First, and foremost, it's "F2P-*Random insult*" from the less than welcoming TF2-community. It's as if they seriously believe that skill is determined wether you once payed for the game or not. And honestly, feeling bitter because a game that was released in 2007 have switched to a more efficient business model to maximize the content and upkeep for everyone is really rather sad.
Skill comes from practice, and I did just that before I lept into the multiplayer, to make sure I could contribute to the team. And sometimes, I actually contribute more than some who bought the game do.
Alright, and for a few others.
"Orginality";
It's as if the only valid form of creativity is to come up with something that has never ever been done before. Which is infuriating, since that is simply not possible, nor would it lead to much of a gaming experience. It's just like people feeling clever when they point out that a Donald Duck comic did the Inception-thing first, as if using one basic plot-device once (in this case, travelling into other people's dreamworlds) means it is VERBOTEN and may not be used again, or you are... *Gasp!* Unoriginal!
"Realism";
I like me some realism in the picture sometime. Like ArmA 2, which was more or less entirely commited to realism, and it worked. It wasn't just a stupid gimmick, and it really made the experience feel special. But there is a time and place, and just craming it in so that the teenage boys will be impressed isn't the right one.
"Camper";
Yes, sometimes its justified, like people just standing by a staircase to rack up kills without contributing anything worthwhile. But people tend to shout this if you take the luxury to stand still for five seconds and get your bearings. I mean, I like to play the classic sniper-role. Heaven forbid, then, that I adopt snipery behaviour like finding and maintaing a good position and spending half a nanosecond to aim.
"Omg, reading/listening to the story or ingame characters or books are boring";
...Is really bleedin' irritating when it's immediatly followed by complaints that the player in question has no idea of what's going on (Bioshock) or run straight into clearly visible and forewarned Deathclaw territory (New Vegas). No, all games shouldn't be required to spoonfeed everything to you, if you can't be asked to calm the frock down and get your bearings for half a second.
"Aspergers";
A very much real condition, and you probably don't have it. If it's not a proper diagnosis from a doctor, then I wouldn't attach much importance to it. Furthermore, don't treat it as a reason to avoid having to self-improve, or to behave yourself. Even if you do have aspergers, I'm sure you've already been asked to attempt to overcome that disability, not just sit there and use it as a shield.
"Woman! Make me a sammich!";
It's simply not a very fun joke, and I am perfectly aware that this statement alone will mark me out as a feminist tosser not to be listened to. But it's simply not funny.
On nerd-sexism in general, by the way; anyone who honestly has to resort to sexism all the time have no reason to complain if it's far between the lassies, if you see what I mean.
"It's colourful! Gaaaaaaaaaa-haaaaaaa-haaay!";
A counterpoint to the brown-thing (which I do agree on, brown isn't nearly as bad as described, and it sometimes fit the game), as mostly seen and whined about in Diablo 3. For some reason, actually being given enviroments that are pleasant to look at and easily identifiable is a cold-hearted treason upon all the fans who have waited so patiently for Diablo to once more lead them on to heaven. Furthermore, the whole gay as an insult-thing is... To put it mindly, you can zero in that person's mental age fairly well that way.
"Sandbox";
Could we perhaps come up with a more fitting term? Playing a game where I can travel and do things in which order I want doesn't strike me as much as a good sandbox-comparison. It's certainly well-fitting for Minecraft, but not for anything else, really.
"Aaaah, must have co-op or multiplayer!11";
While I agreee upfront that both are very nice things to have, I still think that some experiences are best enjoyed alone. There is a time and place for multiplayer and co-op. And that is not all the flamping time...
