For a game based around the skillshot system, I was expecting, well, more skillshots than about 10 per gun.

I've got bored of it for now and am doing Black Ops, but I'll probably get back into it.
I was thinking the same way as you until I tried echoes and anarchy mode... they are great way to get your skillshots filled out as they just throw enemies at you.

Still, it would have been nice to have been able to make more use of them in the campaign, the battlefields often felt just that little bit too narrow to effectively pull off the more complex ones (I still haven't been able to do any of the bouncy ball ones, I hate that gun)

I haven't tried it yet, and so far I've been convinced that it would suck, even though I like FPS's and don't care for a story in a game.

But simply because of the responses on this thread, I'll either try a demo first or buy it directly.

9. The prologue mission was a little slow, especially when compared to the rest of the game. So it could definitely be better, but it's already fucking awesome.

This game is also very pretty. The settings are amazing compared to regular FPS fare.

[small]The voice acting is much better than you'd expect from a game like this too. Steve Blum and Jennifer Hale~[/small]

8, maybe 9. I loved over the top gameplay and dialogue throughout most of the game, it's just a shame the story becomes so serious towards the end. And the ending itself was a bit disappointing gameplay-wise.

7. I loved the funny dialouge, but Sarrano kinda pushed it after a while. PUSSYRIMJOBSHITFUCKASSDICK!!
All though it did immerse me very well and the revolver was an awesome weapon.

Bought it today, and I gotta say my opinion might be a little biased since I can't state enough how delighted I am to see how the game runs on my beat-down, 2-year-old laptop. While I can barely play Battlefield Bad Company 2 on it on medium settings (multiplayer, the single player campaign beats the shit out of it), Bulletstorm works like a damn charm on medium. It's a graphical delight and it's really impressive to see the huge scenarios and impressive sequences like the grindwheel pursuit come alive, so that's a 5/10 at least.

And then there's the gameplay. It's really fun, I gotta give you that, and I've gone through some really cool moments like the moment you can get blasted off in a bar and then proceed to explode three enemies at once which gives you further bonus for being drunk out of your ass. I still gotta try out the multiplayer, but I'm giving it a 8/10 for the moment: one point for the Skillshot system, one point for -what I think is- a great parody of Gears Of War (the RRoD reference at the beginning was utterly brilliant) and yeah, one entire point solely for the pure awesomeness of the scaled city / robo dinosaur level.

I'd give it a 6-7 so far, I haven't finished it yet but I'm not far off the end. It's a lot more linear than I was expecting but still kinda fun.
My multiplayer has been a bit poor too, loads of connection issues and lagg...when I can get into a game.

An 11. I've seriously had more fun with this than I had with Vanquish and I loved Vanquish. I like the kinds of games that reward you for doing awesome things, and Bulletstorm is basically a playground for doing ridiculous stuff and then it gives you a big high five for doing it. And then there's the surprisingly good story. With a game like this, you would think they'd just say "go here and kill everything" but while that's certainly there, it's a lot deeper than I expected. The writing is also some of the best and the acting done really well. Definitely worth what I paid for it and its going to be a strong runner for game of the year. For me, at least.
Strange, I HATED, and I mean HATED vanquish with a passion, but love Bulletstorm. Ah well everyone to their own I guess...

I'd say 8. It reminds me of Madworld, done right. I'm about halfway done with it, so my opinion might change later on, but so far it's really fun.

A nice 8. It's really, really fun in short bursts, but it gets old if you play more than 2 hours at a time.
