I had originally thought of just making this about the game I've been replaying as of late but I figured I'd expand on it to include you guys as well. What old games do you have that you still like to go back and replay once in awhile?

In my case I've been replaying Prototype 2, it may not be a groundbreaking series or anything, but good lord, the Prototype games can let you do some pretty crazy shit. For example, got a tank or APC bothering you? Sure you could hijack it if you want, or you could do
this.

Pity that a third game in the series is unlikely.

I've been playing new game+ on Skyward Sword and Xenoblade from time to time, trying to get 100% on the 2nd play through. As for the 3DS; Pokemon!

Wow, a lot of these I don't even consider "older", isn't Prototype 2 2011 at the oldest? In the past month I replayed Freespace 1 + 2, Blood, Il-2: 1946, Deus Ex and Crusader: No Remorse and No Regret. The two games I've been playing that I don't consider old are Killing Floor (2009) and Red Orchestra 2 (2011, but with the Rising Storm expansion that came out a month ago).

I'm constantly playing PS2 games. I bought Psychonauts recently, for example. Never played it, can't wait to try out, it's got great status.

2012 is 'older' now? I thought we were talking like, 1990's or early 2000's...

Anyway, my list isn't all that exciting. Final Fantasy VII/IX, Sonic the Hedgehog 1-3 + Knuckles, Kingdom Hearts, Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, Halo, Knights of the Old Republic/II, Banjo-Kazooie/Tooie, Star Wars Episode 1 Racer, that sort of stuff. I've tried getting into some older games that I never played when they originally came out, but by and large they're too dated for me to enjoy anymore.

Thanks to DosBox I've been tinkering around with super old games like Zyll, Roadwar 2000 and Wasteland. I also got The Neverhood and Blade Runner to work somehow, but the gun range in Blade Runner isn't working. Also, I found my old discs for No One Lives Forever, Aliens versus Predator 2 and Half Life/Blue Shift/Opposing Force, although I'm having some trouble with Blue Shift for some reason.

I'm also ashamed to admit that I just recently finished Delta Force Land Warrior. I might even fire up the original backwards compatible Ghost Recon on 360. Overall I'd say I had the most fun with No One Lives Forever, of which I'm proud to say I still have the original disc. It can't be bought on Steam or GoG; if you don't have the disc, you're SOL.

I do play some Ninja Gaiden(nes) quite a bit. I also still playing the living shit out Tetris 2(snes). I do enjoy playing faxanadu(nes) if I can get the damn to work. Can't forget The Guardian Legend too. I just hate that stupid password system. It's like 40 characters long. Yeeeesh!!!

Ace Combat 5: The Unsung War, and GTA: San Andreas. Every once in a while, I'll try to throw down on DMC3:SE, but it doesn't quite hold the same allure that it used to. Same with MGS3: Subsistence, but that might be because the control scheme in MGS4 makes it so much harder to go back. It f*cks me up when i can't walk while I'm crouched.

Dragon Age: Origins. It's a great game, even if it isn't all that old. Can't wait until they release a sequel... Also, I still can't stop playing Age of Empires II, it was the first PC game I ever bought and it's still a damn good game.

Well, the thing is, I liked Origins for the tactical aspect of it all, and I especially loved the challenge on Nightmare. Dragon Age II's Nightmare was an unholy clusterfuck: On the one hand, it was no where near as challenging as Origins, but on the other, it resorted to cheap crap like spawning a whole bunch of enemies right behind your caster just when your tank was starting to get stuff under control. And for the sake of brevity, I'm just gonna ignore everything else wrong with that game (unfocused plot, bland characters, choices didn't matter... Must.. stop... typing...)

Forbidden Forest! I play it at least once a month. You get pretty good at a game you've played regularly since it came out........in 1983 :/

Well, one of my life goals is to complete Front Mission 3 on every device that could possibly play it. I've completed it on original PSOne, on PSP PSOne emulator, on PC PSOne emulator, on Vita, and now I'm gonna finish it on my PS3.

I go back to classic RPG's like Fallout 2 and Baldur's Gate 2 pretty frequently, probably once a year I'll find myself playing through an oldschool RPG.

Also I recently re-installed Black and White 2 and I'm still enjoying it. Thats a lot of number twos

I pulled my N64 out of the closet to play some of my old favorite games like majora's mask, banjo-kazooie, smash brothers, and kirby. I really missed that system, I think I might just pack up my wii and keep my n64 out. I was a little sad thought to see some of the games I don't have going for like $50 now.

My favorite one I missed by far was Kirby 64 the crystal shard.
