Hey I'm looking for a game that was released between the late 90's-2001. It's a racing game that was set in a post apocalyptic setting where you built your vehicle that had weapons on it and you could run over pedestrians as well as zombies you found underground. There were other opponents you wasted as well. However the races were in cities only. No desserts or anything else. It is a pc game for Windows that was played with a joystick and had two game modes only, free for all and timed racing(?) It's similar to Carmageddon but not the same. Anyone have any knowledge of the name to this game? It's been driving my mum and me nuts since it was a game we use to play all the time back in the day.

Okay so there's this old game, well not that old. I played it about 5-8 years ago. It's a 2D RPG where you play as this girl who I think has lost her memory. I only played a like 1 hour trial version of it, but as far as I got in the beginning of the game I think she was like a priestess or something before she forgot who she was, then she went to this city and found out she could do magic and that's about where the trial stopped. It's turn based, and has a very final fantasy type feel to the combat and I've been looking for that game for a while. Haven't been able to find it yet though.

Might be Aveyond I: Rhen's Quest. Some of the details don't match, but it's close.

If not Carmageddon, it could be Carmageddon 2: Carpocalypse Now or Carmageddon 3: TDR 2000.

If not, there are a few other possibilities. Quarantine is a little bit older, but was still around by the late 90s in some form.

Interstate '82 had more of a desert feel.

Necrodome had a feature where you could actually get out of your vehicle.

There's also Vigilante 8 or the Twisted Metal Series.

I remember playing that PC game but cannot remember the name and multiple google searches did not find one. So it must have been the early 1990s. You were walking or driving around in point of view style without seeing yourself. You could travel from one island (?) to another. Each of them had a different setting, one was quite Egyptian, one was more like the MA, one like future times. Inside some places it switched to a usual adventure layout. There you controlled a young man with yellowish longer hair (iirc). You had to solve riddles, e.g. inside the pyramids with a mirror to redirect the sunbeam. On the islands outside the places you could get attacked by flying monsters which you could shoot with laser beams coming from the two bottom corners of the screen.

I have been trying to find these two games for a long time now I played them when I was little so some time in the late 90s the first one was on a floppy disc it had to do with space you went from one location to another in space fighting other ships and I think your best weapon was like a nuke or something that could cause a super nova or something like that and you would die from that also I think there was a self destruct line you could use how you played the game was by typing commands of what you wanted to do like typing fire nova or nude and the coordinates

what I can remember of the second game is it was a side scroller where you played a dragon and you fought skulls that would swear at you and say things like I know where you live also I think it was about your parents had been taken and you were trying to get them back and I think you had to jump all over the place to find keys to finish the levels how you fought the skulls was you jumped on them or shot fire at them I played it on a windows pc

Please help :(

The first one may be ega trek.
YES thank you that's it I just wish someone remembered the dragon one

Windows 3.1
Downloaded from AOL Games
Puzzle/ Strategy/ Board Game - Similar to othello or reversi or fillups and some chinese checkers.

Black board, each corner has an element (fire, Water, Lighting, Tornado) - you play against 3 computer pieces and they
basically move spaces and spread their element. sometimes they double up and strengthen their element. You also have to take control of the board and in some levels there are obstacles on the board.

I have been searching for this game since 1997 - no luck. Would love to find it.

Great forum.

Hey--- Patform(s): PC
Genre: Adventure,
Estimated year of release: 2000 or a little before
Graphics/art style: Pretty sure it was in 3D, and it wasn't flash, it was a game I had preinstalled on my computer.
Notable characters: Little girl (perhaps wearing a hoody, and with braids or long hair,) Snowmans or snowballs, Playing cards
Notable gameplay mechanics: Platform game alternated with "behind the back" 3D sections
Other details: There are a few levels I remember, one that I remember the most is one when the girl needs to find lost children and return as many of them as she can to the home base before sundown.
Thanks! Hope you guys know this one, been looking for it for years now.

There was a game I used to play about 10 years ago in year 3 where you were a character on an island I think and you had to move about solving mini games. I don't remember much about the actual game, but in one of the mini games you were controlling a boat that was trying to travel through a lake/river with loads of rocks in it. You could tell the boat to travel forwards so many spaces or rotate clockwise or anti clockwise a certain number of degrees. The point was to get to the end using the least amount of turns possible. And the mini games would reappear later in the game but with more difficult levels. For the life of me, I just can't remember the name!!

Ogoid, it was not Robo Pit. The game I played was set in a much grittier and darker setting and the colors were not so bright.

HEY ALL i have been trying to find this game for a while now but i couldnt :(

this game is a soccer game and its like super shot soccer but its not .

its a 3D game , you can play with only 3 buttons i guess

every team has some special super powers for example :

when a brazilian player has a ball he can turn his leg to make kinda dust to the adversary cant take the ball , when he is close to the goal keeper he has a super shot its yellow and curving its almost impossible for the goal keeper to catch it .

i remember also that the german team having a super straight shot that the goal keeper of the adversary will enter with the ball into the net .

i think that italy has a super takle too.

ps: i played this game only on arcade games . plz help me find it its really a good game and i couldnt find it by using google so help me plz . and sorry for my english :)

I am trying to find the name of a game from years ago, it could have been Snes, Sega not sure.

Essentially you start with 1 person, if I recall he starts with could be a shot sword type deal, you kill enemies and such until you pick up a chest, open a box, destroy a brick or whatever this ends up giving that base sword longer reach and is also "thicker" dealing more damage as well, if I recall hero also had a shield that can be picked up and was almost a choice or hope between a nice sword and good shield.

There was another that game was played like RPG type deal when in town, but when in the "world" most of the fighting was done via airship that were upgradable to dish more damage/take more abuse, I believe this was sega/PS/Xbox, cannot recall name, it was one I seen a buddy playing years back that I wanted to get as it looked great mixing good rpg elements town wise as well as unique airship type battling.

Looking for the name of this PC Game;

Early 90s, player starts with simpel square. As long as you touch the edge of the square the bad guys (3?) can't hurt you. Object of the game is expanding the square by moving from the edge, moving in a square-like pattern and closing the shape by returning to the edge. Then, the new enclosed area also belongs to player's "land". However; as soon as you move away from your "land", the bad guys (3) can collide with you as a player. If that happens; game over.

Any idea?
