I'll be trying Whiskey on the rocks methinks. I'll take it nice and slow and have a waterbottle with me. I'm looking forward to playing pool or cards with my university friends.

I'm probably going to be offered free shots but I'm going to turn them down. I'm experimenting for the first time, no need to drink myself into a hole yet.

A half bottle of Vodka mixed with some pepsi, magic!

Ah nice, I've had that, it's quite nice. If it's a bit strong (which it may be as it's your first time) add a bit of coke or something to it.

It would be ok to try one or two shots, just don't mix too much or you'll be fucked.

Oh and eat something!

first drink was first party of college, Budweiser is surprisingly good beer, ( to me that is), favorite drink now is definitely a Jack and Coke.

That being said, don't rush it, its an acquired taste, but it definitely is a good social tool

At 14 I had my first drink. Think it was Strongbow. Basically got pissed with my friends and funnily enough I had my first kiss that night too. Since then I've fully understood the term "Beer Goggles".

As for drinking now? I enjoy having a pint if I'm driving, which is pretty much nearly any night I'm out. Or I'll just drink cheap shots if I want to get drunk.

I don't drink much, never have. I don't see the point in drinking every weekend, much prefer having a drink when I'm actually celebrating something.

So, I had my first drink. I started with Lager, didn't really enjoy it. Moved to Cider which was really good. Later on in the night we left my friends apartment and went to a pub. Had a shot of Vodka. Nice, it tasted great and felt great. Tried Whisky next, it was good too. Tried a glass of Cognac that tasted horrible.

Had some beer, didn't puke all night and ate some subs before going to bed. I drank more water than alcohol and woke up without a headache or nausea. It was a great experience, one that I want to do again with my friends sometime. I can hold my liquor but I'm not a frequent drinker. Since that weekend I've only drank once.

So yeah, that is the conclusion of my first encounter with drinking. It was fun and I can remember what happened too.

Well, where I live now the drinking age is 18. But back home, my first drink was when I was 15. I think it was..umm...vodka?

Personal favorite is Bourbon.
