You solved an ancient mystery between my mum and I :p (we were the main players of the game)

Hi all
There's a arcade game i used to play in the late 90's.
I am googling and failing dismally. I hope someone can remember it.
It is a vertical-scroller but in the style of R-Type. In the 1st stage you drive a "car". And i remember there is a road that ends and you need to jump across. In the 2nd stage you are now in plane with power ups that give you drones much like R-Type.
Help

I'm looking for a weird (and fairly old) PS2 game in which you play as a woman who, at a certain point in the game, has to fight against giant gingerbread men in a weird city.
I also remember some "space" elements within the game. And if it helps I also remember the game being insanely hard.
Please help

One of the Timesplitters games (think Gingerbreadman might be in all of them) ( http://www.giantbomb.com/timesplitters/3025-271/ )

(Also there are plenty of "space elements" in the series, aswell as female protagonists)

You play there as a blue alien that eats or does some stuff to some thing and than he can transform into some other alien forms. like lava or something like that. Game graphics are like an animation movie.
I remember downloading an demo of this game in mofunzone.
Does anybody know this games name?

Hi,
I'm looking for a one player game for ps1 where you could chooseone of a few playable characters(needed to unlock some). I remember playing a character named "Mama" or something(he was a dude) and you went around with a (laser)gun which you'd find upgrades to, thus making the beam thicker. You started in a center with 4 ways to go, but 3 of them you'd need keycards to enter, which you found through the open one. When you walked down one way it would broaden to a bigger room with several smaller rooms at the sides, turrets and enemies. I think some of the rooms had health and uprades, and some with secret ways of hetting in. Think there were some posters at the walls that you could shoot to get to the secret rooms. The wiew was directly(or at least)above the character. I also think that he was wearing a singlet.

That is all that I have for information, and I do believe this might be a hard one to crack.
All help sincerely appreciated.

Hey there!
I'm searching for a paticular 2D-Retro-game that I've played with my sisters around 1995-2002

here's a poorly drawn picture
http://www.directupload.net/file/d/3790/2n2etsme_png.htm

I remember these things:

- you could play 1vs1 against a friend on one PC (Windows 95, 98, ME) and choose a red or blue "ball", which was your "character". The goal was to shoot your opponent down a few times

- The game was in side view

- you could choose different fighting-arenas

- You could jump on different plattforms in that arena

- I think it was in a Christmas-Theme - the "balls" had a christmas hat (Santa hat)

- There were several weapons you could pick up, like a rocket launcher (or even a jetpack)

- There were Propellers (see picture bottom) that pushed you away if you got to close to them but you could also get through them if you had a good momentum

- I think in the main menu there was rudolph the red nosed reindeer but it hadn't got something to do with the game itself. I think it was just an advertising for another game

My sisters and me are searching for a few years now - so you are my last hope. Sorry for my bad english.
Cheers!

I can only remember the beginning of this game (it was all my older brother would let me play), and I'd love to finally complete it, but I can't for the life of me remember the name or scratch up any details beyond the first half hour of the game. At this point, I'm not even sure if it's real, but here we go. From what I remember, you played a boy who lived in a village that was next to a large, ominous wall. The wall apparently held back all the evil and monsters in the world. In the beginning of the game, you were introduced to the mechanics by doing random little missions for the villagers, and after you completed them all, the wall broke and you were sent away from the village to face the evil that escaped (or where you sent to the other side of the wall? I can't quite remember. I think you were blamed for the wall breaking or were directly responsible or something). From what I can call to memory, the game had a somewhat pixilated appearance, and took place next to an ocean. I probably played it on the Playstation 1, since that was the only console we owned (though my brother's best friend at the time had a Nintendo and Super Nintendo that he sometimes let us borrow). I'd really appreciate any information you can offer.
