So guys, I'm looking for an arcade game that was pretty similar to Xonix or Qix. Unfortunately I don't remember too much. I played it on Windows 95 (or 98 maybe). In the game there were egg(s) and a chicken (or chickens) too. The objective was pretty similar to the mentioned games, to fence off or claim a supermajority of the playfield.

I know it's not too much info, but I don't think a lot of games were made in this genre that time. Any idea?
any suggestion? :)

Hello, i am looking for a game from my childhood. It is from the late 80s- early 1990s and which i can not remember the name of, i remember only the following.

Description : It was available on PC, The intro featured a front picture of a Mask. You were playing as a Warrior with big msucles, wearing a Sparta like Mask, running around in 2D, in Dungeon like levels. You had to Collect Keys to advance (i think they were Bronze, Silver and Gold), there were Endbosses.

Theme : Medieveal, Dungeon, Warrior Theme, Muscle Warrior with Armor and Sparta like Mask
Platform : DOS PC, 256 Color Depth or more
Timeframe : maybe ~1989- ~ mid 1990
2D Sidescroll, Jump and Run, Bronze, Silver and Gold Keys, Endbosses

given some of the great finds people have made in this thread, i am hoping that maybe someone knows this game, would be great, since I could not find it anywhere and would like to play it again.

Yep, that's "Gods" (1991) by the "Bitmap Brothers". Actually best played on the Amiga, excellent MOD music.

Here's a link to a faithful remake of the classic game.

There was a game, rather old - shouldn't be past 2007, and the good graphics hint at the point it should be at least past 2000.

It was a 3D third-person perspective game about mechs (big robots controlled by a human inside)

I can't recall all the details except for the beginning, maybe: you start off as a woman in some building which's on fire, you follow some corridors with a handgun... after that part there's another one where you are inside of a mech (belonging to the woman) and follow through some canyons destroying hostile mechs and robots.

Alright, I've got a very vague description of the game, but I'll try anyway.

I'm not sure which it was, but I think the game was for NES or Sega. 2D graphics anyway. The theme was a bit dark, maybe you had to climb up a castle? and while doing so, you had to dodge bats that would keep flying over the screen. After a while a vampire might have appeared and increased the difficulty? Not sure if it was a boss or not.

So uhhh yeah. Good luck with that. I've tried to search for this thing forever but no luck.

Ok so this has been killing me slowly for a couple weeks. I am looking for a game I was likely playing alongside Gunbound (http://gunbound.softnyx.net/) - I was in junior high, I believe I was playing this game around 2005/2006. It was played in the third person view, it had multiple classes (warrior/mage). I am almost positive it was free2play, and it was all player vs player combat, in teams. It was 3D, graphics were pretty much what you'd expect for a free2play PC game at that time. It was almost certainly made by a Chinese, Japanese, or Korean developer (sorry I am honestly not sure).

-TLDR; Free2play arena style game with multiple classes like mages and warriors, on PC, played from third person, pretty sure it was an Asian developer.

EDIT! There was also combo points in it for hits you got on enemy players.

Hey guys, after vigorous hours of searching for a electronic handheld game device I used to play when I was a kid, my hands are still empty. hopefully you guys can help me out.
-From what I can remember there were 2 different versions of the game(each were a separate device), A fire version and like a grass version, where you played as a fire looking dude and a mossy grass guy respectively.
-The game was somewhat of an rpg, you could train your guy in a gym, take him to a bar to eat, get books from a sort of shop, buy weapons, and fight in a arena against other monster.
This is all I can remember thanks for the help!

I remember playing a from the early 90s that was picked up at a computer show. It was 3D, on the PC, had rag doll physics, and the main character was a female, I think, and made up of spheres. I think it might have been shareware? Not sure

The game started with (her?) riding into a mid evil village, on a horse, and the whole objective was to "save your girlfriend". There was no dialog or instructions so I never made it past the first level because some monster quickly beats you up after you leave the first screen and I had no idea how to play. Anyone have an idea what this game might have been?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R1-BjNJ8FFg do believe this is the game i was thinking about guys. or one very very similiar to this one.
It may have been Ninja Crusaders [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NP9NifOhAwY] for the NES, then; I also stumbled upon Shadow of the Ninja while looking for it a few years back.

As I recall, though, there aren't pirates in Ninja Crusaders.

Diablo rules you could help me with this.

I couldn't find one game since 2000s, but this game is made in 1990s.
I only know, that in that game you ride on a futuristic motorbike (not extreme-G) you spawn in a big vertical tube with other NPC's and ride down to a map, that looks like aren with some things like rockets, some type of keys to open some boosts. Map contains some zones where you could find weapon and points.
The main task is to make needed amount of points to receive a possibility to go into that vertical spawn tube in a limited time. Time is limite, because through some minutes map start to erase itself from corners to center.
To achieve points you must kill other NPC's and\or take some points in a map.
That game was freaking awesome!!!
sorry but we need to know on which platform you played it, for example PC, SNES, N64, PSX, PS2, etc etc. Also, the perspective is very important (top-down, 3D, first person, third person, etc.) I say this because I don't understand the "big vertical tube" that you say..It seems like the perspective is top-down but I might be wrong.

Hi Guys,

First time on this forum. I've been looking for a game I used to play waaaayyyy back when i think on the old floppy disks lol! I obviously cant remember the title how the game included the following:

- Based in medieval times with spells
- RPG elements with a team of up-to 6 characters I think with either turn based play or pause like Never winter nights.
- You could recruit new team members once you found them and they joined your group

I don't remember too much detail but main story line was about a group of heroes that went to different map locations fighting eneies and recruiting allies. The main element of game play i remember that was different to most games was a evil black mist or fog that slowly crept up from the bottom of the world map and each time you travel it covered more of the world. Once the evil fog covered a location you could longer visit there.

Any ideas on a name or ideally a download location? Thanks again!

I dunno if this has already been found, but it's something that's wracked my brain for a while.

Late 90s I think, like when the internet first became a thing, we had this thing I think was called "Cloud 9 CD Sampler." I don't remember anything about it besides three characters featured in it; a kangaroo, a short dog, and a green lizard girl. I think they were trying to help an archaeologist do something and it might have been a point and click adventure game. There used to be a website, I'm assuming it was for similar PC games, but since "Cloud 9" is used in damn near everything these days, it's impossible to track down with how little specific information I remember.

If anyone can lend a hand figuring this out I'd greatly appreciate it!
I already answered this game in the previous page!

should be either of these dino-series

Wanna Be A Dino Finder (1996)

http://www.museumofplay.org/online-collections/22/66/109.16277

or

I Can Be A Dinosaur Finder (1997)

http://www.museumofplay.org/online-collections/22/66/109.11754
DUDE! That's a nostalgia itch I never thought I'd be able to scratch! Thank you.

My copy is on the way!

Hey guys ,

2nd game: I played on Windows 95 (so it's not a Dos game) on cd rom, it was imperative to insert the cd rom in order to start the game, the game is a pinball, and the year was before 2002. The game contains at least 3 different sorts of pinballs, the detail that marked me,there was some sort of super hero in a pinball, but it not a well know hero (so no Duke or Batman etc ...) I believe also remember the existence of a radioactive barrel in the scenery (nop that it was not Balls of Steel) I believe that the game launched in windowed mode, in colors I would say that it was a depth to 16-bit.

Thanks in advance
Perhaps Full Tilt! Pinball ( Maxis 1995) ?
No,it's not the right game,in my memory that pinball have some scrolling.
the closest game (with that time-frame) that I can think of is

3D Pinball Express (1999)

No sorry, its not the right game I remember some fake super-hero at the menu selection itself or in the pinball, maybe the game was in s-vga.

thanks for answering.

The big vertical tube is just a spawnpoint. This game was on a PC and you drive a motorcycle from the 3-d person view

Hi,
I need some assistance. I played a game on the old Famicom system but all I remember was a castle background and on the right-hand side of the stage was a well. If I'm not mistaken, u jump into the well to progress the stage.

I've been searching for this game for years but I barely have anything to go on.

Hi guys!

So old PC game from late 90's or 2000-2001.

- An adventure game which were point and click type. (I believe that this one is a sequel)

- Almost top down view. (camera do not move)

-3D

-Characters: young boy and girl and their hovering homemade robot.

- So they are crashed with their homemade "space"ship or rocket near castle and the first "level" or beginning of the story is where these three characters try to get into the castle and there have to collect items from the ground and by solving small puzzles in warehouses near the forest. One of the things I remember was that there was this kind of strength hammer game (can be found from amusement parks) and when I hammered in right order the pedals, the weight bounced to the top, bell rang and clown face on the top of the bell loses it's glasses which had to be picked up and it was possible to see through walls or something with those glasses.

And also you couldn't die in the game. It was more like puzzles and nothing like shooting or having any enemies. (At least not at the beginning)

I'm really not sure about this but the title may have been something like "mystery of.... 2" but seriously I have no idea!

Thank you!

Hello everyone. I have a few games in mind that I cannot remember the names of.I'm not sure what I was using to play them. It was a "custom built" computer/console by my father but I have no idea which console/computer parts did he use to put it together. It used to use a 5.25 inch floppy discs, or was it an 8 inch one. I'm not sure. I played it on a keyboard, and used to plug it in a TV.

So here are the games themselves:

1) A thief? kinda game. The main character was a scrawny looking guy with a mask and a bag (stereotypic thief) over his shoulder. It as always night time I think, and I remember walking around a city in the game, perhaps visiting a bank as well. It was 2d.

2) A top-down racing game. I think you could play it with someone else as well but when there was no player 2, an AI played it. The point was to either catch the other racer or to get away from him. It was a very fast game, it looked futuristic. Whenever the 'enemy' was getting close, a small camera appeared, showing him and where he is.

3) Another platformer. Here you played someone in either a space suit, or it was a robot. You started in a space ship? if I'm not mistaken. You walked around shooting stuff and gathering keys(I think). I know this description is vague and many games fall under it, but perhaps some names will include the one I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance.
