Fucking Contra 1 for NES.

IT GETS HARDER WITH EVERY YEAR. WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN-
either that or:

Deus Ex, or System Shock 2 for PC.

For some reason I stopped playing the former one somewhere around the end of the game. The latter one is an alternative, as I absolutely loved it, but I'm arachnophobic(and the no-spiders mod didn't work for me).

or:

Every single Mario ever. I'm shitting you not, I could never get through middle levels, not mentioning the end ones.

Alex Kidd in Miracle World!!!
I finished it with the help of an emulator, but now I need to finish it the correct way, no save states! The further I could get was on the damn castle. It's insane the ammount of traps that place has, not even the Pyramids are that well protected.

Vexx, FFX, FFXII, Dark Cloud, Dark Cloud 2, Chaos Legion...

Quite a lot of games. I'm curious as to how XIII panned out, but it is just too clunky for me to even bother with.

Majora's Mask, a mixture between gamecubes breaking, other games coming out and savestate loss never really let me.
(Though what I have played so far is great, just like OOT which I beat tens of times.)

Final Fantasy 8 (PS1)
My favorite. And the one I plan on finishing after 13.
Awesome, someone else that likes 8 the most despite not finishing it.

Apart from Phantasy Star IV which I'm currently playing through on the Sega Mega Drive Ultimate Collection, my oldest unfinished game would be FF8. A lost memory card and a friend that wasn't paying attention when he was saving robbed me of a couple games on the third disc while the game itself causes obsessive-compulsive tendencies in me. Virtually every game I've started I have a Level 100 party before going to Timber for the first SeeD mission. Hell, the first time I played it I wasn't paying attention to the tutorials and only figured out how to Junction just before the battle with Elvoret in Dollet.

I am terribly embarassed, but the second boss is practicly impossible for anyone with bones in their thumbs in stead of rubber:

TaleSpin(yeah, the Disney one) for GB. I never finished it. As a kid I never could, as an adult I realise it's practilcaly impossible. I have only beaten the second(!) boss once, by doing, well, something, I don't really know, but I never even damaged him since.

Let me give you a description:

A big robot thingy, with a small cockpit with a dog. In front of the robot float 2 iron balls that damage you on touch, but home in on you horizontaly, then drop down. On top of that, it shoots balls.

Trick is to get in front of the balls, but the dog sits in a sort of U shaped cockpit, so shooting straight is no option, bounces off, and to get too close means death by dropping steel from above. I HATE the game.

Spyro: Season of Ice for the GBA. You have to free all 100 fairies it's too much for me! also KOTOR, but that's my PC's fault for being unbearably slow

Grand Theft Auto 3. It's been on my shelf for ages, I even think it's still wrapped up.

I'll need to give it a go at some point.

Prince of Persia: Sands of time.

Just recently found it at a used game store and I'm now playing the hell out of it. And i found Psychonauts there at the same time, so I guess that counts as well.

Digimon World 2 for the PS1. I am so close to beating it, but never got around because it gets boring after too long. I need like a year break between every 10 missions in that game. But I think soon, it's getting done.
