Publishers are no more evil than your local grocery store. Both are the middle man between you and a producer and both want money for being this.

Take a step back from Mass Effect and realize its just a game. It might be a good game, but shut the fuck up about your fake relationships with aliens. Nobody gives 2 shits.

Now, I'm a nerd as much as the next guy, I love being engrossed in a game, but the same reason people find bronies annoying is why everyone finds these people annoying.

Basically, if someone isnt interested, don't beat them to death with your fanbase.

The N7 rating in ME3 multiplayer has nothing to do with how good you are. It refers to the amount of characters you have leveled up to 20 and transferred to your single player game as a war asset.

Ironically you might be better at your single character than someone who has been switching around a lot :p

Peter Molyneux is the biggest retard on the planet..."in this new fable game we have taken away the ability to use swords and magic, so we can now fit in more features for your dog ^_^"...i hate what he did with the franchise.

Developers put years of their life and frequently their own money into making things to entertain you, so you should be a little grateful every now and then.

Games that have been in production for an insane amount of time are rarely as good as they should be, and have likely changed developers many times. Duke Nuke 'em is a prime example of this.

There will always be one person out there who believes that this one game that's universally agreed upon as terrible is a legitimately good game.
And it's corollary: There will always be one person out there who believes that this one game that's universally agreed upon as great is a legitimately bad game.

Also, your opinion is always important, but so is mine.

It's okay to like a product that's similar to another, as long as it delivers. I can like new Zelda, Mario, CoD, Halo, God of War, etc titles if I like, even if their formula hasn't changed much between games, because the familiarity and differences between games can be just as exciting as the games themselves.

They're just games, take it easy.
Blasphemy! Or, it would be, if I wasn't inclined to say something reasonable, like how everyone finds something different to be really serious about, whether it's baseball, football, beer, games, or how to poo in the woods.

Games you build up in your head will always, always dissapoint you.
I see your sound premise, but defeat your always with Portal 2.

Gameplay is more important than features and graphics.

Sort of like the Smackdown series of wrestling games, they always had way more match options and other features than it's rival series "Day of Reckoning" for the Gamecube, but Day of Reckoning had way better gameplay. Sadly when the WWE decied they would only do one series of video games across all consoles, they decided to go for the Smackdown series which was originally Playstation exclusive since more people bought them than Day of Reckoning, forgetting the fact that the Gamecube sold only a fraction of units than the PS2 did.

Still looks great seven years later.

I agree with your point and am ecstatic that someone has mentioned a wrestling game outside of No Mercy. There doesn't seem to be a lot of love for wrestling games.

Or sports games for that matter.

Which leads me to my thing all gamers should know: sports games are games too. Since when does a game based in reality make it less of a game?

Hell, a third of my gaming library is made up of sports games. They're ok to like. It's ok to live vicariously through your created players. Obviously don't brag about it IRL unless you have a buddy with whom you directly compete. Then you'll just seem like a weirdo.

Take everything Valve says with a pinch of salt.
Ponies are everywhere, and will not go away, no matter how hard you try.
Call of Duty are not just for morons, but they also do not define the genre.
Always save.
Don't discriminate over platform, class, game, or anything else.
DLC isn't Satan's earthly form.
Quick time events exist solely to ruin a good game,

I'm sorry, episode 3 is never coming, have a cry and move on. that's what I did.
the better a game looks, the less likely it will be localized for your region

that's all I got.

Don't hate on what other gamers play but don't rub in your shit into others' faces either.

There are illegal programs that let other people monitor you through your webcam. It's unlikely to actually happen to me, but I don't like it to be uncovered unless I need it.

Metacritic is THE LAW. You judge the expected fun to have by it and you are allowed to correct as many people as you can find on the i-net. Your opinion is right `cause you can back it up. Tell them when they are wrong.

Create another acount for guilty pleasures under 85%, none of your cool friends will see you`re liking mediocre, or even (gasp) shitty games.
