Old pc games!!!

am a console gaming at heart but i am getting into pc games lately, ive got fallout 1&2, red faction 2, prince of persia 2, hitman 1, full spectrum warrior ten hammers, dawn of war with 3 expansion packs, halo 1, serious sam 2, call of duty 1&2 and doom3, but iam looking for some really good RTS games, DOW is good but am looking for a really hard RTS, i heard starcarft is awesome. so help me please, thanks!

Fuck I really liked that game!! I used to spend 4 hours minimum a day on that game. I really liked to mass Imperial AT-ATs and make Hoth more epic than it was.

Fuck I really liked that game!! I used to spend 4 hours minimum a day on that game. I really liked to mass Imperial AT-ATs and make Hoth more epic than it was.

Yay a fellow fan! Personally I liked to make waved of storm troopers. Sure one big cannon and they are dead, and they don't carry the biggest guns, but damn did I love seeing them march around in a big kill formation

*high-fives* Lol, I forgot about the formations. Another thing I liked about the game was the trading system and building fortifications (walls, turrets, etc.).

You want RTS? Well, the oldest I can remember playing was the Age series. Age of Empires, Age of Kings, Age of Mythology, Age of Discovery. AoM was my favorite, personally, but if retro is what you're going for, AoE can't be beaten. Pick up AoK if you want to learn something historically applicable while you play.

These are by Ensemble, the same guys who made Halo Wars, a far shittier game. To their credit, it's more playable on console than Battle for Middle Earth 2, but that's like saying a game was "more released" than Duke Nukem Forever.

ya played halo wars, its ok? hate mircosoft for closing them down, played Age of empires 1 liked it, but which 1 do you think is the best?

The Command & Conquer: Red Alert series is good. Well the first 2 were, I haven't made up my mind if I like the 3rd one.
You should probably just get Command & Conquer: The First Decade collection it inc. all the Command & Conquer games up to and inc. Generals inc. expansions. all of which are at least worth a look. That is if you're indeed looking for an RTS.
