Finnaly someone else on this site who knows how most girls work, sorry if I hurt anyones feelings by saying this but;

The nice guy act works to an extent.
You might have the attention of the girl you like but that doesn't mean she's gonna make the move, somewhere deep in the subconscious of everyones mind there is that one guy yelling, GUYS HAVE TO MAKE THE FIRST MOVE.
Also if you don't have the attention of the person you like, just introduce yourself. If the person you like then acts like a jerk to you by ignoring you, you'll know she/he isn't someone to be liked and they don't deserve your affection.

And as a side note, if any girls are reading this, do the rest of the world a favour and tell your friends to make the first move on guys they like :p

It happens every day, and there is nothing wrong with it. Shame on anyone who thinks its 'weird'. Much better, and safer, than meeting in a bar for fuck's sake.

I met my husband in Everquest. We were guild mates and friends for over a year before he admitted he had feelings for me. We met IRL, things clicked, and we've been together for over 5 years now. And have two beautiful girls.

Things can happen anywhere; you just have to try to be smart about it and not let your hormones go nuts!
i agree with you there Tehlanna

i want to know have any of you fallen in love online and have you ever met up with that person and/or became more
Yup. I met my current girlfriend accidentally on Facebook. We're both in love now and have been together for 6 months now.
you had it lucky
I'm in the same boat, I met my girl online and we've been together for a year now :D.
Sorry to hear of your predicament, however if she's in love with you then she should make her own choices (tho depends on the country she lives in unfortuently).

Indeed. I wouldn't say I've truly fallen in love, but I've met some very lovely people online - more so than offline, for that matter.

I think there has to be a lot more trust in an online relationship, though. A lot more, and as such they can be a little draining.

Ah well thank you for the compliment! To me, women are just people like the rest of us, they're not that much more complex than any of my male friends.

You seem to think the same as me. If someone is going to be rude then they're not worth your time, there's no point working on an incompatible person.

I have once, but he was so shadey and somewhat of playboy/slut who just liked to play mind-games with me.
Some jerk from SF California, but I figured he was already getting plenty of tail and didn't need me.

I met my current GF online and its been the best relationship I've ever had. Two years o' memories, it works but most of the time it falls flat on its face... Like in your case (no offence)

Wow, OP. You must have a very loose definition of love.

Anyway, no, but I have had relationships start that way, and met up in real life and so on.

I can't add myself as a friend so I'll never be able to find 'online love' as you put it.
