Thats the skipped part i mentioned.Layz92 said:The expert (aka a guy who wears a suit) in the clip used the line "they are treated like commodities rather than living breathing animals" or some such.Nunny said:We all know they are commodities and unless I skipped something no one is argueing about that yet.Layz92 said:I can not agree with you more. I wouldn't mind bobby-joe (or whatever his name was from the clip) having a 10 min session at her.Mr. Grey said:Also, I hate that newswoman... I have no idea why, she just irks me.
OT: The cows ARE commodities. Not saying they should be treated the same as say a box of fruit but they are a commodity whether you like it or not. I don't agree however with the violence against them. The animals do nothing aggressive towards the employees so there is no sane reason to attack them.
Camera angle was too high for purse or handbag(unless the camera operator was really tall)Quality, frames and sound are of a higher caliber than a normal cam-corder and concealable "spy-cams". Also if you let someone in to your dairy farm of discontent for a tour of the place i doubt you'll go about your normal cruelty unless your just that window lickin' retarded. Just the video set off my bs-dar. Not saying it is fake, just seems like it to me. And yes the actions in the video are still reprehensible a very awful.Frozen Donkey Wheel2 said:I'm sorry, what exactly qualifies you to make that kind of judgment? Do you happen to have extensive experience in the field of concealed cameras? Or are you just being cynical for the sake of cynicism?(or trolling?)TeaBaggin said:I'll have to agree with you, that "Shocking Footage" seemed a little to fake. Camera angle and quality are not consistent with what you would use with a concealed camera, that is unless they're just dumbasses who let some random person film their everyday cruelty.Hopeless Bastard said:blah blah blah
Isolated incident committed by asshole.
Abused animals produce less and lower quality meats/milks/cheeses. This has been known for quite some time, and only hourly wage assholes (or people paid by "animal rights" groups so they can film it) ever engage in actions such as these.
And to Hopeless Bastard: Can you actually name an incident when an animal rights group paid someone to commit animal cruelty? (No, that was actually not rhetorical. I wouldn't be too surprised if you could, I just think if you're going to make an accusation like that, you should at least back it up.) Even if you can (again, I'm not saying you can't) I still don't really get your point. We already know it was just some hourly wage asshole. The video said only one person was fired.
Well, Ok. First of all, it is too high for a purse, but not a hat. About the sound/picture quality...I'm not sure if we're watching the same video or what, but in the one I'm seeing, there is no sound. It's muted, so you can you the newscaster talking over it. And about the quality: I've actually taken better looking videos on a camera. Not a camcorder, a regular camera that happened to take short videos. I've also seen better quality video on a cell phone, so...there ya go.(Note: I am not claiming that this makes me an expert. Feel free to inform me that I have no idea what I'm talking about.) The one thing about the video that makes no sense to me is the context for the..."investigator's"....visit, and the douchebag's willingness to commit the acts in front of them. The only somewhat reasonable expanation I can think of is...well, what you said. "Window licking retarded."TeaBaggin said:Camera angle was too high for purse or handbag(unless the camera operator was really tall)Quality, frames and sound are of a higher caliber than a normal cam-corder and concealable "spy-cams". I mostly work with TV cameras so maybe im jaded but the other thing that made me go "hmmmmm" was if you showed the mug shot of the perpetrator why blur out his face in the video? Also the conversation seemed a bit one sided with the pundits they brought on, no dairy industry spin artists to do damage control? If my bread and butter was in jeopardy i would definitely jump in and start throwin some heals. Just seems all "agenda" to me.Frozen Donkey Wheel2 said:Well, Ok. She pisses me off too. She is annoying in so many ways...every article is like "LOOK AT THIS HORRIBLE THING!!! ISN'T IT HORRIBLE??? SEE HOW UNBIASED I AM??!?!?!?!"Mr. Grey said:Also, I hate that newswoman... I have no idea why, she just irks me.
Did you check the news report? It said they were being stabbed with pitch forks and apparently some were even killed...The Rockerfly said:I still think the intention is cruel but the application is not. I doesn't matter if it hurts or not. That's hitting with the intent to cause harm in more ways then just pain. That's using your power over something that can't protect it's self and abusing it just because.
Also when did a woman get involved? I said panda dammit
Read my other posts, skin is much thicker, bones are massively stronger than ours and their pain threshold is a lot higher than oursN1ceDreamz said:Did you check the news report? It said they were being stabbed with pitch forks and apparently some were even killed...
If you think being stabbed doesn't hurt, then go get your head checked.
I agree with swolf.
