Category 2: Something youd really LOVE to have on your person at all times but know you cant due to pesky physics and reality. Like Scott Pilgrims sword of self respect.

Category 3: Something absurd. Like a banana that reforms itself after you've eaten it. It's an endless banana.

1) My Swiss army knife. I'm lost without it. So one of those ones with a torch and USB stick in it.

2) A lightsaber. Whenever I wear one about I feel cool, but I get odd looks from people (they're just jealous). So a fully functioning one would be cool. Useful for trimming hedges and such too.

3) That time altering suit from TimeShift. It would come in handy.
