Ocarina of Time. I never really finished games on the N64 and I had a lot, but I don't plan on finishing those since we no longer have them.

My "to complete list" goes like this: Ocarina of Time (GameCube), Majora's Mask (GameCube), Metroid Prime (GameCube), Eternal Darkness (GameCube), Legend of Mana (PS1), Final Fantasy 8 (PS1), Hexen (PS1), Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain (PS1), Sword of the Berserk (Dreamcast), Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (Dreamcast), Turok (Xbox 360), Thief: Deadly Shadows (Xbox), Peter Jackson's King Kong (Xbox 360), Batman: Arkham Asylum (Xbox 360).

No idea what my oldest is, but Forza 3 is one I keep meaning to go finish. It was that November/December time rush that made me leave it for the time being.

And It's not quite the same, but Mass Effect 1 I keep meaning to go back and play through as a Vanguard or something other than an Infiltrator or Soldier, and then play through ME2 with that character. Will do that at some point.

Phantasy Star 2 (megadrive)
Kingdom Hearts (PS2)
Assasins Creed (360)

There are loads of other games I need to complete but these are ones that I really want to finish.

Eerie. I dreamed about this last night.

I dreamed the makers of Unreal (in my dream it was Unreal Corp) had de-facto ownership of the world, a lot like Lliandri Corp. Fortunately all the real work was automated so the only real "job" was playing video games.

I got hired by an attractive woman to play through Descent 1 on Hotshot or higher. Since I've never finished the game without cheating, I guess that's my answer.

I *would* say Magic Carpet 1 except it crashes constantly and you can't save in levels. Magic Carpet 2 was better anyway and I've beat it thrice.

STALKER: Shadow of chernobyl. I got to the city part but got ganked by a guy with a rocket launcher, so I rage quit and didn't start the game again. Now it's gone :(

Final Fantasy VII.

I borrowed my cousin's PSX back when FFVII was all the rage. Made it all the way up to the final dungeon, knowing Sephiroth was lurking somewhere inside. Then I got a call from the cousin, telling me he wanted his console back. "No biggie," I thought, "I'm gonna resume next time I borrow the console from him..."

Sure.

The only problem with this undisputable logic is that the first thing this now disowned family member did was clear my savefiles from his memory card.

So long, Sephiroth. Au revoir, Aerith. Ciao, Cid.

Last year, I got my hands on a used copy off Ebay. 75 $ (CAD). Still haven't gotten around to play it all... But I will. And when I do, I'll record the ending sequence and play it in loop while I burn photographs of that bastard cousin of mine, singing "The Roof is on Fire".

Edit : Oh, and Thief: the Dark Project. Damn I loved/hated that game.

Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 9, and Grandia 3 are the only ones that come to mind at the moment.

Go to disc 2 of FF7 and stopped playing, but I forget why.
Stopped playing FF9 after Amarant left, and I got stuck in that castle.
Started playing Grandia 3 immediately after beating Gandia 2 and didn't feel like playing it. Haven't bothered to give it another go yet.

OH! And Metroid Prime 2. Every time I tried beating it, I'd get so close to the end, then something would come up and I'd have to stop playing it for a few day, and when I'd come back, I'd forget what I was doing. I've made 4 attempts and still haven't beaten it. What I would give for a recap feature.

Final Fantasy VII.

I've got 1,2,3,4,7,8,9,10 and 12 and i've completed 7,9 and 10. 8 is the only one i really want to finish! I got stuck in Lunatic Pandora with really shitty weapons so i couldn't beat the boss at the end of that level.
