Hm... Fun random fact... Ms. Pacman was made out of a hack of the original PacMan and was sold as a new game. Subsuquently the company was sued, and Ms.Pacman became part of the PacMan series.

I'll agree with that they were great games...

And Jonathan Ross done a voice for one of the marines in Halo 3 however it is a rare occurence to hear it.

Well done you now try lick your elbow :p

The PS1 was intended to be by Nintendo, as they got Sony to make the electrical components but they ditched the idea so Sony built the console.

Super Mario Bros. 2's USA release was made by changing a few graphics from Doki Doki Panic, this was because Nintendo of America found the Japanese release of Super Mario Bros. 2 to be too frustrating to release in the USA.

Final Fantasy was named so as it was supposed to be Square's final game due to a succession of unsuccessful games... guess we can all appreciate the irony here.

OP: Pac-man's design was based on a pizza missing one piece. Guess we can thank Italians for both Mario and Pac-Man. :p

I have no idea.
I think it took ten years as they simply forgot about it or it kept shifting publishers or something stupid.
Google it if you want to find out about it. My info tends to be off.

Longtail Studios has a development team based on Prince Edward Island, Canada. They recently decided to open another studio in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Those guys seems to like having studios out in remote places.

The original Resident Evil had a animation between rooms to mask load times. In the remake the load times were non-existent so the animation was no longer needed. Playtester said it felt unnatural so they added the animation back in.
