There is one.

All I can remember was it started off with a train yard with a turn table and a guy explains that the protagonist must make his way across the city to save his life. Then he sprints away from this guy to "start the game".

I was thinking of it awhile ago and thought it was running man 'cos it kind of fit but that film is way too camp.
Maybe Hard Target with Jean-Claude Van Damme. The movie followed a similar plot, where Lance Hendrickson led a bunch of wealthy socialites on street bum safari.

When I was really little I saw an animated halloween movie on my friends tv. It was about some kids who go trick or treating together but when they go to get the last kid to go with them he runs away into the forest wearing a green skeleton costume. They chase after him and scary stuff happens. I think maybe the kid who was running away had some sort of terminal illness or something, but I didn't see the whole movie and I can only remember scraps.

This one freaking kills me because I've been wanting to look it up on wikipedia for the longest time. It was around the time first American Godzilla came out. They showed a kind of Godzilla ripoff on Fox, not sure if it was a straight to DVD thing or not, might have been.

It was about this kid and his biologist dad who are in Hawaii or something when a giant lizard monster starts attacking from the sea. The military fights it off but eventually the dad figures out the monster's not all bad and the monster had a baby and it ended with the kid and his dad trying trying to save the monsters from the military.

There also a book that I'm assuming the movie's based on with the same title, which I believe is the name of the monster.

When I was little there was a night that I couldn't sleep so I snuck downstairs to watch whatever my dad was watching on TV. He was watching some movie on the SciFi Channel that I've yet to be able to identify. Here's what I remember:

1. The segment I saw was clearly set during WWII.
2. There's an establishing shot of a cathedral with German soldiers, a Kübelwagen, and a Sd.Kfz-251 Half-Track outside.
3. German soldiers inside the cathedral, at least one of them an officer, gathered around a decorative cross low to the ground along one of the walls.
4. One of the German soldiers presses on the cross and the wall gives way, causing the soldier to fall into a hole.
5. I can't remember if the soldier is somehow flung back into the room, or if the other soldiers pull him back up, but he returns decapitated.

That's all I saw, before my mom caught me and sent me back to bed. I have no idea what the hell that was, but for some reason I never forgot about it.

So this one guy kidnaps a bunch of people and locks them together in a room, he tells them that they're all have something common, some common bond and tells them that they need to figure out what it is and why he kidnapped them. He tells them that every 10 minutes or so he will come back into the room and ask "why are you here", if they don't know he will kill one of them right then and there.

It was a pretty good movie, I'd recommend seeing it at least once.

All I can remember about this movie was 1) a white teenage girl (maybe red hair/reddish brown and she may have had light freckles) had 2 black girl friends (one light skinned and the other a bit fatter with darker skin). And the scene I remember (I want to say toward the end of movie) is the white girl on top of another white girl beating her up while her black friends cheered her on (and it may have been in the rain). You could not really hear any dialogue/sound I think. It's like you could just see the act happening and tell they were cheering her on. And I think in the same movie 2) some white boys got stuck in one of those big water heater capsules that has like a fan/whirlpool inside the capsule. I do not remember why they were in there. I want to say it was raining also?? I believe the movie was made in the 1900s (I know, not very helpful).

*grins wide* Allow me to bring you "The Halloween Tree" by Ray Bradbury. It's a Hanna-Barbara movie. Questions of ancient cartoons are a specialty of mine.

Wow, that is it! Was it actually any good? I wonder how hard it is to find.

I remember having seen a Hollywood movie with Space Craft or Space Shuttles like Endeavour that NASA has.
I had seen a very short clip of that movie on TV. I am not remember the name of that film, so can you please help me find that name as I would really like to watch that whole movie.

The short scene was like, there is a space craft ready to land on earth. But during its descent to earth, the captain (Male) realises that they are low on fuel.
NASA gives them a GO for landing after doing calculations at Houston HQ. But the co-pilot (Female) in the space craft begs to differ through her calculations.
The co-pilot seems to be very much confidant the fuel in the Space Craft wont last till the landing strip. On thinking over it the Captain of the Space Craft decides to go with the co-pilots judgement instead of the people sitting in NASA HQ. And he makes a safe landing of the space Craft in a canal like place, that might be a canal for drainage system.

I don't remember the actors of the movie either. The scene might have been a bit different as I don't recall it completely as I had seen it a long time back.
So please help me find the name of the movie.

Just a friendly advice:
We have a century of movies and decades of TV shows. Even moreso than when it comes to finding old video games, it would be massively helpful to have some indication of the time/decade you saw the movie ;)

Weird girl that's usually bullied and has a crush on the popular guy who is a good guy actually also for some reason she has telekinesis and her mom is a bit of a dick and acts in the movie crazy, stupid, love
As The Kodu said, that sounds like the basic plot of Carrie, but in this case, I'd expect you to remember more the ending than the first 2/3 of the movie :)

So there was this one movie I remember coming on. Probably late 80's, early 90's I guess?

It was this movie about a woman who is heavily implied to have been abused by her uncle when she was a child, at this house. The house had an apple tree or orchard or something like that, and he would give her red apples, so she comes to have some weird association with the color red (there may be other reasons too.)

Anyway, the rest of the story involves her as an adult, and she ends up having a psychotic breakdown when her boyfriend tries to get physical with her. She remembers seeing the color red, losing control and then bascially beating the crap out of him. I think she also lost her hearing for like a year or some such.

There's a scene where she's up on her roof singing and dancing and smoking a cigarette, and some guys are checking her out, she gets all self-conscious and giggly about it, and waves it off. They are terrible men, of course, so they're all like "Hey, was she inviting us up there?" and they break into her apartment and try to rape her. There's one guy who isn't all into the whole "forced physical attention" thing, but he's too scared to do anything at first. Finally, her screams and pleas get through to him and he tries to stop the others. The other men, being terrible awful men, end up trying to beat him up.

My memory after that is rather spotty, but she ends up having to go to her uncle's house. I guess he died or something? And there's this androgynous person at the house, possibly someone else her uncle was abusing who is trying to kill her, I think? My memory is rather fuzzy, to be honest.

At the very end, this one guy who had helped her in some fashion (I think) is having drinks with her at a bar. Then he leans over and whispers to her, and the screen turns red, which I think is supposed to imply that he was trying to see if she would have sex with him probably?

Weird movie, but I wonder about it from time to time. Anyway, if anyone happens to have seen this movie or heard about it, let me know. I'm loath to try Googling it again, because the last time I tried, the search keywords turned up some terrible sites that really ruined my faith in humanity.

Thanks :)

The Core. It's about the Earth's magnetic field going all wonky after the core's rotation stopped. The shuttle landing was from miscalculations due to magnetic north not being magnetic north so the computer systems placed Texas in California. Hillary Swank was the female astronaut. Not the best movie, in fact many actively hate it, but a decent disaster flick regardless.

Trying to remember the name of the movie of watched when I was younger and I only remember a little bit of it. Could you help me? This movie is set in space and it had a purple alien and a green alien and I remember laughing hard at it so think it could be a comedy movie too. I cannot remember much of it. Please help if you can.
This sounds vaguely like the animated "adult" TV show Tripping the Rift [https://www.google.com/search?q=Tripping+the+Rift&safe=off&es_sm=93&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=EnzPVI2eLMy0ggT5x4HYCQ&ved=0CAkQ_AUoAg&biw=1069&bih=816].

Ok, here´s a tough one as I´ve been surfing the net a lot searching for this...

As a 80´s kid, I remember watching a couple of times an animated movie. I vaguely remember some things, like a kid falling asleep watching an excavator machine than ressembles a dinosaur, then most of the movie is about dinosaurs, how they lived, fight, survived, etc... I thnk by the end of it, the T-Rex is walking along a beach when it dies (don´t remember how)...

I´ve been tracking this one out but I don´t have any clues about animation, studio or actors, I recall the cartoon being very good drawn and it wasn´t japanese style.

I´d really REALLY appreciate if anyone could help.

The film I'm looking for takes place in (I think) an underwater facility. The scene I remember was a man and a woman swimming up a tube to, probably the surface, but on the way up they notice a sea monster (most likely serpent like) and the woman pushes the man ahead just as the serpent bursts through and eats her. Sadly that's all I remember, I just went through the entire IMDB "Sea monster Movies" list and couldn't find it. Help?

Ok, This is an older movie, probably late 80's or early 90's

It's based in space mostly where (I think) there's this family on a space ship going somewhere, and there' this robot that the little boy can control but the robot can also be left to do it own thing. They find this other ship that's abandoned ( I think it's a ship) with vegetation growing almost everywhere, then they find this monkey sort of thing that can change colours and is afraid of them until they give it chocolate. They take the organism back with them, but an innumerable amount of small spider-like aliens start attacking the ship and the they try to evacuate while the boy takes control of the robot to try and fend of the spiders until it gets completely overwhelmed.

That's about it and it'd be awesome if someone could give me a title or something

It's not that old, it came out in 1998. It's not THAT old dammit! You young whippersnappers coming in and talking like that was the ancient past. *shakes cane mightily* Now get off my lawn!
